The problem of art forgery and infringement is becoming increasingly prominent,since diverse self-media contents with all kinds of art pieces are released on the Internet every *** art paintings,object detection and localization provide an efficient and ef-fective means of art authentication and copyright ***,the acquisition of a precise detector requires large amounts of ex-pensive pixel-level *** alleviate this,we propose a novel weakly supervised object localization(WSOL)with background su-perposition erasing(BSE),which recognizes objects with inexpensive image-level ***,integrated adversarial erasing(IAE)for vanilla convolutional neural network(CNN)dropouts the most discriminative region by leveraging high-level semantic ***,a background suppression module(BSM)limits the activation area of the IAE to the object region through a self-guidance ***,in the inference phase,we utilize the refined importance map(RIM)of middle features to obtain class-agnostic loc-alization *** experiments are conducted on paintings,CUB-200-2011 and ILSVRC to validate the effectiveness of our BSE.

Aquatic vegetations widely exist in natural rivers and play an essential role in the evolution of the water environment and ecosystem by changing the river’s hydrodynamic characteristics and transporting sediments and *** reality,most aquatic vegetations are highly flexible,which invalidates the“rigid-cylinder”assumption widely adopted in many *** explore the dynamics of submerged flexible vegetation in open-channel flows and its feedback to turbulent flow structures,numerical simulations are carried out using an in-house fluid-structure interaction(FSI)*** the simulations,the geometry of vegetation plants is grid-resolved,the turbulent flow is simulated using the large eddy simulation(LES),the dynamics of the flexible plants are solved using the vector form intrinsic finite element(VFIFE)method,and the turbulent flow and the plants are two-way coupled using the immersed boundary(IB)*** dynamic responses of the flexible vegetation with different plant flexibility,spacing,and submergence are *** results show that flexible plants are subjected to complex flow-induced vibrations(FIVs)rather than static *** FIV involves both streamwise and cross-flow motions driven by the small-scale vortex shedding around the plants and the large-scale Kelvin-Helmholtz(K-H)vortices developed in the vegetation canopy *** vegetations exhibit pulsive wave motion of different patterns in relatively long and narrow open *** with the open-channel flows with static plants with equivalent bending deformation,the dynamic responses of flexible plants may increase the turbulent Reynolds stress of the open-channel flow by 70%–100%and increase the invasion depth of the K-H vortices by 30%–50%.

Preparation of Co/S co-doped carbon catalysts for excellent methylene blue degradation

S and Co co-doped carbon catalysts were prepared via pyrolysis of MOF-71 and thiourea mixtures at 800℃at a mass ratio of MOF-71 to thiourea of 1:0.1 to effectively activate peroxymonosulfate(PMS)for methylene blue(MB)*** effects of two different mixing routes were identified on the MB degradation ***,the catalyst obtained by the alcohol solvent evaporation(MOF-AEP)mixing route could degrade 95.60%MB(50 mg/L)within 4 min(degradation rate:K=0.78 min^(-1)),which was faster than that derived from the direct grinding method(MOF-DGP,80.97%,K=0.39 min^(-1)).X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy revealed that the Co-S content of MOF-AEP(43.39at%)was less than that of MOF-DGP(54.73at%),and the proportion of C-S-C in MOF-AEP(13.56at%)was higher than that of MOF-DGP(10.67at%).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption energy of Co for PMS was -2.94 eV when sulfur was doped as C-S-C on the carbon skeleton,which was higher than that when sulfur was doped next to cobalt in the form of Co-S bond(-2.86 eV).Thus,the C-S-C sites might provide more contributions to activate PMS compared with ***,the degradation parameters,including pH and MOF-AEP dosage,were ***,radical quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)measurements revealed that ^(1)O_(2)might be the primary catalytic species,whereas·O~(2-)might be the secondary one in degrading MB.

The cGAS-STIng pathway plays a crucial role in the innate immune system by detecting mislocalized double-stranded DNA(dsDNA) in the cytoplasm and triggering downstream signal transduction. Understanding the mechanisms by which cGAS and STIng operate is vital for gaining insights into the biology of this pathway. This review provides a detailed examination of the structural features of cGAS and STIng proteins, with a particular emphasis on their activation and inhibition mechanisms. We also discuss the novel discovery of STIng functioning as an ion channel. Furthermore, we offer an overview of key agonists and antagonists of cGAS and STIng, shedding light on their mechanisms of action. Deciphering the molecular intricacies of the cGAS-STIng pathway holds significant promise for the development of targeted therapies aimed at maintaining immune homeostasis within both innate and adaptive immunity.

