Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have been regarded as prospective rechargeable energy storage devices because of the high theoretical capacity and low redox potential of Zn ***,the uncontrollable formation of dendrites and the water-induced side reactions at the Zn/electrolyte interface,and the poor reversibility under a high current density(>2 mA·cm^(-2))and large area capacity(>2 mAh·cm^(-2))still limit the practical applications of ***,a strategy that can overcome these difficulties is urgently ***,we introduce an environmentally friendly and low-cost additive,namely urea,to the electrolyte of AZIBs to induce uniform Zn deposition and suppress the side *** of the adsorption behavior,electrochemical characterization,and observations of the morphology revealed the interfacial modification induced by urea on the Zn/electrolyte interface,demonstrating its huge potential in ***,the long-term cycling stability(over2100 h)of a Zn/Zn symmetric cell under a high current density of 5 mA·cm^(-2)and a capacity of 5 mAh·cm^(-2)was achieved with a 1 mol·L^(-1)ZnSO_(4)electrolyte with the urea ***,the assembled Zn/NH_4V_4O_(10)full cell with urea exhibited excellent cycling performance and an outstanding average Coulombic efficiency of 99.98%.These results indicate that this is a low-cost and effective additive strategy for realizing highly reversible AZIBs.

Local air pollution is strongly affected by synoptic weather systems,such as fronts,troughs,low-altitude vortices,or high-altitude ***,few studies have analyzed the meteorological properties of cold or warm air masses associated to these systems and their impact on local air *** this study,hourly observations of fine particulate matter(diameter of up to 2.5µm,i.e.,PM_(2.5)),wind(V),temperature(T),pressure(P),and precipitation(R),acquired in Hangzhou in 2014-2020,were *** this analysis,weather patterns were categorized into 27 types;89 and 94 cases illustrating the passage of warm and cold air masses over Hangzhou were identified,respectively;the influence of air mass temperature,wind speed,and wind direction on PM_(2.5) concentrations and local accumulation or removal was *** main results are as follows.(1)Pollution events occurred more frequently for cold than for warm air masses,but average pollutant concentration was lower for cold air masses;(2)48%of the cold air mass cases corresponded to PM_(2.5) decreases and 52%to PM_(2.5) increases,with strong cold air masses(ΔT_(24h)>4°C;∣V∣_(average)>4 m s^(−1))markedly reducing local pollution,but weak cold air masses(ΔT24hy inducing pollutant transport and accumulation;(3)for warm air masses,PM_(2.5)accumulation or removal occurred in 60%and 40%of the cases,respectively:warm air masses(ΔT24h>4°C)reduced the PM_(2.5) concentration whereas weaker winds(∣V∣_(average)y within 4 h after the passage of strong cold air masses,but more gradually within 14 h after the passage of strong warm air *** results considerably improve the current understanding of the influence of cold and warm air masses on local pollution patterns.

Fabrication of AZ31/Mg3y Composites with Excellent Strength and Plasticity via Accumulated Rolling Bonding and Diffusion Annealing

AZ31/Mg3y composites with a layer thickness of 100-200μm were fabricated by accumulated rolling bonding(ARB),which was followed by diffusion annealing at 300℃ for 0-32 *** interface layer,containing numerous Al-y precipitates,is formed in the Mg3y layer that is adjacent to the interface as a result of Al diffusing from the AZ31 layers into the Mg3y *** thickness of the interface layer gets increased and more precipitates are formed in the interface layer with the extension of the annealing *** microhardness of the AZ31 and Mg3y layer decreases firstly and then reaches a stable value,while the microhardness of the interface layer increases gradually with the extension of the annealing *** AZ31/Mg3y composites exhibit equivalent strength but increased ductility after diffusion annealing,in comparison to the as-rolled AZ31/Mg3y *** addition,the AZ31/Mg3y composites after annealing always present higher strength and ductility than AZ31/AZ31 composite,which was fabricated by the same process as that for the AZ31/Mg3y ***-deformation induced strengthening also plays an important role in the excellent strength and ductility of the annealed AZ31/Mg3y *** study can provide a direction for improving the plasticity and strength of magnesium alloys synergistically.

