A ＂green＂ and quick analytical method for complex compounds was developed for simultaneous determination of tyrosine （Tyr） and dopamine （DA） in urine samples in this paper. The three-way responsive data recorded by excitation-emission matrix fluorescence （EEM） spectrometer was analyzed using second-order calibration methods based on both parallel factor analysis （PARAFAC） and self- weighted alternating trilinear decomposition （SWATLD） algorithms. The EEM spectra of the analytes were overlapped with the background in urine samples. However the second-order advantage of both PARAFAC and SWATLD methods was exploited, even in the presence of unknown interferences and the satisfactory results can be obtained. Furthermore, the linear ranges of Tyr and DA were determined to be 0.042-6.42 p.g/mL and 0.18-4.43/ug]mL, respectively, and the accuracies of both methods were validated by the analytical figures of merit （FOM）.

Quantum information masking（QIM） is a crucial technique for protecting quantum data from being accessed by local subsystems. In this paper, we introduce a novel method for achieving1-uniform QIM in multipartite systems utilizing a Fourier matrix. We further extend this approach to construct an orthogonal array with the aid of a Hadamard matrix, which is a specific type of Fourier matrix. This allows us to explore the relationship between 2-uniform QIM and orthogonal arrays. Through this framework, we derive two distinct 2-uniform quantum states,enabling the 2-uniform masking of original information within multipartite ***, we prove that the maximum number of quantum bits required for achieving a2-uniformly masked state is 2~n-1, and the minimum is 2n-1+ 3. Moreover, our scheme effectively demonstrates the rich quantum correlations between multipartite systems and has potential application value in quantum secret sharing.

A method using HPLC-DAD coupled with second-order calibration was developed to simultaneously determine metronidazole and tinidazole in plasma samples in this paper. The second-order calibration method based on APTLD （alternating penalty trilinear decomposition） algorithm was proposed to analyze the three-way HPLC-DAD data from both standard and prediction samples, which makes it possible that calibration can be performed even in the presence of unknown interferences with a simple and green chromatographic condition and short analysis time. The results showed that good recoveries were obtained although the chromatographic and spectral profiles of the analytes of interest as well as background were partially overlapped with each other in plasma samples.

Background Invasive aspergillosis （IA）, which is mainly caused by Aspergillus fumigatus （A. fumigatus）, is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in immunocompromised patients. Despite considerable progress in currently available antifungals the mortality still remains high in critically ill patients. U0126 which is a highly selective inhibitor of MEK1 and MEK2 in the RAF/MEK/ERK pathway in mammalian cells has been demonstrated to have an anti-proliferative role in cancer cells. The purpose of this study was to explore the role of U0126 on growth inhibition and activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases （MAPKs） in A. fumigatus. Methods Germination percentage and hyphae growth in A. fumigatus treated with U0126 were observed and compared with untreated controls. Western blotting analysis was used to detect changes in activation of SakA, MpkA and MpkB. Results U0126 inhibited germination and hyphae growth in A. fumigatus and enhanced the phosphorylation of SakA and MpkA under oxidative stress. U0126 at 10 pmol/L did not block the activation of MpkB during nitrogen starvation stress. Conclusion U0126 shows promise as an antifungal candidate and the MAPK pathway may be a possible antifungal drug target for A. fumigatus.

By encapsulating nanoscale particles of goethite(α-FeO(OH)),hydrous ceric oxide(CeO_(2)·H_(2)O,HCO)and silver nanoparticles(AgNPs)in the pores of polystyrene anion exchanger D201,a novel nanocomposite FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201 was prepared for the effective removal of arsenic from *** isotherm study shows that FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201 has excellent adsorption performance for As(III)and As(V),with an increased adsorption capacity of As(III)to 40.12 mg/g compared to that of 22.03 mg/g by the composite adsorbent without AgNPs(FeO(OH)-HCO-D201).The adsorption kinetics data showed that the sorption rate of FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201 for As(III)is less than that for As(V),and the adsorption of As(III)and As(V)were consistent with the pseudo-second-order model and the pseudofirst-order model,*** or basic conditions are favored for the adsorption of As(III/V)by FeO(OH)-*** with nitrate/chloride/bicarbonate,sulfate/silicate/phosphate showed more remarkable inhibition of arsenic removal by FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201,whereas natural organic matter showed no interference to the arsenic *** As(V)adsorption involved different interactions such as electrostatic attraction and surface complexation,while the adsorption of As(III)involved the part oxidization of As(III)to As(V)and the simultaneous adsorption of As(III)and As(V).In addition to the Ce(IV)in CeO_(2)·H_(2)O acted as an oxidant,the synergistic effect ofα-FeO(OH)and AgNPs also contributed to the oxidization of As(III)to As(V).Moreover,the reusable property suggested that this FeO(OH)-HCO-Ag-D201 nanocomposite has great potential for arsenic-contaminated water purification.

