Semiconductor quantum dots are promising candidates for preparing high-performance single photon sources.A basic requirement for this application is realizing the controlled growth of high-quality semiconductor quantum ***,we report the growth of embedded GaAs_(1−x)Sb_(x) quantum dots in GaAs nanowires by molecular-beam *** is found that the size of the GaAs_(1−x)Sb_(x) quantum dot can be well-defined by the GaAs *** dispersive spectroscopy analyses show that the antimony content x can be up to 0.36 by tuning the growth *** GaAs_(1−x)Sb_(x) quantum dots exhibit a pure zinc-blende *** addition,we have developed a new technology to grow GaAs passivation layers on the sidewalls of the GaAs_(1−x)Sb_(x) quantum *** from the traditional growth process of the passivation layer,GaAs passivation layers can be grown simultaneously with the growth of the embedded GaAs_(1−x)Sb_(x) quantum *** spontaneous GaAs passivation layer shows a pure zinc-blende phase due to the strict epitaxial relationship between the quantum dot and the passivation *** successful fabrication of embedded high-quality GaAs_(1−x)Sb_(x) quantum dots lays the foundation for the realization of GaAs_(1−x)Sb_(x)-based single photon sources.

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have seen remarkable progress in recent years,largely attributed to various additives that enhance both efficiency and *** these,fluorine-containing additives have garnered significant interest because of their unique hydrophobic properties,effective defect passivation,and regulation capability on the crystallization ***,a targeted structural approach to design such additives is necessary to further enhance the performance of ***,fluoroalkyl ethylene with different fluoroalkyl chain lengths(CH_(2)CH(CF_(2))nCF_(3),n=3,5,and 7)as liquid additives is used to investigate influences of fluoroalkyl chain lengths on crystallization regulation and defect *** findings indicate that optimizing the quantity of F groups plays a crucial role in regulating the electron cloud distribution within the additive *** optimization fosters strong hydrogen bonds and coordination effects with FA+and uncoordinated Pb^(2+),ultimately enhancing crystal quality and device ***,1H,1H,2H-perfluoro-1-hexene(PF_(3))with the optimal number of F presents the most effective modulation effect.A PSC utilizing PF_(3)achieves an efficiency of 24.05%,and exhibits exceptional stability against humidity and thermal *** work sheds light on the importance of tailored structure designs in additives for achieving high-performance PSCs.

Charge-transfer(CT)stoichiometric cocrystals are promising choice of organic materials for unveiling the structure-property ***,due to the contradiction between large CT degree required for strong NIR absorption and flexible molecular stacking,construction of stoichiomorphism-based cocystals with near-infrared(NIR)photothermal property remains ***,the first example of stoichiomorphism-based photothermal cocrystals were accomplished through the adaptive assembly of 3,3,5,5-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)donor and 1,2,4,5-tetracyanobenzene(TCNB)*** selective cocrystallization could be controlled by vary.ng the donor-acceptor stoichiometries via a surfactantassisted method,resulting in two cocrystals with 1:1(T1C1)and 1:2(T2C1)*** absorbance intensity of T1C1 at 808 nm was nearly twice that of T2C1,while the photothermal conversion efficiency(PCE)of the former was 60.3%±0.6%,approximately 80%of that for the latter(75.5%±2.6%),which might be caused by the different intermolecular interactions in distinct molecular stacking ***,both excellent PCEs of stoichiometric cocrystals were attributed to the nonradiative transition process,including internal conversion and charge dissociation processes,as elucidated by femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy ***,T1C1 was used as an NIR heater for preparing agarose-based photothermal hydrogel,showing great potential for light-controlled in-situ *** strategy of balancing the CT degree and molecular packing orientation not only uncovered the relationship between stoichiometric stacking and photothermal property,but also provided an opportunity to develop advanced organic optoelectronic materials.