Exact Box-Constrained Economic Operating Region for Power Grids Considering Renewable Energy Sources

The growing integration of renewable energy sources manifests as an effective strategy for reducing carbon emissions. This paper strives to efficiently approximate the set of optimal scheduling plans(OSPs) to enhance the performance of the steady-state adaptive cruise method(SACM) of power grid, improving the ability of dealing with operational uncertainties. Initially, we provide a mathematical definition of the exact boxconstrained economic operating region(EBC-EOR) for the power grid and its dispatchable components. Following this, we introduce an EBC-EOR formulation algorithm and the corresponding bi-level optimization models designed to explore the economic operating boundaries. In addition, we propose an enhanced big-M method to expedite the computation of the EBCEOR. Finally, the effectiveness of the EBC-EOR formulation, its economic attributes, correlation with the scheduling plan underpinned by model predictive control, and the significant improvement in computational efficiency(over twelvefold) are verified through case studies conducted on two test systems..

Aiming at the problem of shadow interference in UAV's ground reconnaissance,a color and polarization synergistic target detection method is proposed for anti-shadow interference,based on the influence of two physical characteristics(wavelength and polarization)under different illuminations.A valid fusion strategy is proposed via integrating two separate detection results on color and polarization ***,a local enhancement and recognition module(LER)is introduced to boost the *** on our built dataset,experimental results show that our method achieves mAPof 87.76%,and12.37%higher than that of color image and 14.68%higher than that of polarization image.

Enantiomeric molecules generally play distinct functions in chemistry,biology,and *** physical and chemical properties of chiral analytes lay difficulty in discrimination and quantification of the *** report herein an efficient approach of increasing the chiral sensing ability ofβ-cyclodextrin(β-CD),a widely used host molecule,in the hostguest chemistry by magnetic anisotropy.A rigid and chiral lanthanide binding tag was attached to theβ-CD to amplify the changes of nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR)signals in the host-guest recognition *** installation of the paramagnetic lanthanide ion inβ-CD greatly enhances the enantiomeric discrimination up to 30-fold in comparison with the diamagneticβ-CD *** addition,the magnitude of the paramagnetic effects is tunable according to the diverse range of paramagnetic strength of the lanthanide *** reported method significantly increases the chiral sensing ability ofβ-CD,which can be applied to other host *** transferred paramagnetic effects,pseudocontact shifts(PCSs)and paramagnetic relaxation enhancements(PREs),from the host to the guest molecules,are valuable structural restraints to determine the absolute stereochemistry of the chiral *** strategy does not need modification of the analytes and is complementary to the reported analytical methods that rely on the functionalization of the chiral analytes.

The special electronic characteristics and high atom usage efficiency of metal-nitrogen-carbon(M-N-C)materials have made them extremely attractive for oxygen reduction reactions(ORRs).However,it is inevitable that hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))will be formed via the two-electron pathway in ***,the Cu nanoparticles(NPs)have been encapsulated into Ni doped hollow mesoporous carbon spheres(Ni-HMCS)to reduce the generation of H_(2)O_(2)in *** tests confirm that the introduction of Cu NPs improves the ORR performance *** obtained Cu/Ni-HMCS exhibits a half-wave potential of 0.82 V *** hydrogen electrode and a limited current density of 5.5 mA cm^(-2),which is comparable with the commercial Pt/***,Cu/Ni-HMCS has been used in Zn-air battery,demonstrating a high power density of 161 mW cm^(-2)and a long-term recharge capability(50 h at 5 mA cm^(-2)).The theoretical calculation proposes a tandem catalysis pathway for Cu/Ni multi-sites catalysis,that is,H_(2)O_(2)released from the Ni-N_(4)and Cu-N_(4)sites migrates to the Cu(111)face,on which the captive H_(2)O_(2)is further reduced to H_(2)*** work demonstrates an interesting tandem catalytic pathway of dual-metal multi-sites for ORR,which provides an insight into the development of effective fuel cell electrocatalysts.

Mild traumatic brain injury(mTBI)-induced post-traumatic headache(PTH)is a pressing public health concern and leading cause of disability *** PTH is often accompanied by neurological disorders,the exact underlying mechanism remains largely *** potential biomarkers may prompt the diagnosis and development of effective treatments for mTBI-induced *** this study,a mouse model of mTBI-induced PTH was established to investigate its effects on cerebral structure and function during short-term *** indicated that mice with mTBI-induced PTH exhibited balance deficits during the early post-injury *** kinetics revealed that variations in neurotransmitters were most prominent in the cerebellum,temporal lobe/cortex,and hippocampal regions during the early stages of ***,variations in brain functional activities and connectivity were further detected in the early stage of PTH,particularly in the cerebellum and temporal cortex,suggesting that these regions play central roles in the mechanism underlying ***,our results suggested that GABA and glutamate may serve as potential diagnostic or prognostic biomarkers for *** studies should explore the specific neural circuits involved in the regulation of PTH by the cerebellum and temporal cortex,with these two regions potentially utilized as targets for non-invasive stimulation in future clinical treatment.
