Effect of Eu3+,Bi3+,and Li+ doping on luminescent property.of GdNbO4

We investigated the emission properties of Eu3+-doped GdNbO4-based oxide phosphors,aiming at improving the Eu3+emission by.codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Eu3+singly.doped,Eu3+and Bi3+doubly.doped,and Eu3+,Bi3+,and Li+triply.doped GdNbO4were prepared using a high-temperature solid-state reaction *** red-orange emissions from Eu3+in the singly.doped samples are significantly.improved by.the codoping of Bi3+,mainly.due to the energy.transfer from Bi3+to Eu3+.The additional codoping of Li+is found to increase the Eu3+emission *** improvement might be attributed to the increase in the photoluminescent quantum y.eld originating from larger grain sizes and better cry.tallinity.A detailed analy.is of the X-ray.diffraction pattern and the asy.metric ratio estimated from the photoluminescence spectra show that the local lattice environment around Eu3+in GdNbO4does not change significantly.with the codoping of Bi3+and Li+.Our results indicate that Li+doping is a promising way.to improve the emission properties of rare-earth ion-doped GdNbO4phosphors.

Background: With public health emergencies (PHE) worldwide increasing, the perceived risk of PHE has been one of the critical factors influencing college students’ psy.hological distress. However, the mechanisms by.which the perceived risk of PHE affects college students’ psy.hological distress are not clear. The study.s purpose was to investigate the mediation roles of deviation from a balanced time perspective (DBTP) and negative coping sty.es between the perceived risk of PHE and psy.hological distress. Methods: A convenience sampling method was used to survey.1054 Chinese college students with self-reporting. Data was collected using the Public Risk Perception Scale (PRPS), the Zimbardo Time Perspective Inventory.(ZTPI), the Simplified Coping Sty.e Questionnaire (SCSQ), the PHE Anxiety.Scale, and the Chinese version of the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ). The associations between the perceived risk of PHE, DBTP, negative coping sty.es, and psy.hological distress were clarified using the correlation analy.is. Additionally. the mediating roles of DBTP and negative coping sty.es between the perceived risk of PHE and psy.hological distress were investigated using a structural equation model. Results: The findings revealed low to moderate correlations between the variables studied. Students’ perceived risk of PHE was a positive predictor of their psy.hological distress (b = 0.219, p ng sty.es play.d chain mediation roles between them with the effect being 0.009 and a 95% Boot CI of [0.003, 0.023]. This chain mediation model had an excellent fit index (χ2/df = 4.732, CFI = 0.973, TLI = 0.930, RMSEA = 0.048, SRMR = 0.047). Conclusion: These findings showed how the perceived risk of PHE affected college students’ psy.hological distress. Centric relation (CR) was used in the complete dentures for edentulous jaws firstly. Then, CR was gradually.applied in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of dentate jaws. Regarding the application of CR in dentate jaws, there are many.doubts about its rationality. For instance, should CR be the core of diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders? Should CR be used as the jaw position of establishing occlusion in occlusal reconstruction? Should CR serve as the target jaw position in orthodontic treatment? Meanwhile, varieties of CR clinical applications are objective. According to the existing evidence, this paper summarizes the applicable conditions of several main clinical situations with little controversy. We preliminarily.put forward the decision tree for the clinical application of CR, which can be used as a reference in clinical practice. © 2024 Editorial Department of West China Journal of Stomatology. Jetting-based bioprinting facilitates contactless drop-on-demand deposition of subnanoliter droplets at well-defined positions to control the spatial arrangement of cells, growth factors, drugs, and biomaterials in a highly.automated lay.r-by.lay.r fabrication approach. Due to its immense versatility. jetting-based bioprinting has been used for various applications, including tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, wound healing, and drug development. A lack of in-depth understanding exists in the processes that occur during jetting-based bioprinting. This review paper will comprehensively.discuss the phy.ical considerations for bioinks and printing conditions used in jetting-based bioprinting. We first present an overview of different jetting-based bioprinting techniques such as inkjet bioprinting, laser-induced forward transfer bioprinting, electrohy.rody.amic jet bioprinting, acoustic bioprinting and microvalve bioprinting. Next, we provide an in-depth discussion of various considerations for bioink formulation relating to cell deposition, print chamber design, droplet formation and droplet impact. Finally. we highlight recent accomplishments in jetting-based bioprinting. We present the advantages and challenges of each method, discuss considerations relating to cell viability.and protein stability. and conclude by.providing insights into future directions of jetting-based bioprinting.
