Objective:To evaluate the effect of myricetin on ovalbumin(OVA)-induced allergic rhinitis in ***:Mice were sensitized and challenged using OVA(5%,500 mL)intraperitoneally and intranasally,respectively,on an alternative day for 14 days,followed by administration of myricetin(50,100,and 200 mg/kg)till day *** symptoms,biochemical parameters,protein expressions,and histopathology were ***:OVA-induced increased nasal symptoms including rubbing,sneezing,and discharge were significantly reduced by myricetin(100and 200 mg/kg)(Pduced histopathological abberations in the nasal mucosa was markedly ameliorated by myricetin treatment(Pduced allergic rhinitis via regulating Th1/Th2 balance.

Potato virus M(PVM) is one of the common and economically important potato viruses in potato-growing regions worldwide. To investigate and control this viral disease, efficient and specific detection techniques are needed. In this study, PVM virions were purified from infected potato plants and used as the immunogen to produce hybridomas secreting PVM-specific monoclonal antibodies(MAbs). Four highly specific and sensitive murine MAbs, i.e., 1 E1, 2 A5, 8 A1 and 17 G8 were prepared through a conventional hybridoma technology. Using these four MAbs, we have developed an antigen-coated plate(ACP)-ELISA, a dot-ELISA and a Tissue print-ELISA for detecting PVM infection in potato plants and tubers. PVM could be detected in infected potato plant tissue crude extracts diluted at 1:10 240(w/v, g mL^(–1)) by the dot-ELISA or at 1:163 840(w/v, g mL^(–1)) by the ACP-ELISA. The Tissue print-ELISA is the quickest and easiest assay among the three established serological assays and is more suitable for onsite large-scale sample detection. Detection results of the field-collected samples showed that PVM is currently widespread in the Yunnan and the Heilongjiang provinces in China. The field sample test results of the developed serological assays were supported by the results from RT-PCR and DNA sequencing. We consider that the newly established ACP-ELISA, dot-ELISA and Tissue print-ELISA can benefit PVM detection in potato plant and tuber samples and field epidemiological studies of PVM. These assays can also facilitate the production of virus-free seed potatoes and breeding for PVM-resistant potato cultivars, leading to the successful prevention of this potato viral disease.

In order to capture stable and realistic microscopic features of fluid surface, a surface tension and adhesion method based on implicit incompressible SPH （smoothed particle hydrodynamics） is presented in this paper. It gives a steady and fast tension model and can solve the problem of not considering adhesion. Molecular cohesion and surface minimization are considered for surface tension, and adhesion is added to show the microscopic characteristics of the surface. To simulate surface tension and adhesion stably and efficiently, the surface tension and adhesion model is integrated to an implicit incompressible SPH method. The experimental results show that the method can better simulate surface features in a variety of scenarios compared with previous methods and meanwhile ensure stability and efficiency.

Myelin-associated glycoprotein（MAG） inhibits the growth of neurites from nerve cells. Extraction and purification of MAG require complex operations; therefore, we attempted to determine whether commercially available MAG-Fc can replace endogenous MAG for research purposes. Immunofluorescence using specific antibodies against MAG, Nogo receptor（NgR） and paired immunoglobulin-like receptor B（PirB） was used to determine whether MAG-Fc can be endocytosed by neuro-2a cells. In addition, neurite outgrowth of neuro-2a cells treated with different doses of MAG-Fc was evaluated. Enzyme linked immunosorbent assays were used to measure RhoA activity. Western blot assays were conducted to assess Rho-associated protein kinase（ROCK） phosphorylation. Neuro-2a cells expressed NgR and PirB, and MAG-Fc could be endocytosed by binding to NgR and PirB. This activated intracellular signaling pathways to increase RhoA activity and ROCK phosphorylation, ultimately inhibiting neurite outgrowth. These findings not only verify that MAG-Fc can inhibit the growth of neural neurites by activating RhoA signaling pathways, similarly to endogenous MAG, but also clearly demonstrate that commercial MAG-Fc is suitable for experimental studies of neurite outgrowth.

The partial oxidation of butane (POB) to syngas over nickel supported catalysts was first investigated with a flow-reactor, TG and UVRRS. The NiO/gamma -Al2O3 is the most suitable for the POB among NiO/gamma -Al2O3, NiO/MgO and NiO/SiO2. And the reaction performance of the NiO/gamma -Al2O3 shows little difference from those of the nickel supported catalysts modified by alkali metal oxide and rare-earth metal oxide. However, modification with Li2O and La2O3 can suppress carbon-deposition of the NiO/gamma -Al2O3, which contains graphite-like species during the POB reaction.
