Almost all the neutralizing antibodies targeting the receptor-binding domain(RBD)of spike(S)protein show weakened or lost efficacy against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)emerged or emerging variants,such as Omicron and its *** suggests that highly conserved epitopes are crucial for the development of neutralizing ***,we present one nanobody,N235,displaying broad neutralization against the SARS-CoV-2 prototype and multiple variants,including the newly emerged Omicron and its ***-electron microscopy demonstrates N235 binds a novel,conserved,cryptic epitope in the N-terminal domain(NTD)of the S protein,which interferes with the RBD in the neighboring S *** neutralization mechanism interpreted via flow cytometry and Western blot shows that N235 appears to induce the S1 subunit shedding from the trimeric S ***,a nano-IgM construct(MN235),engineered by fusing N235 with the human IgM fc region,displays prevention via inducing S1 shedding and cross-linking virus *** to N235,MN235 exhibits varied enhancement in neutralization against pseudotyped and authentic viruses in *** intranasal administration of MN235 in low doses can effectively prevent the infection of Omicron sub-variant BA.1 and XBB in vivo,suggesting that it can be developed as a promising prophylactic antibody to cope with the ongoing and future infection.

Performance evaluation of seven multi-label classification methods on real-world patent and publication datasets

Simultaneously enhancing ionic conductivity and interfacial stability by fe_(2)O_(3) for solid-state sodium metal batteries

NASICON-structured Na_(3)Zr_(2)Si_(2)PO_(12)(NZSP)has been considered as one of the ideal electrolytes for all-solid-state sodium metal batteries(ASSSB).However,the practical application of NZSP-based ASSSB is hindered by the low ionic conductivity and large interfacial resistance caused by the poor contact between NZSP and Na ***,the introduction of fe_(2)O_(3) not only improves ionic conductivity and reduces activation energy by the doping of fe^(3+)in the crystal structure of NZSP,but also reduces the interfacial resistance and enhances interface stability between NZSP and Na metal *** synergistic effects significantly enhance the cycling stability,rate capability,and critical current density of the symmetrical solid-state *** interfacial reaction mechanism indicates that fe3+in the interface is reduced fe2+by Na anode,which effectively even the electric-filed distribution and suppresses the dendrite ***,the symmetric solid-state cells exhibit stable cycling performance for 1,500 h at 0.1 mA·cm−1/0.1 mA·h·cm−1 and over 900 h at 0.2 mA·cm−1/0.2 mA·h·cm−*** Na|NZSP-0.075%fe_(2)O_(3)|Na_(2)fePO_(4)f solid-state full cells display high capacity retention of 94.2%after 100 cycles at 0.5 *** stable interface of NZSP/Na and improved ionic conductivity contribute to excellent electrochemical performance,which accelerates the practical application of ASSSB.

Railway switch machine is essential for maintaining the safety and punctuality of train operations.A data-driven fault diagnosis scheme for railway switch machine using tensor machine and multi-representation monitoring data is developed *** existing methods,this approach takes into account the spatial information of the time series monitoring data,aligning with the domain expertise of on-site manual ***,a multi-sensor fusion tensor machine is designed to improve single signal data’s limitations in insufficient ***,one-dimensional signal data is preprocessed and transformed into two-dimensional ***,the fusion feature tensor is created by utilizing the images of the three-phase current and employing the CANDE-COMP/PARAfAC(CP)decomposition ***,the tensor learning-based model is built using the extracted fusion feature *** developed fault diagnosis scheme is valid with the field three-phase current *** experiment indicates an enhanced performance of the developed fault diagnosis scheme over the current approach,particularly in terms of recall,precision,and f1-score.

We study a problem called the k-means problem with penalties(k-MPWP),which is a natural generalization of the typical k-means *** this problem,we have a set D of client points in R^(d),a set f of possible centers in R^(d),and a penalty cost Pj>O for each point j∈*** are also given an integer k which is the size of the center point *** want to find a center point set S■f with size k,choose a penalized subset of clients P■D,and assign every client in D\P to its open *** goal is to minimize the sum of the squared distances between every point in D\P to its assigned centre point and the sum of the penalty costs for all clients in *** using the multi-swap local search technique and under the fixed-dimensional Euclidean space setting,we present a polynomial-time approximation scheme(PTAS)for the k-MPWP.

