Chiral assemblies have become one of the most active research areas due to their versatility,playing an increasingly important role in bio-detection,imaging and *** this work,chiral UCNPs/CuxOS@ZIF nanoprobes are prepared by encapsulating upconversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)and CuxOS nanoparticles(NPs)into zeolitic imidazolate framework-8(ZIF-8).The novel excited-state energy distribution-modulated upconversion nanostructure(NaYbF4@-NaYF4:Yb,Er)is selected as the fluorescence source and energy donor for highly efficient fluorescence resonance energy transfer(FRET).CuxOS NP is employed as chiral source and energy acceptor to quench upconversion luminescence(UCL)and provide circular dichroism(CD)*** the natural adsorption and sorting advantages of ZIF-8,the designed nanoprobe can isolate the influence of other common disruptors,thus achieve ultra-sensitive and highly selective UCL/CD dual-mode quantification of H2S in aqueous solution and in living ***,the nanoprobe is also capable of in vivo intra-tumoral H2S *** work highlights the multifunctional properties of chiral nanocomposites in sensing and opens a new vision and idea for the preparation and application of chiral nanomaterials in biomedical and biological analysis.

A survey on isolation and detection of the casual organism of bacterial grain rot of rice was conducted during 1997-2006. In 2006, six pathogenic bacterial strains were isolated from two symptomless seed samples of rice （Oryza sativa L.） originally produced in Hainan Province and then planted in Zhejiang Province, China. They were identified as Burkholderia glumae which is the causal organism of bacterial grain rot of rice by physiological characteristics, colony morphology, pathogenicity test, Biolog, fatty acid methyl ester （FAME） analysis and RAPD-PCR compared with the four standard reference strains. It is confirmed that there is the infection of B. glumae in so-called ＇health looking seeds＇.

The yield ratios of neutron-proton(R(n/p))and^(3)H-^(3)He(R(^(3)H∕^(3)He))with reduced rapidity from 0 to 0.5 were simulated at 50 MeV/u even-even ^(36−56)Ca+^(40)Ca,even-even ^(48−78)Ni+^(58)Ni,and ^(100−139)Sn(every third isotopes)+112 Sn for full reduced impact parameters using the isospin-dependent quantum molecular dynamics(IQMD)*** neutron and proton density distributions and root-mean-square radii of the reaction systems were obtained using the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock model,which was used for the phase space initialization of the projectile and target in *** defined the unified neutron skin thickness asΔRnp=^(1∕2) n−^(1∕2)p,which was negative for neutron-deficient *** unifiedΔRnp values for nuclei with the same relative neutron excess from different isotopic chains were nearly equal,except for extreme neutron-rich isotopes,which is a type of scaling *** yield ratios of the three isotopic chain-induced reactions,which depended on the reduced impact parameter and unified neutron skin thickness,were *** results showed that both R(n/p)and R(^(3)H∕^(3)He)decreased with a reduced impact parameter for extreme neutron-deficient isotopes;however,they increased with reduced impact parameters for extreme neutron-rich isotopes,and increased with theΔRnp of the projectiles for all reduced impact *** addition,a scaling phenomenon was observed betweenΔR np and the yield ratios in peripheral colli-sions from different isotopic chain projectiles(except for extreme neutron-rich isotopes).Thus,R(n/p)and R(^(3)H∕^(3)He)from peripheral collisions were suggested as experimental probes for extracting the neutron or proton skin thicknesses of non-extreme neutron-rich nuclei from different isotopic chains.

