The Hubble tension persists as a challenge in *** early dark energy(EDE)models,initially considered the most promising for alleviating the Hubble tension,fall short of addressing the issue without exacerbating other tensions,such as the S_(8)*** that a negative dark matter(DM)equation of state(EoS)parameter is conducive to reduce the value of the σ_(8)parameter,we extend the axion-like EDE model in this paper by replacing the cold dark matter(CDM)with DM characterized by a constant EoS w_(dm)(referred to as WDM hereafter).We then impose constraints on this axion-like EDE extension model,along with three other models:the axion-like EDE model,ΛWDM,and Λ*** constraints are derived from a comprehensive analysis incorporating data from the Planck 2018 cosmic microwave background,baryon acoustic oscillations,and the Pantheon compilation,as well as a prior on H_(0)(i.e.H_(0)=73.04±1.04,based on the latest local measurement by Riess et al)and a Gaussianized prior on S_(8)(i.e.S_(8)=0.766±0.017,determined through the joint analysis of KID1000+BOSS+2dLenS).We find that although the new model maintains the ability to alleviate the Hubble tension to~1.4σ,it still exacerbates the S_(8)tension to a level similar to that of the axion-like EDE model.

BACKGROUND Hemorrhage,which is not a rare complication in patients with gastric cancer(GC)/gastroesophageal junction cancer(GEJC),can lead to a poor ***,no study has examined the effectiveness and safety of chemotherapy as an initial therapy for GC/GEJC patients with overt bleeding(OB).AIM To investigate the impact of OB on the survival and treatment-related adverse events(TRAEs)of GC/GEJC *** Patients with advanced or metastatic GC/GEJC who received systematic treatment at Peking University Third Hospital were enrolled in this *** score matching(PSM)analysis was *** After 1:2 PSM analysis,93 patients were assessed,including 32 patients with OB before treatment(OBBT)and 61 patients without *** disease control rate was 90.6%in the group with OBBT and 88.5%in the group without OBBT,and this difference was not statistically *** was no difference in the incidence of TRAEs between the group with OBBT and the group without *** median overall survival(mOS)was 15.2 months for patients with OBBT and 23.7 months for those without OBBT[hazard ratio(HR)=1.101,95%confidence interval(CI):0.672-1.804,log rank P=0.701].The mOS was worse for patients with OB after treatment(OBAT)than for those without OBAT(11.4 months vs 23.7 months,HR=1.787,95%CI:1.006-3.175,log rank P=0.044).CONCLUSION The mOS for GC/GEJC patients with OBBT was similar to that for those without OBBT,but the mOS for patients with OBAT was worse than that for those without OBAT.

Phospholipids, including phosphatidic acid （PA）, phosphatidylcholine （PC）, phosphatidylethanolamine （PE）, phosphatidylglycerol （PC）, phosphatidylserine （PS） and phosphoinositides, have emerged as an important class of cellular messenger molecules in various cellular and physiological processes, of which PA attracts much attention of researchers. In addition to its effect on stimulating vesicle trafficking, many studies have demonstrated that PA plays a crucial role in various signaling pathways by binding target proteins and regulating their activity and subcellular localization. Here, we summarize the functional mechanisms and target proteins underlying PA-mediated regulation of cellular signaling, development, hormonal responses, and stress responses in plants.

High-throughput lipidomic profiling provides a sensitive approach for discovering minor lipid species. By using an advance in electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrome- try, a large set of phospholipid molecular species （126 species） with high resolution were identified from Arabidopsis seedling; of them 31 species are newly identified （16 are unique in plants）, including 13 species of phosphatidic acid （PA）, nine phosphati- dylcholine, six phosphatidylinositol and three phosphatidylser- ine. Further analysis of the lipidomic profile reveals dynamics of phospholipids and distinct species alterations during seedling development. PA molecules are found at the lowest levels in imbibition and follow an increasing trend during seedling growth, while phosphatidylethanolamine （PE） molecules show the opposite pattern with highest levels at imbibition and a general decreasing trend at later stages. Of PA molecular species, 34：2-, 34：3-, 36：4, 36：5-, 38：3- and 38：4-PA increase during radicle emergence, and 34：2- and 34：3-PA reach highest levels during hypocotyl and cotyledon emergence from the seed coat. Conversely, molecular species of PE show higher levels in imbibition and decrease in later stages. These results suggest the crucial roles of specific molecular species and homeostasis of phospholipid molecules in seedling growth and provide insights into the mechanisms of how phospholipid molecules are involved in regulating plant development.

Dark Energy Phenomenon from Backreaction Effect

In this paper, we interpret the dark energy phenomenon as an averaged effect caused by small scale inhomogeneities of the universe with the use of the spatial averaged approach of Buchert. Two models are considered here,one of which assumes that the backreaction term QD and the averaged spatial Ricci scalar (R)D obey the scaling laws of the volume scale factor a D at adequately late times, and the other one adopts the ansatz that the backreaction term QD is a constant in the recent universe. Thanks to the effective geometry introduced by Larena et al. in their previous work,we confront these two backreaction models with latest type Ia supernova and Hubble parameter observations, coming out with the results that the constant backreaction model is slightly favoured over the other model and the best fitting backreaction term in the scaling backreaction model behaves almost like a constant. Also, the numerical results show that the constant backreaction model predicts a smaller expansion rate and decelerated expansion rate than the other model does at redshifts higher than about 1, and both backreaction terms begin to accelerate the universe at a redshift around 0.5.