HIV-1 reverse transcriptase(RT)has received great attention as an attractive therapeutic target for acquired immune deficiency syndrome(AIDS),but the inevitable drug resistance and side effects have always been major challenges faced by non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors(NNRTIs).This work aimed to identify novel chemotypes of anti-HIV-1 agents with improved drugresistance profiles,reduced toxicity,and excellent druggability.A series of diarylpyrimidine(DAPy)derivatives were prepared via structural modifications of the leads K-5a2 and *** them,15a with dimethylphosphine oxide moiety showed the most prominent antiviral potency against all of the tested viral panel,being 1.6-fold(WT,EC_(50) Z 1.75 nmol/L),3.0-fold(L100I,EC_(50) Z 2.84 nmol/L),2.4-fold(K103N,EC_(50) Z 1.27 nmol/L),3.3-fold(y181C,EC50 Z 5.38 nmol/L),2.9-fold(y188L,EC_(50) Z 7.96 nmol/L),2.5-fold(E138K,EC_(50) Z 4.28 nmol/L),4.8-fold(F227L/V106A,EC_(50) Z 3.76 nmol/L)and 5.3-fold(RES056,EC_(50) Z 15.8 nmol/L)more effective than that of the marketed drug *** docking results illustrated the detailed interactions formed by compound 15a and WT,F227L/V106A,and RES056 ***,15a-HCl carried outstanding pharmacokinetic(t1/2 Z 1.32 h,F Z 40.8%)and safety profiles(LD_(50)>2000 mg/kg),which demonstrated that 15a HCl is a potential anti-HIV-1 drug candidate.

●AIM:To investigate the long-term changes of corneal densitometry(CD)and its contributing elements after small incision lenticule extraction(SMILE).●METHODS:Totally 31 eyes of 31 patients with mean spherical equivalent of-6.46±1.50 D and mean age 28.23±7.38y were ***-scale examinations were conducted on all patients preoperatively and during *** acuity,manifest refraction,axial length,corneal thickness,corneal higher-order aberrations,and CD were evaluated.●RESULTS:All surgeries were completed successfully without complications or adverse ***-year safety index was 1.17±0.20 and efficacy 1.04±*** value of 0–6 mm zones in central layer was statistically significantly lower 10y postoperatively,compared with preoperative values(0–2 mmΔ=-1.62,2–6 mmΔ=-1.24,Pyopia on a long-term *** values get lower 10y postoperatively,whose mechanism is to be further discussed.

Medical history summary: Male, 47 years old, was admitted to the hospital due to “dizziness accompanied by chest tightness and pain for more than 8 days”. One week ago, the patient experienced chest tightness, chest pain accompanied by profuse sweating for 3 hours and underwent emergency percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) at a local hospital. The procedure revealed left main stem occlusion with subsequent left main stem to left anterior descending artery percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA). After the procedure, the patient experienced hemodynamic instability, recurrent ventricular fibrillation, and critical condition, thus transferred to our hospital for further treatment. Symptoms and signs: The patient is in a comatose state, unresponsive to stimuli, with bilateral dilated pupils measuring 2.0 mm, exhibiting reduced sensitivity to light reflex, and recurrent fever. Coarse breath sounds can be heard in both lungs, with audible moist rales. Irregular breathing pattern is observed, and heart sounds vary in intensity. No pathological murmurs are auscultated in any valve auscultation area. Diagnostic methods: Coronary angiography results at the local hospital showed complete occlusion of the left main stem, and left main stem to left anterior descending artery percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) was performed. However, the distal guidewire did not pass through. After admission, blood tests showed a Troponin T level of 1.44 ng/ml and a Myoglobin level of 312 ng/ml. The platelet count was 1390 × 109/L. Von Willebrand factor (vWF) activity was measured at 201.9%. Bone marrow aspiration biopsy showed active bone marrow proliferation and platelet clustering. The peripheral blood smear also showed platelet clustering. JAK-2 gene testing was positive, confirming the diagnosis of primary thrombocytosis.
