Viscosity and structure of CaO-BaO-SiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3)-based mold slags for continuous casting of high titanium steel with different Tio2 absorption

The effect of TiO_(2) absorption into two different CaO-BaO-SiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3)-based mold slags from the steel plant on the viscosity,melting performance and microstructure of slags was investigated through the measurement of the viscosity-temperature relationship,melting temperature and Raman *** parameter of the number of non-bridging oxygen per tetrahedrally-coordinated atom(NBO/T)was also calculated to explain the microstructure variation of molten slags with different TiO_(2) *** variation of the actual slag consumption and the depth of the liquid slag in mold was explained through the comparison of the viscosity and the melting temperature of two different *** viscosity of mold slags(basicity=0.6)decreased from 1.1 to 0.68 Pa s with the increase in the Ti0_(2) absorption from 0 to 10%,while that of slags(basicity=0.7)decreased from 0.76 to 0.56 Pa s with the Ti0_(2) absorption from 0 to 6%.The activation energy of both two groups of slags had the tendency to decrease with the increasing TiO_(2) *** network structure of both two groups of slags measured by the Raman spectra showed that the fraction of complex structure units(Q^(1),Q^(2),Q^(3) and A1-O-Al)decreased and simple structure units(Al-O-and Q^(0))increased with the increase in TiO_(2) ***/T also increased with the increase in the TiO2 absorption,indicating that the absorption of TiO_(2) into slags resulted in the destruction of silicate/aluminate ***,the absorption of TiO_(2) into the current CaO-BaO-SiO_(2)-Al_(2)O_(3) mold slags decreased the degree of polymerization of these slags and then led to the decrease of viscosity.

Morphology and valence state evolution of Cu:Unraveling the impact on nitric oxide electroreduction

Ammonia(NH3)serves as a critical component in the fertilizer industry and fume gas ***,the conventional NH3production process,namely the Haber-Bosch process,leads to considerable energy consumption and waste gas *** address this,electrocatalytic nitric oxide reduction reaction(NORR)has emerged as a promising strategy to bridge NH3consumption to NH3production,harnessing renewable electricity for a sustainable ***(Cu)stands out as a prominent electrocatalyst for NO reduction,given its exceptional NH3yield and ***,a crucial aspect that remains insufficiently explored is the effects of morphology and valence states of Cu on the NORR *** this investigation,we synthesized CuO nanowires(CuO-NF)and Cu nanocubes(Cu-NF)as cathodes through an in situ growth ***,CuO-NF exhibited an impressive NH3yield of 0.50±0.02 mg cm^(-2)h^(-1)at-0.6 V *** hydrogen electrode(RHE)with faradaic efficiency of29,68%±1,35%,surpassing that of Cu-NF(0.17±0.01 mg cm^(-2)h^(-1),16.18%±1.40%).Throughout the electroreduction process,secondary cubes were generated on the CuO-NF surface,preserving their nanosheet cluster morphology,sustained by an abundant supply of subsurface oxygen(s-O)even after an extended duration of 10 h,until s-O depletion ***,Cu-NF exhibited inadequate s-O content,leading to rapid crystal collapse within the same *** distinctive current-potential relationship,akin to a volcano-type curve,was attributed to distinct NO hydrogenation *** Tafel analysis revealed the exchange current density(i0)and standard heterogeneous rate constant(k0)for CuO-NF,yielding 3.44×10^(-6)A cm^(-2)and 3.77×10^(-6)cm^(-2)s^(-1)when NORR was driven by *** findings revealed the potential of CuO-NF for NO reduction and provided insights into the intricate interplay between crystal morphology,valence states,and electrochemical performance.

Objective:Premature rupture of membranes(PROM)is a common pregnancy disorder that is closely associated with structural weakening of fetal *** have found that formyl peptide receptor 1(FPR1)activates inflammatory pathways and amniotic epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT),stimulates collagen degradation,and leads to membrane weakening and membrane *** purpose of this study was to investigate the anti-inflammatory and EMT inhibitory effects of FPR1 antagonist(BOC-MLF)to provide a basis for clinical prevention of ***:The relationship between PROM,FPR1,and EMT was analyzed in human fetal membrane tissue and plasma samples using Western blotting,PCR,Masson staining,and elISA ***(LPS)was used to establish a fetal membrane inflammation model in pregnant rats,and BOC-MLF was used to treat the LPS rat *** detected interleukin(IL)-6 in blood from the rat hearts to determine whether the inflammatory model was successful and whether the anti-inflammatory treatment was *** used electron microscopy to analyze the structure and collagen expression of rat fetal ***:Western blotting,PCR and Masson staining indicated that the expression of FPR1 was significantly increased,the expression of collagen was decreased,and EMT appeared in *** rat model indicated that LPS caused the collapse of fetal membrane epithelial cells,increased intercellular gaps,and decreased ***-MLF promoted an increase in fetal membrane collagen,inhibited EMT,and reduced the weakening of fetal ***:The expression of FPR1 in the fetal membrane of PROM was significantly increased,and EMT of the amniotic membrane was ***-MLF can treat inflammation and inhibit amniotic EMT.

