Effect of yttrium on catalytic performance of y-doped TiO_(2) catalysts for propane dehydrogenation

Defective bulk catalysts based on TiO_(2) have superior catalytic performance for propane dehydrogenation(PDH).The oxygen vacancy concentration and the number of active sites on the catalyst surface can be effectively tuned by doping metal in TiO_(2).Herein,yttrium(y)-doped titanium dioxide(ny/TiO_(x))catalysts were in-situ synthesized via the coprecipitation method to study the effect of rare earth metal y doping on the structure of TiO_(2) and the catalytic performance for *** results demonstrate that ydoped TiO_(2) exhibits higher catalytic activity,propylene selectivity and stability than bare TiO_(2).Full characterizations with X-ray diffraction(XRD),high-resolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),infrared spectroscopy of pyridine adsorption(Py-IR),temperature-programmed desorption of ammonia(NH_(3)-TPD),H_(2) temperature-programmed reduction(H_2-TPR),and Raman techniques on these catalysts reveal that y^(3+)can enter TiO_(2) lattice,and the lattice stability of the catalyst can be enhanced by replacing Ti^(4+)to form y-O-Ti ***,the introduction of an appropriate amount of y can obviously promote the PDH reaction by adjusting the acidity of the catalyst,improving the release capacity of TiO_(2) lattice oxygen and increasing the formation of active ***,excessive y doping will lead to pore clogging,and the exposure of active sites will be reduced,resulting in the degradation of catalytic performance.

Numerical Study on Local Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics of Supercritical CO_(2) in PCHE with Sinusoidal Channels

Local heat transfer and flow characteristics,which is crucial to the overall performance of supercritical CO_(2) recuperators,is rarely examined in details in reported *** this paper,the local heat transfer and flow characteristics of supercritical CO_(2) in sinusoidal channel printed circuit heat exchangers are numerically investigated under the working conditions of *** on the simplified physical model constituted by10 pitches,the variations of Re,heat flux,Nu,secondary flow and other relevant parameters along the flow direction are analyzed *** is further made between the high and low temperature recuperators(HTR and LTR).It's observed that the local heat transfer and flow characteristics vary greatly from the inlet to the outlet,especially in the *** of 127.5% and 61.7% can be observed on the cold side of the LTR for Re and heat transfer coefficient h, *** indicate that the temperature difference and heat transfer coefficient h should not be regarded as constant and the distribution of h should be carefully considered in the design of the *** complicated interactions among the vary.ng thermophysical properties,buoyancy and the periodically changed centrifugal force are believed to be the key that shapes the flow ***,the changes of the wavy angle θ are found to have greater influence than the changes of mass flow rate in reshaping the flow field when θ>25°.Though gravity direction strongly affects the local heat transfer and flow characteristics,it's also found that the effects on the overall thermal-hydraulic performance are relatively *** the installation direction that yields a_y=g should better be avoided for the sinusoidal channel printed circuit heat exchanger.

One-shot face reenactment is a challenging task due to the identity mismatch between source and driving *** existing methods fail to completely eliminate the interference of driving subjects’identity information,which may lead to face shape distortion and undermine the realism of reenactment *** solve this problem,in this paper,we propose using a 3D morphable model(3DMM)for explicit facial semantic decomposition and identity *** of using 3D coefficients alone for reenactment control,we take advantage of the generative ability of 3DMM to render textured face *** proxies contain abundant yet compact geometric and semantic information of human faces,which enables us to compute the face motion field between source and driving images by estimating the dense *** this way,we can approximate reenactment results by warping source images according to the motion field,and a generative adversarial network(GAN)is adopted to further improve the visual quality of warping *** experiments on various datasets demonstrate the advantages of the proposed method over existing state-of-the-art benchmarks in both identity preservation and reenactment fulfillment.

Accelerating lithium-sulfur battery reaction kinetics and inducing 3D deposition of li_(2)S using interactions between Fe_(3)Se_(4)and lithium polysulfides

Although lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)exhibit high theoretical energy density,their practical application is hindered by poor conductivity of the sulfur cathode,the shuttle effect,and the irreversible deposition of li_(2)*** address these issues,a novel composite,using electrospinning technology,consisting of Fe_(3)Se_(4)and porous nitrogen-doped carbon nanofibers was designed for the interlayer of *** porous carbon nanofiber structure facilitates the transport of ions and electrons,while the Fe_(3)Se_(4)material adsorbs lithium polysulfides(liPSs)and accelerates its catalytic conversion ***,the Fe_(3)Se_(4)material interacts with soluble liPSs to generate a new polysulfide intermediate,li_(x)FeS_(y)complex,which changes the electrochemical reaction pathway and facilitates the three-dimensional deposition of li_(2)S,enhancing the reversibility of *** designed LSB demonstrates a high specific capacity of1529.6 mA h g^(-1)in the first cycle at 0.2 *** rate performance is also excellent,maintaining an ultra-high specific capacity of 779.7 mA h g^(-1)at a high rate of 8 *** investigation explores the mechanism of the interaction between the interlayer and liPSs,and provides a new strategy to regulate the reaction kinetics and li_(2)S deposition in LSBs.

The biological signaling molecule nitric oxide(NO)has recently emerged as a metabolic precursor for the creation of microbial natural products with diversified structures and biological *** the biosynthetic gene clusters(BGCs)of these compounds,genes associated with NO production pathways have been *** this study,we employ a nitric oxide synthase(NOS)-guided genome mining strategy for the targeted discovery of NO-derived bacterial natural products and NO-utilizing *** show that a conserved NOS-containing BGC,distributed across several actinobacterial genomes,is responsible for the biosynthesis of lajollamycin,a unique nitro-tetraene-containing antibiotic whose biosynthetic mechanism remains *** a combination of in vivo and in vitro studies,we unveil the first cytochrome P450 enzyme capable of catalyzing olefin nitration in natural product *** results not only expand the current knowledge about biosynthetic nitration processes but also offer an efficient way for targeted identification of NO-utilizing metabolic pathways and novel nitrating biocatalysts.