Electrical contact interfaces, integral to devices such as connectors, switches, and conductive slip rings, play a crucial role in determining current-carry.ng capabilities. This study adopts spatial frequency analysis to assess the currentcarry.ng performance of interfaces based on their morphological characteristics. Initially, rough surfaces with various parameters, including the cutoff frequency(N), the spectral index(β), and the gain factor(A), were generated using spatial frequency methods, followed by current-carry.ng simulations. The findings reveal that the characteristic parameters derived from spatial frequency methods exhibit a significantly stronger correlation with current-carry.ng performance than traditional roughness metrics. To enhance the practical applicability of this research, a physical-informed machine learning approach for rough surface features extraction was developed, demonstrating high predictive parameter identification accuracy for the three parameters. Overall, this paper introduces a tribo-informatics approach for analyzing and extracting rough surface features that considers the curvature characteristics of contact points. This approach holds significant potential for evaluating the processing state of current-carry.ng interfaces, selecting high-quality surfaces, and forecasting current-carry.ng performances.

We have developed a superhydrophobic and corrosion-resistant LDH-W/PFDTMS composite coating on the surface of Mg *** composite comprised a tungstate-intercalated(LDH-W)underlayer that was grown at low temperature(relative to hydrothermal reaction conditions)under atmospheric pressure and an outer polysiloxane layer created from a solution containing perfluorodecyltrimethoxysilane(PFDTMS)using a simple immersion *** successful intercalation of tungstate into the LDH phase and the following formation of the polysiloxane layer were confirmed through X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)spectroscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The corrosion resistance of the LDH-W film,both before and after the PFDTMS modification,was evaluated using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),Tafel curves,and immersion *** results showed that Mg coated with LDH-W/PFDTMS exhibited significantly enhanced corrosion protection compared to the unmodified LDHW film,with no apparent signs of corrosion after exposure to 3.5wt%NaCl solution for 15 ***,the LDH-W/PFDTMS coating demonstrated superior superhydrophobicity and self-cleaning properties against water and several common beverages,as confirmed by static contact angle and water-repellency *** results offer valuable insights into preparing superhydrophobic and corrosion-resistant LDH-based composite coatings on Mg alloy surfaces under relatively mild reaction conditions.

At present,the emerging solid-phase friction-based additive manufacturing technology,including friction rolling additive man-ufacturing(FRAM),can only manufacture simple single-pass *** this study,multi-layer multi-pass FRAM-deposited alumin-um alloy samples were successfully prepared using a non-shoulder tool *** material flow behavior and microstructure of the over-lapped zone between adjacent layers and passes during multi-layer multi-pass FRAM deposition were studied using the hybrid 6061 and 5052 aluminum *** results showed that a mechanical interlocking structure was formed between the adjacent layers and the adja-cent passes in the overlapped center *** friction and rolling of the tool head led to different degrees of lateral flow and plastic deformation of the materials in the overlapped zone,which made the recrystallization degree in the left and right edge zones of the over-lapped zone the highest,followed by the overlapped center zone and the non-overlapped *** tensile strength of the overlapped zone exceeded 90%of that of the single-pass deposition *** is proved that although there are uneven grooves on the surface of the over-lapping area during multi-layer and multi-pass deposition,they can be filled by the flow of materials during the deposition of the next lay-er,thus ensuring the dense microstructure and excellent mechanical properties of the overlapping *** multi-layer multi-pass FRAM deposition overcomes the limitation of deposition width and lays the foundation for the future deposition of large-scale high-performance components.

Distinct brain remodeling has been found after different nerve reconstruction strategies,including motor representation of the affected ***,differences among reconstruction strategies at the brain network level have not been *** study aimed to explore intranetwork changes related to altered peripheral neural pathways after different nerve reconstruction surgeries,including nerve repair,endto-end nerve transfer,and end-to-side nerve ***–Dawley rats underwent complete left brachial plexus transection and were divided into four equal groups of eight:no nerve repair,grafted nerve repair,phrenic nerve end-to-end transfer,and end-to-side transfer with a graft sutured to the anterior upper ***-state brain functional magnetic resonance imaging was obtained 7 months after *** independent component analysis algorithm was utilized to identify group-level network components of interest and extract resting-state functional connectivity values of each voxel within the *** in intra-network resting-state functional connectivity were compared among the *** muscle reinnervation was assessed by behavioral observation(elbow flexion)and *** results showed that alterations in the sensorimotor and interoception networks were mostly related to changes in the peripheral neural *** repair was related to enhanced connectivity within the sensorimotor network,while end-to-side nerve transfer might be more beneficial for restoring control over the affected limb by the original motor *** thalamic-cortical pathway was enhanced within the interoception network after nerve repair and end-to-end nerve *** areas related to cognition and emotion were enhanced after end-to-side nerve *** study revealed important brain networks related to different nerve *** networks may be potential targets for enhancing motor recovery.

In order to solve the flexible job shop scheduling problem with variable batches,we propose an improved multiobjective optimization algorithm,which combines the idea of inverse ***,a flexible job shop problem with the variable batches scheduling model is ***,we propose a batch optimization algorithm with inverse scheduling in which the batch size is adjusted by the dynamic feedback batch adjusting ***,in order to increase the diversity of the population,two methods are *** is the threshold to control the neighborhood updating,and the other is the dynamic clustering algorithm to update the ***,a group of experiments are carried *** results show that the improved multi-objective optimization algorithm can ensure the diversity of Pareto solutions effectively,and has effective performance in solving the flexible job shop scheduling problem with variable batches.