BACKGROUND Cronkhite-Canada syndrome(CCS)is a rare disease of unknown *** optimal treatment for CCS remains *** with corticosteroids is considered the mainstay treatment because of its high efficacy,but the therapeutic strategy for steroid-resistant CCS is not yet *** SUMMARY This is the case of an 81-year-old woman who was diagnosed with *** her severe diarrhea,nausea,vomiting,and hypoproteinemia,hormone therapy(40 mg/d)was administered,and the symptoms improved within 1 *** 3 mo,the patient had no obvious *** polyps were significantly reduced on review gastroscopy and colonoscopy,thus hormone reduction gradually *** hormone level was maintained at 10 mg/d after 6 *** the age of the patient and the side effects of hormones,the patient had no obvious ***,hormone drugs were discontinued,and mesalazine was administered orally at 3 g/*** patient's symptoms continued to improve after a follow-up of 5 *** Corticosteroids and mesalazine are potential treatment options for CCS.

On Penalized Goal-Reaching Probability Minimization with a Common Shock for an AAI

The authors consider a robust optimal reinsurance and investment problem in a risk model with two dependent classes of insurance business for an Ambiguity-Averse insurer(AAI). The insurer aims to minimize the goal-reaching probability that the value of the wealth process reaches a low barrier before a high goal. Using the stochastic control approach based on the Hamilton-JacobiBellman(HJB) equation, the authors derive the robust optimal reinsurance and investment strategies,as well as the corresponding value function. The authors conclude that the robust optimal investmentreinsurance strategy coincides with the one without model ambiguity, but the value function differs. As a consequence, ignoring model uncertainty leads to significant value function loss for the AAI. Besides,it is worth noting that if the insurer has only one business, the sum of the degenerated value function and the one of(Luo, et al., 2019) is equal to 1 both for ambiguity and ambiguity-neutral. Finally,numerical examples are given to illustrate our results.

Research on feed-pulse collaborative control method in micro-electrical discharge machining

Reducing the short-circuit rate and increasing the effective discharge rate are important targets for improving the servo control effect of micro-electrical discharge machining(micro-EDM),as these two indicators are closely related to the machining efficiency and *** this study,a feed-pulse collaborative control(FPCC)method is proposed for micro-EDM based on two dimensions(space and time).In the spatial dimension,a feed control strategy with a discharge holding process is ***,in the time dimension,a forward-looking pulse control strategy is adopted,in which the pulse interval is adjusted based on a sequence analysis of feed commands and discharge *** experiments are carried out to determine the key parameters used in this method,including the discharge holding threshold and pulse interval adjustment value(T_(off_(adj))).The feed smoothness and discharge sufficiency analyses of the experimental results show that compared to the traditional double threshold average voltage method,the FPCC method reduces the number of long-distance retreats by 64%and improves the effective discharge time by 40%.

Profile grinding is the most crucial method for the ultra-precision machining of special-shaped ***,profile grinding produces a unique machining profile,and many random factors in the machining process lead to complex surface *** this study,the structural and probabilistic characteristics of the profile grinding of a special-shaped surface were analyzed,and a probabilistic algorithm for the forming and 3D characterization of special-shaped surfaces under profile grinding was *** forming process of a GH738 blade tenon tooth surface was considered as an example to demonstrate the *** comparison results showed that the simulation results had similar surface characteristics to the measurement results,and the relative error range of the 3D roughness parameter was 0.21%–19.76%,indicating an accurate prediction and characterization of the complex special-shaped surface under the action of multiple factors.

It remains as a challenge for realizing efficient photo-responsive catalysts towards largescale degradation of organic pollutants under natural *** work reports a new pore engineering strategy for creating ultra-porous g-C_(3)N_(4) micro-tubes with an unprecedentedly high specific surface area of 152.96 m^(2)/*** is mainly associated with releasing internal vapor pressure in the autoclave where the hydrothermal treatment of the urea/melamine mixture is *** by microscopic observation,porosity measurement and spectroscopic characterization,it is found that releasing the pressure at halfway of hydrothermal process is vital for forming exfoliated rod-like precursors and the de-aggregation of these rods presents substantial benefits on the production of mesopores on g-C_(3)N_(4) microtubes during the calcination of *** offers a large number of reactive sites required by photocatalytic *** these micro-tubes with Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(X) nanosheets via electrostatic interaction yields a 1D/2D heterojunction with a close interfacial *** addition of metallically conductive Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(X) nanosheets accelerates the separation between electrons and holes,and also enhances the light *** these merits of structural design lead to forming a group of highly efficient catalysts demonstrating an excellent photocatalytic degradation rate of k=0.0560 min^(-1)for RhB dyes under 100 mW/cm~2 visible light radiation that micks sunlight *** laboratory valuation is further supported by an outdoor test that shows a fast degradation rate of 0.0744 min^(-1)under natural sunlight.
