Gas film/regenerative composite cooling characteristics of the liquid oxygen/liquid methane (LOX/LCH4) rocket engine

the thermal protection of rocket engines is a crucial aspect of rocket engine *** this paper,the gas film/regenerative composite cooling of the liquid oxygen/liquid methane(LOX/LCH4)rocket engine thrust chamber was investigated.A gas film/regenerative composite cooling model was developed based on the Grisson gas film cooling efficiency formula and the one-dimensional regenerative cooling *** accuracy of the model was validated through experiments conducted on a 6 kg/s level gas film/regenerative composite cooling thrust ***,key parameters related to heat transfer performance were *** results demonstrate that the model is sufficiently accurate to be used as a preliminary design *** temperature rise error of the coolant,when compared with the experimental results,was found to be less than 10%.Although the pressure drop error is relatively large,the calculated results still provide valuable guidance for heat transfer *** addition,the performance of composite cooling is observed to be superior to regenerative *** the gas film flow rate results in higher cooling efficiency and a lower gas-side wall ***,the position at which the gas film is introduced greatly impacts the cooling *** optimal introduction position for the gas film is determined when the film is introduced from a single row of *** optimal introduction position results in a more uniform wall temperature distribution and reduces the peak ***,it is observed that a double row of holes,when compared to a single row of holes,enhances the cooling effect in the superposition area of the gas film and further lowers the gas-side wall *** results provide a basis for the design of gas film/regenerative composite cooling systems.

Evaluation of left ventricular systolic function in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with and without peripheral vascular disease

Prime edit.ng(PE)technology enables precise alterations in the genetic code of a genome of *** offers great potential for identifying major agronomically important genes in plants and edit.ng them into superior variants,ideally target.ng multiple loci simultaneously to realize the collective effects of the ***,we report the development of a modular assembly-based multiplex PE system in rice and demon-strate its efficacy in edit.ng up to four genes in a single transformation *** duplex PE(DPE)system achieved a co-edit.ng efficiency of 46.1%in the t0 generation,convert.ng tFIIAg5 to xa5 and xa23 to *** result.ng double-mutant lines exhibited robust broad-spectrum resistance against multiple Xanthomonas oryzae pathovar oryzae(Xoo)strains in the t1 *** addition,we success-fully edited OsEPSPS1 to an herbicide-tolerant variant and OsSWEEt11a to a Xoo-resistant allele,achieving a co-edit.ng rate of 57.14%.Furthermore,with the quadruple PE(QPE)system,we edited four genes—two for herbicide tolerance(OsEPSPS1 and OsALS1)and two for Xoo resistance(tFIIAg5 and OsSWEEt11a)—using one construct,with a co-edit.ng efficiency of 43.5%for all four genes in the t0 *** performed multiplex PE usingfive more constructs,including two for triplex PE(tPE)and three for QPE,each target.ng a different set of *** edit.ng rates were dependent on the activity of pegRNA and/or *** instance,optimization of ngRNA increased the PE rates for one of the targets(OsSPL13)from 0%to 30%but did not improve edit.ng at another target(OsGS2).Overall,our modular assembly-based system yielded high PE rates and streamlined the cloning of PE reagents,making it feasible for more labs to utilize PE for their edit.ng *** have significant implications for advancing gene edit.ng techniques in plants and may pave the way for future agricultural applications.
