The oyster mushroom(Pleurotus spp.)is one of the most widely cultivated mushroom species *** present study investigated the effect of synbiotics on the growth and quality of Pleurotus ostreatus and Pleurotus *** synbiotics formulations were applied by spray.ng mushroom samples daily and measuring their growth parameters,yield,biological efficiency,proximate composition,mineral content,total phenolic content(TPC),and diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl(DPPH)radical scavenging *** demonstrated that the most significant yield of oyster mushrooms was harvested from synbiotics sprayed with inulin and Lactobacillus casei(56.92 g).Likewise,the highest biological efficiency obtained with a similar synbiotic was 12.65%.Combining inulin and *** was the most effective method of improving the mushrooms'growth performance and nutrient content in both ***,synbiotics that combined inulin and *** resulted in the highest TPC(20.550 mg gallic acid equivalent(GAE)/g dry extract(DE))in white oyster mushrooms(***).In comparison,in grey mushroom(***)the highest TPC was yielded by ***(1.098 mg GAE/g DE)followed by inulin and ***(1.079 mg GAE/g DE).The DPPH results indicated that the oyster mushroom could be an efficient *** results revealed that apply.ng synbiotics improved the mushrooms'quality by increasing their antioxidant capacity with higher amounts of phenolic compounds and offering better health benefits with the increased levels of mineral ***,these studies demonstrated the potential of using synbiotics as a biofertilizer,which is helpful for mushroom cultivation;therefore,it might solve the challenge of inconsistent quality mushroom growers face.

The SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variants are notorious for their transmissibility,but little is known about their subgenomic RNA(sgRNA)*** study applied RNA-seq to delineate the quantitative and qualitative profiles of canonical sgRNA of 118 respiratory samples collected from patients infected with Omicron BA.2 and compared with 338 patients infected with non-variant of concern(non-VOC)-D614G.A unique characteristic profile depicted by the relative abundance of 9 canonical sgRNAs was reproduced by both BA.2 and non-VOCD614G regardless of host gender,age and presence of ***,such profile was lost in samples with low viral load,suggesting a potential application of sgRNA pattern to indicate viral activity of individual patient at a specific time point.A characteristic qualitative profile of canonical sgRNAs was also reproduced by both BA.2 and *** presence of a full set of canonical sgRNAs carried a coherent correlation with crude viral load(AUC¼0.91,95%CI 0.88–0.94),and sgRNA ORF7b was identified to be the best surrogate marker allowing feasible routine application in characterizing the infection status of individual *** potentials in using sgRNA as a target for vaccine and antiviral development are worth pursuing.

Exploring the impacts of major events on the systemic risk of the international energy market

This study examines the systemic risk caused by major events in the international energy market(IEM)and proposes a management strategy to mitigate it. Using the tail-event driven network(TENET)method, this study constructed a tail-risk spillover network(TRSN) of IEM and simulated the dynamic spillover tail-risk process through the cascading failure mechanism. The study found that renewable energy markets contributed more to systemic risk during the Paris Agreement and the COVID-19pandemic, while fossil energy markets played a larger role during the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This study identifies systemically important markets(SM) and critical tail-risk spillover paths as potential sources of systemic risk. The research confirms that cutting off the IEM risk spillover path can greatly reduce systemic risk and the influence of SM. This study offers insights into the management of systemic risk in IEM and provides policy recommendations to reduce the impact of shock events.

Customized 3D-printed structural parts are widely used in surgical *** satisfy the mechanical properties and kinematic functions of these structural parts,a topology optimization technique is adopted to obtain the optimal structural layout while meeting the constraints and ***,topology optimization currently faces some practical challenges that must be addressed,such as ensuring that structures do not have significant defects when converted to additive manufacturing *** address this problem,we designed a 3D hierarchical fully convolutional network(FCN)to predict the precise position of the defective *** on the prediction results,an effective repair strategy is adopted to repair the defective structure.A series of experiments is conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of our *** to the 2D fully convolutional network and the rule-based detection method,our approach can accurately capture most defect structures and achieve 89.88%precision and 95.59%***,we investigate the impact of different ways to increase the receptive field of our model,as well as the trade-off between different defect-repairing *** results of the experiment demonstrate that the hierarchical structure,which increases the receptive field,can substantially improve the defect detection *** the best of our knowledge,this paper is the first to investigate 3D defect prediction and repair for topology optimization in conjunction with deep learning algorithms,providing practical tools and new perspectives for the subsequent development of topology optimization techniques.

Rare earth ion-doped y_(3)Al_(5)O_(12)(yAG)-based transparent ceramics have been used as important laser gain media for a long time,yet the doping concentration of active ions is limited due to concentration quenching,wherein the inflexion concentration quenching of Nd^(3+)is recognized as 1.0 at%.In this work,yAG-Al_(2)O_(3) nanocrystalline transparent ceramics with a concentration of Nd^(3+)(O-5.0 at%)were fabricated via amorphous crystallization,and the crystal structure evolution,morphology,and optical properties were systematically investigated by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),magnetic resonation(MAS),nuclear magnetic resonation(NMR),and fluorescence *** doping of Nd^(3+)can promote the transition of Al[5]and Al[6]to Al[14],indicating improvements in the ability of the amorphous material to form Nd^(3+):y_(2)O_(3)-Al_(2)O_(3) vitrified beads,and 1.5 at%Nd^(3+):yAG-Al_(2)O_(3) nanocrystalline transparent ceramics can be obtained by crystallization at 1050℃ with a matrix composed of yAG and concomitant δ-Al_(2)O_(3) and θ-Al_(2)O_(3).The nanocrystalline transparent ceramics show an internal transmitance of 89.56%at 1064 nm,and the strongest emission peak corresponds to the energy transfer from 4F_(3/2) to 4l_(11/2) of Nd^(3+)with a fluorescence lifetime of 231μs when pumped by an 808 nm ***,spectral broadening begins to occur,indicating the onset of concentration quenching,when the concentration of Nd^(3+)exceeds 1.5 at%,substantially higher than the 1.0 at% observed in yAG ***-Al_(2)O_(3) nanocrystalline transparent ceramics obtained by amorphous crystalization can be utilized as the matrix to increase the inflexion point of doping concentration quenching of Nd^(3+),and this material may have great potential as a laser gain medium.

The spatial distributions of different kinds of ions are usually not completely the same in the process of *** order to study the reason for the different characteristics of ion extraction, a simplified simulation model of Cu+ andCr+ ions extraction process was established by 2D3V (two-dimensional in space and three- dimensional in velocity space)particle-in-cell (PIC) method. The effects of different extraction voltages from 0 V to 500 V on the density distribution ofCu+ and Cr+ ions and the change of plasma emission surface were analyzed. On the basis of this model, the ion densitydistribution characteristics of Cu+ ions mixed with Li+, Mg+, K+, Fe+, y+, Ag+, Xe+, Au+, and Pb+ ions respectivelyunder 200-V extraction voltage are further simulated, and it is revealed that the atomic mass of the ions is the key reason fordifferent ion density distributions when different kinds of ions are mixed and extracted, which provides support for furtherunderstanding of ion extraction characteristics.