Background The prevalence of congenital diaphragmatic hernia(CDH)varies across countries,with limited information available on its epidemiology in *** study aimed to investigate the prevalence,time trends,and perinatal outcomes of CDH in China,as well as its associated malformations and potential associations with maternal and infant *** This study included all birth and CDH cases from the Chinese Birth Defects Monitoring Network between 2007 and 2019,with CDH cases classified as either isolated or *** employed the joinpoint regression model to calculate the trends of prevalence and the annual percent change,with Poisson regression used for adjusted prevalence rate ratios.A P value≤0.05 was considered statistically *** A total of 4397 CDH cases were identified among 24,158,029 births in the study period,yielding prevalence rates of 1.82,1.13 and 0.69 per 10,000 for overall,isolated,and associated CDH,*** prevalence of each type of CDH increased over *** prevalence of overall CDH varied significantly by infant sex(male ***,1.91/10,000 vs.1.63/10,000),maternal residence(urban ***,2.13/10,000 vs.1.45/10,000),maternal age(lies were the most common malformations associated with *** with associated CDH had a higher risk of premature birth and perinatal death than those with isolated *** The increasing prevalence and high perinatal mortality rate of CDH highlight the need for further etiological,epidemiological,and clinical studies among the Chinese population.

Large eddy simulations generally are used to predict 3D wind field characteristics in complex mountainous *** simulation boundary conditions,such as the height and length of the computational domain or the characteristics of inflow turbulence,can significantly impact the quality of *** this study,we examined these boundary conditions within the context of the mountainous terrain around a long-span cable-stayed bridge using a wind tunnel *** sizes of computational domains and turbulent incoming wind velocities were used in large eddy *** results show that when the height of the computational domain is five times greater than the height of the terrain model,there is minimal influence from the top wall on the wind field characteristics in this complex mountainous *** the length of the wake region of the computational domain has negligible effects on the wind *** in the inlet boundary reduces the length of the wake region on a leeward hill with a low slope,but has less impact on the mean wind velocity of steep hills.

Rationally designed multiporphyrinic architectures for boosting photodynamic therapy(PDT)have attracted significant attentions recently years due to their great potential for light-mediated generation of reactive oxygen ***,there is still a gap between the structure design and their PDT performance for biomedical *** tutorial review provides a historical overview on(i)the basic concept of PDT for deeply understanding the porphyrin-mediated PDT reactions,(ii)developing strategies for constructing porphyrinic architectures,like nanorings,boxes,metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),covalent-organic frameworks(COFs),vesicles,etc.,where we classified into the following three categories:multiporphyrin arrays,porphyrinic frameworks,and others porphyrin assemblies,(iii)the various application scenarios for clinical cancer therapy and antibacterial ***,the existing challenges and future perspectives on the innovation of porphyrinic architectures for clinical PDT applications are mentioned in the end ***,the porphyrinic nanomaterials with atomically precise architectures provide an ideal platform for investigating the relationship between structures and PDT outputs,design of personalized“all-in-one”theranostic agents,and the popularization and application in wider biomedical fields.

BACKGROUND:Unsustained return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC)is a critical barrier to survival in cardiac arrest *** study examined whether end-tidal carbon dioxide(ETCO_(2))and pulse oximetry photoplethysmogram(POP)parameters can be used to identify unsustained ***:We conducted a multicenter observational prospective cohort study of consecutive patients with cardiac arrest from 2013 to ***’general information,ETCO_(2),and POP parameters were collected and statistically ***:The included 105 ROSC episodes(from 80 cardiac arrest patients)comprised 51 sustained ROSC episodes and 54 unsustained ROSC *** 24-hour survival rate was significantly higher in the sustained ROSC group than in the unsustained ROSC group(29.2%vs.9.4%,P<0.05).The logistic regression analysis showed that the difference between after and before ROSC in ETCO_(2)(ΔETCO_(2))and the difference between after and before ROCS in area under the curve of POP(ΔAUCp)were independently associated with sustained ROSC(odds ratio[OR]=0.931,95%confi dence interval[95%CI]0.881-0.984,P=0.011 and OR=0.998,95%CI 0.997-0.999,P<0.001).The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve ofΔETCO_(2),ΔAUCp,and the combination of both to predict unsustained ROSC were 0.752(95%CI 0.660-0.844),0.883(95%CI 0.818-0.948),and 0.902(95%CI 0.842-0.962),***:Patients with unsustained ROSC have a poor *** combination ofΔETCO_(2) andΔAUCp showed signifi cant predictive value for unsustained ROSC.
