We theoretically study the Josephson effect in a quantum anomalous Hall insulator(QAHI)nanoribbon with a domain wall structure and covered by the *** anomalous Josephson current,the nonzero supercurrent at the zero superconducting phase difference,appears with the nonzero magnetization and the suitable azimuth angle of the domain *** on the configuration of the domain wall,the anomalous current peaks in the Bloch type but disappears in the Néel type because the y-component of magnetization is necessary to break symmetry to arouse the anomalous *** phase shift of the anomalous current is tunable by the magnetization,the azimuth angle,or the thickness of the domain *** introducing a bare QAHI region in the middle of the junction which is not covered by the superconductor,the anomalous Josephson effect is enhanced such that the phase shift can exceedπ.Thus,a continuous change between 0 andπjunctions is realized via regulating the configuration of the domain wall or the magnetization *** long as an s-wave superconductor is placed on the top of the QAHI with a domain wall structure,this proposal can be experimentally fabricated and useful for the phase battery or superconducting quantum bit.

We study the transport of chiral Majorana edge modes(CMEMs) in a hybrid quantum anomalous Hall insulator-topological superconductor(QAHI-TSC) system in which the TSC region contains a Josephson junction and a cavity. The Josephson junction undergoes a topological transition when the magnetic flux through the cavity passes through half-integer multiples of magnetic flux quantum. For the trivial phase, the CMEMs transmit along the QAHI-TSC interface as without magnetic flux. However, for the nontrivial phase, a zero-energy Majorana state appears in the cavity, leading to that a CMEM can resonantly tunnel through the Majorana state to a different CMEM. These findings may provide a feasible scheme to control the transport of CMEMs by using the magnetic flux and the transport pattern can be customized by setting the size of the TSC.

Effects of GLUT4 expression on insulin resistance in patients with advanced liver cirrhosis

Decreased glucose tolerance and diabetes are frequently observed in advanced liver cirrhosis patients and may be related to insulin *** transporter-4 (GLUT4),one of the most important glucose transporters,plays a key role in the development of type 2 *** order to study the mechanism of insulin resistance in liver cirrhosis patients,we measured the insulin sensitivity index and determined the GLUT4 protein and mRNA contents of skeletal muscle by Western blotting and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR),respectively,in normal people and liver cirrhosis *** results showed that the levels of glucose,insulin,and C-peptide in two liver cirrhosis groups were higher and the insulin sensitivity index lower than those of the normal control *** sensitivity of insulin may decrease with the decline of liver ***,the contents of GLUT4 protein and mRNA in patients with advanced liver cirrhosis were similar to those of normal *** conclusion,insulin resistance is observed in patients with advanced liver cirrhosis but may not be correlated with the skeletal contents of GLUT4 protein and mRNA.

Combining the radial point interpolation method （RPIM）, the dual reciprocity method （DRM） and the hybrid boundary node method （HBNM）, a dual reciprocity hybrid radial boundary node method （DHRBNM） is proposed for linear elasticity. Compared to DHBNM, RPIM is exploited to replace the moving least square （MLS） in DHRBNM, and it gets rid of the deficiency of MLS approximation, in which shape functions lack the delta function property, the boundary condition can not be applied easily and directly and it＇s computational expense is high. Besides, different approximate functions are discussed in DRM to get the interpolation property, in which the accuracy and efficiency for different basis functions are compared. Then RPIM is also applied in DRM to replace the conical function interpolation, which can greatly improve the accuracy of the present method. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the present method, DHBNM is applied for comparison, and some numerical examples of 2-D elasticity problems show that the present method is much more effective than DHBNM.

