The Brown-Preston-Singleton(BPS)stopping power model is added to our previously developed hybrid code to model ion beam-plasma *** simulations show that both resistive field and ion scattering effects are important for proton beam transport in a solid target,in which they compete with each *** the target is not completely ionized,the self-generated resistive field effect dominates over the ion scattering ***,when the target is completely ionized,this situation is ***,it is found that Ohmic heating is important for higher current densities and materials with high *** energy fraction deposited as Ohmic heating can be as high as 20%-30%.Typical ion divergences with half-angles of about 5°-10°will modify the proton energy deposition substantially and should be taken into account.

既然“建设数字中国是数字时代推进中国式现代化的重要引擎”,那么《数字中国整体布局规划》的愿景是否直面并回应了中国式现代化面临的突出挑战,能否在落地实践中兑现变中国为“数目字上可治理”的国家的使命,就成为了有待严肃检视的问题。沿用经典的组织理性化视角,以中国国家治理体系中的科层制组织为面向,可以提出一个分析国家组织现代化程度的概念框架,并将其用于探讨数字中国、国家组织现代化和中国式现代化三者间的逻辑联系与转化约束。这一概念框架中工具理性与价值理性相平衡的分析原则,有利于纠正视技术引进和融入为组织现代化充分条件的思维偏差,揭示出国家组织的现代化并非单纯技术与工具意义上的效率提升,更关乎其内部对公共价值的多元兼容与动态回应。实现数字中国的愿景不仅需要谋划成本—收益合理、职责分工明确、绩效考核激励相容的技术赋能方案,更需要探索党政之间、央地之间、政府与市场之间、国家与社会之间需求共生和价值共创的“平台”智慧。

A significant portion of the national water supply can be attributed to de facto or unplanned potable reuse, though the extent of its contribution is difficult to estimate. Fortunately, the contribution of Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) effluent to waters that supply drinking water treatment plants has been documented by some communities. In the United States (US), among the top 25 most impacted drinking water treatment plants by upstream WRRF, 16% of the influent flow to the drinking water treatment plant under average streamflow and up to 100% under low-flow conditions is WRRF effluent. Currently, the full extent of de facto reuse in the US may be much higher because of population growth. The scenario is no different for Beaufort-Jasper Water and Sewer Authority (BJWSA) in South Carolina, US, with contributions to the Savannah River originating from numerous WRRF and other upstream dischargers. South Carolina coastal utilities such as BJSWA are considering direct and indirect potable reuse options, driven by disposal limitations and challenges. Currently, South Carolina does not have a framework, guidelines, or regulations for reuse, but discussions have started among the regulated community. In addition to understanding the extent of de facto reuse, the state will need to develop standards and best practices to enable future adoption of planned potable reuse solutions to water resources challenges. Such guidance should address human health risk management and technical considerations regarding treatment in addition to other factors, including source control, storage, fail-safe operation, monitoring, non-cost factors, and public acceptance. This study conducted a mapping assessment specific to BJWSA, sampled at four locations on Savannah River, and observed that de facto reuse is approximately 4.6% to 5.9% during low-flow months and is within the range generally observed nationwide. Coral-like structures of the y_(3-x)Pr_(x)Fe_(5-y)yb_(y)O_(12),(0.00 ≤ x ≤ 0.04, 0.00 ≤ y ≤ 0.02) compound were synthesized using the sol-gel method. Structural investigation certified the yIG cubic crystal structure formation, without any secondary phase. It is shown that, the relatively large ionic radius of the dopant cations results in an expansion of the lattice parameter, variations in the Iona-O-Iondangle, Iona-O,Iond-O and Ionc-O bond distances and decrease in the average crystallite size. Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) and Raman measurements are essential to testify the single-phase formation of yIG crystal structure and are observed changes in the stretching and vibrational modes, respectively. The morphological study, energy dispersive spectroscopy(EDS) spectra and textural properties show corallike structures, peaks associated with Pr^(3+) and yb^(3+) atoms and the effect of dopants on surface area,diameter, and pore volume, respectively. The optical analysis from diffuse reflectance spectra witnessed an increase in the optical gap band, a decrease in Urbach energy and blue shift in the charge transfer,correlated with the expansion of the unit cell due to the dopant's insertion in the yIG structure. A typical ferrimagnetic behavior is exhibited by the y_(3-x)Pr_(x)Fe_(5-y)yb_(y)O_(12)compound. The saturation magnetization(M_(s)), cubic anisotropy constant(K_(1)) and coercive field(H_(c)) increase with the Pr^(3+)cations content, as consequence of their magnetic nature and distribution around of Fe^(3+)ions due to the coexistence with the yb^(3+). Finally, for the first time, antibacterial tests by mean of the direct contact method were performed for yIG co-doped with Pr^(3+)and yb^(3+)and it is shown that, relatively high dosages of Pr^(3+) cations favored the activity against S. aureus, therefore, a new biological property for yIG doped with rare earths is presented.

BACKGROUND The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic disrupted healthcare in the United *** To investigate COVID-19-related and non-COVID-19-related death and characteristics associated with excess death among inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)*** We performed a register-based study using data from the National Vital Statistics System,which reports death data from over 99%of the United States population,from January 1,2006 through December 31,***-related deaths among adults 25 years and older were stratified by age,sex,race/ethnicity,place of death,and primary cause of *** and actual age-standardized mortality rates(ASMRs)per 100000 persons were *** 49782 IBD-related deaths occurred during the study ***-COVID-19-related deaths increased by 13.14%in 2020 and 18.12%in 2021[2020 ASMR:1.55 actual vs 1.37 predicted,95%confidence interval(CI):1.26-1.49;2021 ASMR:1.63 actual vs 1.38 predicted,95%CI:1.26-1.49].In 2020,non-COVID-19-related mortality increased by 17.65%in ulcerative colitis(UC)patients between the ages of 25 and 65 and 36.36%in non-Hispanic black(NHB)Crohn’s disease(CD)*** the pandemic,deaths at home or on arrival and at medical facilities as well as deaths due to neoplasms also *** IBD patients suffered excess non-COVID-19-related death during the *** death was associated with younger age among UC patients,and with NHB race among CD *** death at home or on arrival and due to neoplasms suggests that delayed presentation and difficulty accessing healthcare may have led to increased IBD mortality.

Background Functional constipation is a clinical problem with an incompletely understood etiology. Functional bowel diseases have been shown to be related to inflammation in many studies in adults. In this study, we aimed to evaluate leuko-cytes, C-reactive protein, proinflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines, and neopterin levels in children with functional constipation. Methods Seventy-six children with constipation and 71 healthy controls (mean age 7.12 ± 3.46 years and 7.32 ± 4.33 years, respectively, P = 0.991) were included in the study. Leukocytes, C-reactive protein, interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, IL-10, IL-12, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) and neopterin levels were assessed in patients and healthy controls. Parameters were measured in the serum using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay methods. Results Mean IL-6 (20.31 ± 12.05 vs. 16.2 ± 10.25 pg/mL, respectively, P = 0.003), IL-12 (181.42 ± 133.45 vs. 135.6 ± 83.67 pg/mL, respectively, P = 0.018) and neopterin levels (2.08 ± 1.12 vs. 1.52 ± 1.02 pg/mL, respectively, P = 0.001) were significantly higher in constipated children than healthy controls. Leukocyte and thrombocyte counts, C-reactive protein, and IL-1β, IL-10 and TNF-α levels did not show any difference between the two groups. Conclusions In this study, IL-6, IL-12 and neopterin levels of constipated patients were found to be higher than those of controls. These results indicate the presence of subclinical inflammation in children with functional constipation.