Aim:Neoplastic meningitis(NM)from solid tumors is an advanced malignancy with poor *** chemotherapy is a reliable treatment,and we have obtained some experiences in the treatment of NM with intrathecal dexamethasone and methotrexate(IT DXM and MTX).Methods:Retrospective study of 23 patients with NM from lung cancer(n=11),breast cancer(n=3),gastric cancer(n=1),malignant melanoma(n=1),unknown cancer(n=7)was *** these patients,eight received IT DXM and MTX treatment,and 15 patients were placed into a palliative care *** survival(OS)was compared,and the patients’characteristics,symptoms,and some laboratory examinations were analyzed to find the risk factors affecting ***:OS of IT DXM and MTX group was significantly longer than that of the palliative care group(P=0.01).The median survival(MS)of palliative care group was 7.53 weeks(5.50-9.57;n=15),and of the IT DXM and MTX group,28.63 weeks(12.50-44.75;n=8);IT DXM and MTX prolonged the OS of NM patients(regression coefficient=−2.923),with odds ratio(OR)being 0.054(0.09-0.323).Spinal nerves damage decreased the OS(regression coefficient=1.595),with OR being 4.928(1.382-17.579).Conclusion:IT DXM and MTX have prolonged the patients’MS,which could be used as a fundamental treatment of *** of induction treatment should be flexible and individualized,and induction treatment could restart when central nervous system *** with spinal nerves damage are apt to live shorter.

Parkinson’s disease is the second most common progressive neurodegenerative disorder,and few reliable biomarkers are available to track disease *** proteins,DNA,mRNA,and lipids carried by exosomes reflect intracellular changes,and thus can serve as biomarkers for a variety of *** this study,we investigated alterations in the protein content of plasma exosomes derived from patients with Parkinson’s disease and the potential therapeutic roles of these proteins in Parkinson’s *** a tandem mass tag-based quantitative proteomics approach,we characterized the proteomes of plasma exosomes derived from individual patients,identified exosomal protein signatures specific to patients with Parkinson’s disease,and identified N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase as a differentially expressed protein.N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase expression levels in exosomes from the plasma of patients and healthy controls were validated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and western *** results demonstrated that the exosomal N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase concentration was not only lower in Parkinson’s disease,but also decreased with increasing Hoehn-yahr stage,suggesting that N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase could be used to rapidly evaluate Parkinson’s disease ***,western blot and immunohistochemistry analysis showed that N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase levels were markedly reduced both in cells treated with 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium and cells overexpressingα-synuclein compared with control ***,N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase overexpression significantly increased cell viability and inhibitedα-synuclein expression in 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium-treated *** together,our findings demonstrate for the first time that exosomal N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase may serve as a biomarker for Parkinson’s disease diagnosis,and that N-acetyl-alpha-glucosaminidase may reduceα-synuclein expression and 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium-induced n

Garnet lithium lanthanum zirconium oxide(Li7La3Zr2O12,LLZO) is a benchmark solid-state electrolyte（SSE） material receiving considerable attention owing to its high conductivity and chemical stability against Li *** its electro-chemo-mechanical failure mechanisms have been much investigated,the equivocal roles of grain boundary strength and grain size of LLZO remain under-explored,hindering further performance *** we decoupled the effects of grain size and grain boundary strength of polycrystalline LLZO via the combination of electrochemical kinetics and the cohesive zone *** discovered that the disintegration of LLZO is initiated by the accumulation of local displacements,which strongly relates to the changes in both grain size and grain boundary ***,variations in grain boundary strength affect the diffusion and propagation pathways of damage,while the failure of LLZO is determined by the grain *** LLZO grains facilitate transgranular damage under low grain boundary strength,which can alter local chemo-mechanics within the bulk of LLZO,leading to more extensive damage *** results showcase the structure optimization pathways by preferentially controlling the growth of lithium dendrites at grain boundaries and their penetration in garnet-type SSE.