Poor adherence to standard protocols of blood pressure(BP)measurement in routine clinical practice leads to higher readings than“research-quality”*** this phenomenon exists in periodic health examinations was *** aimed to explore the concordance between BP measurements in periodic health examinations and those measured following a standard measurement *** used data from the Kailuan Study,an ongoing longitudinal cohort study in China,of which participants received biennial health examinations in health management *** addition,BPs were measured following standard protocols in a workplace-based hypertension management program nested in the Kailuan *** compared BP readings of the same person between the two settings using generalized linear mixed-effects models.A total of 3988 men(the mean age was 44.9 years)had at least two BP measurements both in health examinations and management program with a time interval between the two settings that less than 90 *** mean systolic blood pressures(SBP)and diastolic blood pressures(DBP)in health examinations were 4.2(95%CI 3.9–4.5)mm Hg and 3.3(95%CI 3.1–3.5)mm Hg higher than those in the management program,***–Altman analyses showed the wide agreement inter-vals ranging from-27.7-to 36.5-mm Hg for SBP and-18.3-to 24.7-mm Hg for *** conclusion,BP measurements in periodic health examinations were generally higher than BPs measured following a standard *** findings highlight the importance of standard BP measurement to avoid overestimation of hypertension prevalence and treatment initiation.

Dear Editor,This letter studies the bipartite consensus tracking problem for heterogeneous multi-agent systems with actuator faults and a leader's unknown time-varying control input. To handle such a problem, the continuous fault-tolerant control protocol via observer design is developed. In addition, it is strictly proved that the multi-agent system driven by the designed controllers can still achieve bipartite consensus tracking after faults occur.

The construction of metal-organic coordination clusters（MCCs） using modular secondary building units is an important method for preparing functional *** this study,two new MCCs modularly assembled from Keggin-type {SiW12O40}H4TC4A=p-tert-Butylthiacalix[4]arene(SiW12) units and thiacalixarene-supported Co4-thiacalix[4]arene(Co4-TC4A polynuclear second-building units（PSBUs,H4TC4A=p-tert-Butylthiacalix[4]arene） are *** two MCCs,abbreviated as Co4-SiW12and Co8-SiW12,were structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray *** Co4-SiW12is a supramolecular structure involving cation-anion interactions between Co4-TC4A PSBUs and ***8-SiW12features "barbell-like" shapes with two Co4-TC4A coordinatively linked to a Keggin-type SiW12unit on opposite via W-O_t-Co *** coordination of Co4-TC4A to SiW12in Co8-SiW12resulted in significantly improved photothermal conversion performances compared with Co4-SiW12and pure SiW12or ***-gap determination and photophysical analysis combined with density functional theory calculations indicated the binding mode between Co4-TC4A PSBUs and SiW12,which considerably influences the way of electron transport and the conversion ability of visible light to heat.

Objective:Robot-assisted radical prostatectomy(RARP)requires pneumoperitoneum(Pnp)and a steep head-down position that may disturb respiratory system compliance(Crs)during *** aim was to compare the effects of different degrees of neuromuscular block(NMB)on Crs with the same Pnp pressure during ***:One hundred patients who underwent RARP were enrolled and randomly allocated to a deep or moderate NMB group with 50 patients in each *** was administered to both groups:in the moderate NMB group to maintain 1–2 responses to train-of-four(TOF)stimulation;and in the deep NMB group to maintain no response to TOF stimulation and 1–2 responses in the post-tetanic *** pressure in both groups was 10 mm Hg(1 mm Hg=133.3 Pa).Peak inspiratory pressure(Ppeak),mean pressure(Pmean),Crs,and airway resistance(Raw)were recorded after anesthesia induction and at 0,30,60,and 90 min of Pnp and *** space conditions were evaluated after the procedure on a 4-point ***:Immediately after the Pnp,Ppeak,Pmean,and Raw significantly increased,while Crs decreased and persisted during Pnp in both *** results did not significantly differ between the two groups at any of the time *** was no difference in surgical space conditions between *** movements occurred in 14 cases in the moderate NMB group and in one case in the deep NMB group,and all occurred during obturator lymphadenectomy.A significant difference between the two groups was ***:Under the same Pnp pressure in RARP,deep and moderate NMBs resulted in similar changes in Crs,and in other respiratory mechanics and surgical space ***,deep NMB significantly reduced body movements during surgery.
