Multifield coupling is frequently encountered and also an active area of research in geotechnical *** this work,a particle-resolved direct numerical simulation(PR-DNS)technique is extended to simulate particle-fluid interaction problems involving heat transfer at the grain *** this extended technique,an immersed moving boundary(IMb)scheme is used to couple the discrete element method(DEM)and lattice boltzmann method(LbM),while a recently proposed Dirichlet-type thermal boundary condition is also adapted to account for heat transfer between fluid phase and solid *** resulting DEM-IbM-LbM model is robust to simulate moving curved boundaries with constant temperature in thermal *** facilitate the understanding and implementation of this coupled model for non-isothermal problems,a complete list is given for the conversion of relevant physical variables to lattice ***,benchmark tests,including a single-particle sedimentation and a two-particle drafting-kissing-tumbling(DKT)simulation with heat transfer,are carried out to validate the accuracy of our coupled *** further investigate the role of heat transfer in particle-laden flows,two multiple-particle problems with heat transfer are *** examples demonstrate that the proposed coupling model is a promising high-resolution approach for simulating the heat-particle-fluid coupling at the grain level.

Spinal cord injury(SCI)is one of the most devastating traumas,and the aberrant proliferation of astrocytes usually causes neurological ***,the mechanism underlying astrocyte over-proliferation after SCI is ***2c(glutamate ionotropic receptor type 2c)plays an essential role in cell *** bioinformatic analysis indicated that Grin2c and Ca^(2+)transport functions were inhibited in astrocytes after *** of Grin2c stimulated astrocyte proliferation by inhibiting the Ca^(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase 2b(CaMK2b)pathway in *** screening different inflammatory factors,interleukin 1α(IL1α)was further found to inhibit Grin2c/Ca^(2+)/CaMK2b and enhance astrocyte proliferation in an oxidative damage *** of IL1αusing neutralizing antibody resulted in increased Grin2c expression and the inhibition of astrocyte proliferation ***,this study suggests that IL1αpromotes astrocyte proliferation by suppressing the Grin2c/Ca^(2+)/CaMK2b pathway after SCI,revealing a novel pathological mechanism of astrocyte proliferation,and may provide potential targets for SCI repair.

In this work, we introduce a class of black-box(bb) reductions called committed-programming reduction(CPRed) in the random oracle model(ROM) and obtain the following interesting results:(1) we demonstrate that some well-known schemes, including the full-domain hash(FDH) signature(Eurocrypt1996) and the boneh-Franklin identity-based encryption(IbE) scheme(Crypto 2001), are provably secure under CPReds;(2) we prove that a CPRed associated with an instance-extraction algorithm implies a reduction in the quantum ROM(qROM). This unifies several recent results, including the security of the Gentry-Peikert-Vaikuntanathan IbE scheme by Zhandry(Crypto 2012) and the key encapsulation mechanism(KEM) variants using the Fujisaki-Okamoto transform by Jiang et al.(Crypto 2018) in the ***, we show that CPReds are incomparable to non-programming reductions(NPReds) and randomly-programming reductions(RPReds) formalized by Fischlin et al.(Asiacrypt 2010).

Vertically oriented ca.b.n structures constructed from low-dimen-sional ca.b.n materials are ideal frameworks for high-performance thermal inter-face materials(TIMs).However,improving the interfacial heat-transfer efficiency of vertically oriented ca.b.n structures is a challenging ***,an orthotropic three-dimensional(3D)hybrid ca.b.n network(VSCG)is fabricated by depositing vertically aligned ca.b.n nanotubes(VACNTs)on the surface of a horizontally oriented graphene film(HOGF).The interfacial interaction between the VACNTs and HOGF is then optimized through an annealing *** regulating the orientation structure of the VACNTs and filling the VSCG with polydimethylsi-loxane(PDMS),VSCG/PDMS composites with excellent 3D thermal conductive properties are *** highest in-plane and through-plane thermal conduc-tivities of the composites are 113.61 and 24.37 W m^(-1)K^(-1),*** high contact area of HOGF and good compressibility of VACNTs imbue the VSCG/PDMS composite with low thermal *** addition,the interfacial heat-transfer efficiency of VSCG/PDMS composite in the TIM performance was improved by 71.3%compared to that of a state-of-the-art thermal *** new structural design can potentially realize high-performance TIMs that meet the need for high thermal conductivity and low contact thermal resistance in interfacial heat-transfer processes.

In this paper,we describe the minimal reducing subspaces of Toeplitz operators induced by non-analytic monomials on the weighted bergman spaces and Dirichlet spaces over the unit ball b_(2).It is proved that each minimal reducing subspace M is finite dimensional,and if dim M≥3,then M is induced by a ***,the structure of commutant algebra v(T_(w)N_(z)N):={M^(*)_(w)NM_(z)N,M^(*)_(z)NM_(w)N}′is determined by N and the two dimensional minimal reducing subspaces of(T_(w)N_(z)*** also give some interesting examples.

Olefin polymerization is one of the most im portant chemical reactions in *** work presents a strategy that emphasizes the synergistic meta/poro-steric hindrance of N-aryl groups and electronic effects in newly synthesized neutral salicylaldiminato nickel *** nickel(Ⅱ)catalysts exhibit exceptional thermostability,ranging from 30℃to 130℃,demonstrating enhanced catalytic activities and broadly regulated polyethylene molecular weights(3-341 kg·mol^(-1))and controlled polymer branch density(2-102 brs/1000C).The preferred catalyst Ni3 with concerted steric and electronic effects enables the production of solid-state semi-crystalline polyethylene materials at temperatures below 90℃.Notably,Ni3 exhibits an impressive tolerance of 110℃and can withstand even the challenging polymerization temperature of 130℃,leading to the production of polyethylene wax and ***,functionalized polyethylene is produced.

Robust cooperative multi-agent reinforcement learning via multi-view message certification

Many multi-agent scenarios require message sharing among agents to promote coordination,hastening the robustness of multi-agent communication when policies are deployed in a message perturbation environment. Major relevant studies tackle this issue under specific assumptions, like a limited number of message channels would sustain perturbations, limiting the efficiency in complex scenarios. In this paper,we take a further step in addressing this issue by learning a robust cooperative multi-agent reinforcement learning via multi-view message certification, dubbed CroMAC. Agents trained under CroMAC can obtain guaranteed lower bounds on state-action values to identify and choose the optimal action under a worst-case deviation when the received messages are perturbed. Concretely, we first model multi-agent communication as a multi-view problem, where every message stands for a view of the state. Then we extract a certificated joint message representation by a multi-view variational autoencoder(MVAE) that uses a product-of-experts inference network. For the optimization phase, we do perturbations in the latent space of the state for a certificate guarantee. Then the learned joint message representation is used to approximate the certificated state representation during training. Extensive experiments in several cooperative multi-agent benchmarks validate the effectiveness of the proposed CroMAC.