We study electronic transport through a quantum dot （QD） with a precessing magnetic field. By using the Keldysh nonequilibrium Green function method, formulas of local density of states （LDOS） and conductance of QD are derived self-consistently. It shows that the LDOS and conductance have obvious changes with the Coulomb blockade interaction. The intensity and angle of the magnetic field or temperatures, which reflect the mesoscopic structure of the QD are derived. The superiority of this device is that the QD can be controlled easily by the magnetic field, so it is valuable to apply in generating, manipulating and probing spin state.

Background:Tuberculosis(TB)poses a severe public health challenge in China and *** study evaluated the effects of age,period,and birth cohort on reported incidence trends of TB based on population and refined the characteristics of high-risk ***:Aggregate data that reported pulmonary tuberculosis(PTB)cases from China Tuberculosis Management Information System(TBIMS)from 2006 to 2020 were used to analyze effect coefficients through the age-period-cohort(APC)model based on intrinsic estimator(IE)method,and converted them into relative risk(RR)to estimate ***:A total of 14.82 million cases of PTB were reported in China from 2006 to 2020,showing a continuous downward *** reporting rate increased with age by age group,with 70-74 years old being 2-3 times higher than that in 20-24 years *** analysis model showed that age effects were bimodal in 20-24 years old[RR=2.29,95%confidence interval(CI):1.73-3.03]and 70-74 years old(RR=1.95,95%CI:1.67-2.27),and lower than the overall average in the groups under 15 years *** results showed that the risk was higher for women under age 40 than men and higher for men over *** risk was higher in urban than in rural areas under 30 years old and slightly higher in rural than in urban between 30 and 64 years *** risk for 15-34 years old was significantly higher in the east than in other *** period effects showed a decreasing trend,and the risk was higher in rural in recent *** for cohorts born in 1961-1965 and 2001-2005,where theRR increased,the later the cohort was born,the lower the *** cohort 1926-1930 in eastern had the highest risk(RR=3.49,95%CI:2.44-4.98).Conclusions:The reported incidence of PTB continued to decline in China from 2006 to *** young(20-24 years old)and the elderly(70-74 years old)were equally at high *** were differences in the age,period and cohort effects on PTB incidence among gender,urban-rural and *** findings

AIM： To observe the relationship between ethanol-induced oxidative damage in human primary cultured hepatocytes and cytochrome P450 2E1 （CYP2E1） activity, in order to address if inhibition of CYP2E1 could attenuate ethanol- induced cellular damage. METHODS： The dose-dependent （25-100 mmol/L） and time-dependent （0-24 h） exposures of primary human cultured hepatocytes to ethanol were carried out. CYP2E1 activity and protein expression were detected by spectrophotometer and Western blot analysis respectively. Hepatotoxicity was investigated by determination of lactate dehydrogenase （LDH） and aspartate transaminase （AST） level in hepatocyte culture supernatants, as well as the intracellular formation of malondialdehyde （MDA）. RESULTS： A dose-and time-dependent response between ethanol exposure and CYP2E1 activity in human hepatocytes was demonstrated. Moreover, there was a time-dependent increase of CYP2E1 protein after 100 mmol/L ethanol exposure. Meanwhile, ethanol exposure of hepatocytes caused a time-dependent increase of cellular MDA level, LDH, and AST activities in supernatants. Furthermore, the inhibitor of CYP2E1, diallyl sulfide （DAS） could partly attenuate the increases of MDA, LDH, and AST in human hepatocytes. CONCLUSION： A positive relationship between ethanolinduced oxidative damage in human primary cultured hepatocytes and CYP2E1 activity was exhibited, and the inhibition of CYP2E1 could partly attenuate ethanol-induced oxidative damage.

BACKGROUND Diabetic kidney disease(DKD),characterized by increased urinary microalbumin levels and decreased renal function,is the primary cause of end-stage renal *** pathological mechanisms are complicated and multifactorial;Therefore,sensitive and specific biomarkers are *** exosome originate from diverse renal cells in nephron segments and partially mirror the pathological changes in the *** microRNAs(miRNAs)in urinary exosome are remark-ably stable and highly tissue-specific for the *** Type 2 diabetic mellitus(T2DM)patients were recruited from the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University and were divided into two groups:DM,diabetic pa-tients without albuminuria[urinary albumin to creatinine ratio(UACR)<30 mg/g]and DKD,diabetic patients with albuminuria(UACR≥30 mg/g).Healthy subjects were the normal control(NC)*** exosomal miR-145-5p,miR-27a-3p,and miR-29c-3p,were detected using real-time quantitative polymerase chain *** correlation between exosomal miRNAs and the clinical in-dexes was *** diagnostic values of exosomal miR-145-5p and miR-27a-3p in DKD were determined using receiver operating characteristic(ROC)*** functions of miR-145-5p were investigated by performing RESULTS Urinary exosomal expression of miR-145-5p and miR-27a-3p was more upregulated in the DKD group than in the DM group(miR-145-5p:4.54±1.45 vs 1.95±0.93,P<0.001;miR-27a-3p:2.33±0.79 vs 1.71±0.76,P<0.05)and the NC group(miR-145-5p:4.54±1.45 vs 1.55±0.83,P<0.001;miR-27a-3p:2.33±0.79 vs 1.10±0.51,P<0.001).The exosomal miR-145-5p and miR-27a-3p positively correlated with albuminuria and serum creatinine and negatively correlated with the estimated glomerular filtration ***-27a-3p was also closely related to blood glucose,gly-cosylated hemoglobin A1c,and low-density lipoprotein *** analysis revealed that miR-145-5p had a better area under the curve of 0.88[95%confidence interval(CI):0.784-0.985