Sustainable, thermoplastic and hydrophobic coating from natural cellulose and cinnamon to fabricate eco-friendly catering packaging

Non-degradable polymers cause serious environmental pollution problem,such as the widely-used while unrecyclable coatings which signiﬁcantly affect the overall degradation performance of *** is imperative and attractive to develop biodegradable functional ***,we proposed a novel strategy to successfully prepare biodegradable,thermoplastic and hydrophobic coatings with high transparence and biosafety by weakening the interchain interactions between cellulose *** natural cellulose and cinnamic acid were as raw *** reducing the degree of polymerization(DP)of cellulose and regulating the degree of substitution(DS)of cinnamate moiety,the obtained cellulose cinnamate(CC)exhibited not only the thermalﬂow behavior but also good biodegradability,which solves the conﬂict between the thermoplasticity and biodegradability in cellulose-based *** glass transition temperature(T_(g))and thermalﬂow temperature(T_(f))of the CC could be adjusted in a range of 150–200℃ and 180–210℃,*** CC with DSfter an enzyme treatment for 7 days,and degraded more than 80%after a composting treatment for 42 ***,CC had no toxicity to human epidermal cells even at a high concentration(0.5 mg mL^(-1)).In addition,CC could be easily fabricated into multifunctional coating with high hydrophobicity,thermal adhesion and high ***,after combining with cellophane and paperboard,CC coating with low DP and DS could be used to prepare fully-biodegradable heat-sealing packaging,art paper,paper cups,paper straws and food packaging boxes.

Span-based joint entity and relation extraction augmented with sequence tagging mechanism

Span-based joint extraction simultaneously conducts named entity recognition(NER) and relation extraction(RE) in a text span form. However, since previous span-based models rely on span-level classifications, they cannot benefit from token-level label information, which has been proven advantageous for the task. In this paper, we propose a sequence tagging augmented span-based network(STSN), a spanbased joint model that can make use of token-level label information. In STSN, we construct a core neural architecture by deep stacking multiple attention layers, each of which consists of three basic attention *** the one hand, the core architecture enables our model to learn token-level label information via the sequence tagging mechanism and then uses the information in the span-based joint extraction; on the other hand, it establishes a bi-directional information interaction between NER and RE. Experimental results on three benchmark datasets show that STSN consistently outperforms the strongest baselines in terms of f1,creating new state-of-the-art results.

Due to the mutual repulsion between their hydrophilic surface terminations and the high surface energy facilitating their ran-dom restacking,2D MXene nanosheets usually cannot self-assemble into 3D macroscopic gels with various applications in the absence of proper linking *** this work,a rapid spontaneous gelation of Ti3C2Tx MXene with a very low dispersion concentration of 0.5 mg mL^(-1) into multifunctional architectures under moderate centrifugation is *** as-prepared MXene gels exhibit reconfigurable internal structures and tunable rheological,tribological,electrochemical,infrared-emissive and photothermal-conversion properties based on the pH-induced changes in the surface chemistry of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) *** adopting a gel with optimized pH value,high lubrication,exceptional specific capacitances(~635 and~408 f g^(-1) at 5 and 100 mV s^(-1),respectively),long-term capacitance retention(~96.7%after 10,000 cycles)and high-precision screen-or extrusion-printing into different high-resolution anticounterfeiting patterns can be achieved,thus displaying extensive potential applications in the fields of semi-solid lubrication,control-lable devices,supercapacitors,information encryption and infrared camouflaging.

Metal-Organic framework Enabling Poly(Vinylidene fluoride)-Based Polymer Electrolyte for Dendrite-free and Long-Lifespan Sodium Metal Batteries

Sodium dentrite formed by uneven plating/stripping can reduce the utilization of active sodium with poor cyclic stability and,more importantly,cause internal short circuit and lead to thermal runaway and ***,sodium dendrites and their related problems seriously hinder the practical application of sodium metal batteries(SMBs).Herein,a design concept for the incorporation of metal-organic framework(MOf)in polymer matrix(polyvinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene)is practiced to prepare a novel gel polymer electrolyte(PH@MOf polymer-based electrolyte[GPE])and thus to achieve high-performance *** addition of the MOf particles can not only reduce the movement hindrance of polymer chains to promote the transfer of Na^(+)but also anchor anions by virtue of their negative charge to reduce polarization during electrochemical reaction.A stable cycling performance with tiny overpotential for over 800 h at a current density of 5 mA cm^(-2)with areal capacity of 5 mA h cm^(-2)is achieved by symmetric cells based on the resulted GPE while the Na_(3)V_(2)O_(2)(PO_(4))_(2)f@rGO(NVOPf)|PH@MOf|Nacell also displays impressive specific cycling capacity(113.3 mA h g^(-1)at 1 C)and rate capability with considerable capacity retention.
