Potential application of let-7a antagomir in injured peripheral nerve regeneration

Neurotrophic factors,particularly nerve growth factor,enhance neuronal ***,the in vivo applications of nerve growth factor are largely limited by its intrinsic disadvantages,such as its short biological half-life,its contribution to pain response,and its inability to cross the blood-brain *** that let-7(human miRNA)targets and regulates nerve growth factor,and that let-7 is a core regulator in peripheral nerve regeneration,we evaluated the possibilities of let-7 application in nerve *** this study,anti-let-7a was identified as the most suitable let-7 family molecule by analyses of endogenous expression and regulatory relationship,and functional ***-7a antagomir demonstrated biosafety based on the results of in vivo safety assessments and it entered into the main cell types of the sciatic nerve,including Schwann cells,fibroblasts and *** of hydrogel effectively achieved controlled,localized,and sustained delivery of let-7a ***,let-7a antagomir was integrated into chitosan conduit to construct a chitosan-hydrogel scaffold tissue-engineered nerve graft,which promoted nerve regeneration and functional recovery in a rat model of sciatic nerve *** study provides an experimental basis for potential in vivo application of let-7a.

Design and analysis of firewall-penetrated scheme based on trusted host

On the basis of various firewall-penetrated technologies, a novel firewall-penetrated technology based on trusted host, which can realize the communication between penetrating host and protected host, is proposed in this paper. Meanwhile, the firewall-penetrated evaluating model and its formalized statement is also proposed by quantizing penetrated level, penetrated quality, and penetrated hiding. Finally, the fuewall-penetrated technology based on trusted host is analyzed under the fuewall-penetrated evaluating model, and the experimental results show that this technology has obvious penetrating effect and high penetrating quality.

Rice(Oryza sativa L.)isa staplecropforhalf theworld's Ipopulation and an important contributor to world food *** discovery and application of cytoplasmic male sterility(CMS)and fertility restoration(Rf)genetic materials have allowed the production of three-line hybrid rice(Kim and Zhang,2018),successfully harnessing heterosis in *** major CMS and/or Rf systems are commonly used to produce three-line hybrid rice:Wild Abortive(CMS-WA),Boroll(CMS-BT),and Honglian(CMS-HL).Among these,the CMS-WA system is the most widely employed(Sattari et al.,2007;Chen and Liu,2014;Huang et al.,2014).Several Rf genes from different CMS systems have been cloned in rice,including Rf4 for CMS-WA(Tang et al.,2014),Rf1a and Rf1b for CMS-BT(Wang et al.,2006),Rf5,and Rf6 for CMS-HL(Huet al.,2012;Huang et al.,2015),and Rf19for CMS-FA(Jiang et al.,2022).A molecular mechanism and evolutionary model for the CMS-WA gene WA352c have also been reported(Luo et al.,2013;Tang et al.,2017).

Homogeneous Einstein-like metrics on symmetric spaces

In this paper, we study homogeneous Einstein-like metrics on the compact irreducible symmetric space M, which is not isometric to a compact Lie group and has rank greater than 1. Whenever there exists a closed proper subgroup G′ of G = Isom_0(M) acting transitively on M, we find all the G′-invariant A-metrics and B-metrics on M. More precisely, we prove that G′-invariant metrics on M must be A-metrics, and G′-invariant B-metrics on M are always Einstein.

Statistical Gauge Theory for Relativistic Finite Density Problems

A relativistic quantum field theory is presented for finite density problems based on the principle of locality. It is shown that, in addition to the conventional ones, a local approach to the relativistic quantum field theories at both zero and finite densities consistent with the violation of Bell-like inequalities should contain and provide solutions to at least three additional problems, namely, i) the statistical gauge invariance; ii) the dark components of the local observables; and iii) the fermion statistical blocking effects, based upon an asymptotic nonthermal ensemble. An application to models is presented to show the importance of the discussions.

The yNEV stellar evolution and oscillation code

We have developed a new stellar evolution and oscillation code yNEV, which calculates the structures and evolutions of stars, taking into account hydrogen and helium burning. A nonlocal turbulent convection theory and an updated over- shoot mixing model are optional in this code. The yNEV code can evolve low- and intermediate-mass stars from the pre-main sequence to a thermally pulsing asymptotic branch giant or white dwarf. The yNEV oscillation code calculates the eigenfrequen- cies and eigenfunctions of the adiabatic oscillations for a given stellar structure. The input physics and numerical scheme adopted in the code are introduced. Examples of solar models, stellar evolutionary tracks of low- and intermediate-mass stars with different convection theories （i.e. mixing-length theory and nonlocal turbulent con- vection theory）, and stellar oscillations are shown.

Model simulation for periodic double-peaked outbursts in blazar OJ 287: binary black hole plus lighthouse effect

The mechanism of formation for double-peaked optical outbursts observed in blazar OJ 287 is studied. It is shown that they could be explained in terms of a light- house effect for superluminal optical knots ejected from the center of the galaxy that move along helical magnetic fields. It is assumed that the orbital motion of the secondary black hole in the supermassive binary black hole system induces the 12-year quasi-periodicity in major optical outbursts by the interaction with the disk around the primary black hole. This interaction between the secondary black hole and the disk of the primary black hole （e.g. tidal effects or magnetic coupling） excites or injects plas- mons （or relativistic plasmas plus magnetic field） into the jet which form superluminal knots. These knots are assumed to move along helical magnetic field lines to produce the optical double-peaked outbursts by the lighthouse effect. The four double-peaked outbursts observed in 1972, 1983, 1995 and 2005 are simulated using this model. It is shown that such lighthouse models are quite plausible and feasible for fitting the double-flaring behavior of the outbursts. The main requirement may be that in OJ 287 there exists a rather long （～40-60 pc） highly collimated zone, where the lighthouse effect occurs.

Non-ballistic motion and precessing helical trajectory in quasar NRAO 150

NRAO 150 is a very special radio quasar in which prominent non-ballistic superluminal motion has been observed in its inner-jet region. We apply model-fittings to the kinematics of the superluminal knots（trajectory, distance from the core and apparent velocity） in terms of a helical precessing jet-nozzle *** cases are considered in which the angle between the jet axis and the line of sight is assumed to be 6？,3？, 1？, 0.6？ and 0.12？, respectively. It is shown that the superluminal components have intrinsic acceleration in the innermost regions（≤0.2 mas from the core）. The phenomenon of precessing nozzle/trajectory can be understood on the basis of relativistic magnetohydrodynamic theories for relativistic jets.
