Combining prognostic value of serum carbohydrate antigen 19-9 and tumor size reduction ratio in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

Microstructure and mechanical properties of Co-28Cr-6Mo-0.22C investment castings by current solution treatment

This study examined the impact of current solution treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the Co-28Cr-6Mo-0.22C alloy investment *** findings reveal that the current solution treatment significantly promotes the dissolution of carbides at a lower *** optimal conditions for solution treatment are determined as a solution temperature of 1,125°C and a holding time of 5.0 *** these parameters,the size and volume fraction of precipitated phases in the investment castings are measured as6.2μm and 1.1vol.%.The yield strength,ultimate tensile strength,and total elongation of the Co-28Cr-6Mo-0.22C investment castings are 535 MPa,760 MPa,and 12.6%,*** values exceed those obtained with the conventional solution treatment at 1,200°C for 4.0 *** findings suggest a phase transformation of M_(23)C_(6)→σ+C following the current solution treatment at 1,125°C for 5.0 *** comparison,the traditional solution treatment at 1,200°C for 4.0 h leads to the formation of M_(23)C_(6)and M_(6)C *** is noteworthy that the non-thermal effect of the current during the solution treatment modifies the free energy of both the matrix and precipitation *** modification lowers the phase transition temperature of the M_(23)C_(6)→σ+C reaction,thereby facilitating the dissolution of *** a result,the current solution treatment approach achieves carbide dissolution at a lower temperature and within a significantly shorter time when compared to the traditional solution treatment methods.

目的:探讨聚焦超声消融手术(FUAS)治疗子宫腺肌病术后使用冰袋冰敷患者骶尾部减轻骶尾部疼痛的有效性。方法:选取110例采用FUAS治疗的子宫腺肌病患者为研究对象,根据患者术后是否采用骶尾部冰敷分为两组。冰敷组:术后即刻俯卧位,给予冰袋间断冰敷骶尾部;常规护理组:术后即刻俯卧位,给予常规护理。采用数字评定量表(NRS)比较两组患者术后2、6、24 h骶尾部疼痛的发生率及疼痛程度及术后24 h复查盆腔核磁共振(MRI),比较两组患者术后骶尾部水肿发生率。结果:所有研究对象均顺利完成FUAS治疗,常规护理组1例患者因术后疼痛明显给予盐酸哌替啶止痛,最终冰敷组纳入55例,常规护理组纳入54例。两组患者的一般资料、子宫腺肌病特征及FUAS治疗参数比较,差异均无统计学意义(P>0.05)。术后2、6、24 h,冰敷组骶尾部疼痛发生率及骶尾部疼痛NRS评分均低于常规护理组(P<0.05),术后冰敷组骶尾部水肿的发生率低于常规护理组(P<0.05)。结论:FUAS治疗子宫腺肌病术后即刻冰敷骶尾部可降低骶尾部疼痛和骶尾部水肿的发生率,减轻骶尾部疼痛的程度。

Three-dimensional hierarchically porous nitrogen-doped carbon from water hyacinth as selenium host for high-performance lithium-selenium batteries

Hierarchically porous nitrogen-doped carbon(HPNC) with interconnected micro-,meso-,and macropores was generated from KOH and urea etching as a carbon scaffold to infuse *** this structure,micropores confine Se as single-chain molecules,preventing the generation of higher-order polyselenides,the mesopores provide effective pathways for electrolyte diffusion and ion transport and offer sufficient void space to accommodate the volume change of Se upon lithiation/delithiation,and the doped nitrogen improves the electrical conductivity of HPNC and increases the utilization of *** applied as a scaffold for Se in a lithium-selenium battery,the Se/HPNC cathode with a large Se content of 67.6 wt% maintains a high discharge capacity of 410 mAh·g^(-1) at the 500 th cycle at1.0 C,and it demonstrates a discharge capacity as high as371 mAh·g^(-1) even at a high current density of 5.0 ***,when the current density returns to 0.2 C,the discharge capacity recovers to 527 mAh·g^(-1) with a capacity retention rate of 90.5% for the first 0.2 C,indicating the excellent structural stability of *** has significant potential for application in energy storage systems.

Splenic infarction(SI)is a rare clinical phenomenon that occurs when the blood supply to the spleen is interrupted,resulting in tissue ischemia and necrosis[1].There are many causes of SI;in adult patients,cardioembolism,hematological malignancy,and infectious disease are the most common[2].Rheumatic diseases,especially systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)and granulomatosis with polyangitis,can also lead to SI[3];however,only a few cases have been *** are currently no statistically meaningful data on the etiology of SI in *** most patients with SI can recover after conservative treatment,a small number of patients develop complications,such as splenic abscess,splenic rupture,splenic hemorrhage,and hemoperitoneum,and may even undergo splenectomy in severe cases.

Integrated Expression of the Oenococcus oeni mleA Gene in Saccharomyces cerevisiae

Malolactic enzyme is the function enzyme which catalyses the reaction for L-malate converting to L-lactic during malolactic fermentation （MLF）. In this paper, researches concerning the malolactic enzyme gene mleA cloned from a patent strain Oenococcus oeni SD-2a screened in Chinese wine and integrated expressing in Saccharomyces cerevisiae were performed in order to carry out both alcoholic fermentation （AF） and malolactic fermentation （MLF） during winemaking, with a view to achieving a better control of MLF in enology. To construct the expression plasmid named pYILmleA, cloned mleA gene, PGK1 promoter, and ADH1 terminator were ligated and inserted into integrating vector YIp5. Yeast transformants were screened on SD/-Ura and identified by auxotrophic test, mating type test, and colony PCR. Target protein was detected by SDS-PAGE and the targeted gene integrated to the chromosome was detected by dot bloting hybridization. After the transformant was cultured in SD/-Ura adding glucose （10%） and L-malate （5 648 mg L-1） for 4 d, the culture supernatant was collected and L-malate and L-lactic acid contents were detected by HPLC. 1 278-1 312 mg L-1 L-lactic acids were detected, while the comparative drop rates of L-malate were 20.18-20.85%. L-malate and L-lactic contents of the transformants showed extra significant difference and significant difference with the control ones by t-test respectively. The result indicated that the functional expression was achieved in recombinants S. cerevisiae.

Comparison of different preoperative objective nutritional indices for evaluating 30-d mortality and complications after liver transplantation

BACKGROUND The nutritional status is closely related to the prognosis of liver transplant re-cipients,but few studies have reported the role of preoperative objective nutri-tional indices in predicting liver transplant *** To compare the predictive value of various preoperative objective nutritional indicators for determining 30-d mortality and complications following liver transplantation(LT).METHODS A retrospective analysis was conducted on 162 recipients who underwent LT at our institution from December 2019 to June *** This study identified several independent risk factors associated with 30-d mor-tality,including blood loss,the prognostic nutritional index(PNI),the nutritional risk index(NRI),and the control nutritional *** 30-d mortality rate was 8.6%.Blood loss,the NRI,and the PNI were found to be independent risk factors for the occurrence of severe postoperative *** NRI achieved the highest prediction values for 30-d mortality[area under the curve(AUC)=0.861,Plications(AUC=0.643,P=0.011).Compared to those in the high NRI group,the low patients in the NRI group had lower preoperative body mass index and prealbumin and albumin levels,as well as higher alanine aminotransferase and total bilirubin levels,Model for End-stage liver Disease scores and prothrombin time(Plity and severe complications following *** NRI could be an effective tool for transplant surgeons to evaluate perioperative nutritional risk and develop relevant nutritional therapy.
