Lamellar quasi-solid electrolyte with nanoconfined deep eutectic solvent for high-performance lithium battery

Electrolytes with high-efficiency lithium-ion transfer and reliable safety are of great importance for lithium *** having superior ionic conductivity(10^(−3)–10^(−2) S·cm^(−1)),traditional liquid-state electrolytes always suffer from low lithium-ion transference number(tLi+y ***,the deep eutectic solvent(DES)is vacuum-filtered into the~1 nm interlayer channel of vermiculite(Vr)lamellar framework to fabricate a quasi-solid electrolyte(Vr-DES QSE).We demonstrate that the nanoconfinement effect of interlayer channel could facilitate the opening of solvation shell around ***,the interaction from channel wall could inhibit the movement of *** enable high-efficiency lithium-ion transfer:2.61×10^(−4)S·cm^(−1)at 25℃.Importantly,the tLi+value reaches 0.63,which is 4.5 times of that of bulk DES,and much higher than most present liquid/quasi-solid *** addition,Vr-DES QSE shows significantly improved interfacial stability with Li anode as compared with *** assembled Li symmetric cell can operate stably for 1000 h at 0.1 mA·cm^(−2).The lithium iron phosphate(LFP)|Vr-DES QSE|Li cell exhibits high capacity of 142.1 mAh·g^(−1)after 200 cycles at 25℃ and 0.5 c,with a capacity retention of 94.5%.The strategy of open solvation shell through nanoconfinement effect of lamellar framework may shed light on the development of advanced electrolytes.

Achieving highly regioselective synthesis in organic chemistry is challenging due to the uncontrollable orientation between reacting *** electric fields(EEFs)can influence the reactivity and selectivity of the substrate by causing directional ***,scalable and efficient techniques for using EEFs as“smart catalysts”have been lacking,hindering their *** this study,we present a novel method for modifying the regioselectivity of quinoxaline-2(1H)-ones by functionalizing their c7-position using the electric double layer(EDL)*** approach led to moderate to good yields of the corresponding c7-thiocyanation *** calculations and control experiments demonstrated that EEFs could reverse the regioselectivity of quinoxaline-2(1H)-ones,allowing the c7-thiocyanation to proceed via a radical reaction ***,the resulting 7-thiocyano-1-methylquinoxaline-2(1H)-ones exhibited promising AIE *** work showcases a promising strategy for achieving highly regioselective functionalization by aligning the electric field with the desired reaction/bond axis.

Lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs)are considered promising candidates for next-generation battery technologies owing to their outstanding theoretical energy density and ***,the low conductivity and polysulfide shuttling effect of S cathodes severely hamper the practical performance of ***,in situ-generated single layer MXene nanosheet/hierarchical porous carbonized wood fiber(MX/PcWF)composites are prepared via a nonhazardous eutectic activation strategy coupled with pyrolysis-induced gas *** unique architecture,wherein single layer MXene nanosheets are constructed on carbonized wood fiber walls,ensures rapid polysulfide conversion and continuous electron transfer for redox *** c-Ti-c bonds formed between MXene and PcWF can considerably expedite the conversion of polysulfides,effectively suppressing the shuttle *** impressive capacity of 1301.1 m A h g^(-1)at 0.5 c accompanied by remarkable stability is attained with the MX/PcWF host,as evidenced by the capacity maintenance of 722.6 m A h g^(-1)after 500 ***,the MX/PcWF/S cathode can still deliver a high capacity of 886.8 m A h g^(-1)at a high S loading of 5.6 mg cm^(-2).The construction of two-dimensional MXenes on natural wood fiber walls offers a competitive edge over S-based cathode materials and demonstrates a novel strategy for developing high-performance batteries.

This study aims to improve the performances of the high-pressure water descaling technology used in steel hot rolling *** particular,a 2050 mm hot rolling line is considered,and the problem is investigated by means of a fluid–structure interaction(FSI)method by which the descaling effect produced by rolling coils with different section sizes is *** a flat fan-shaped nozzle at the entrance of the R1R2 roughing mill,the outflow field characteristics and the velocity distribution curve on the strike line(at a target distance of 30–120 mm)are *** is found that the velocity in the center region of the water jet with different target distances is higher than that in the boundary *** the target distance increases,the velocity of the water jet in the central region *** comparison with experimental results,it is shown that the simulation model can accurately predict the impact position of the high-pressure water on the impact plate,thereby providing a computational scheme that can be used to optimize the nozzle space layout and improve the slabs’descent effect for different rolling specifications.

Leaves are important‘source’organs that synthesize organic matter,providing carbon sources for plant ***,we used Populus talassica×Populus euphratica,the dominant species in ecological and timber forests,to simulate carbon limitation through artiﬁcial 25%,50%,and 75%defoliation treatments and explore the effects on root,stem,and leaf morphology,biomass accumulation,and carbon allocation *** the 60th d after treat-ment,under 25%defoliation treatment,the plant height,speciﬁc leaf weight,root surface area and volume,and concentrations of non-structural carbohydrates in stem and root were signiﬁcantly increased by 9.13%,20.00%,16.60%,31.95%,5.12%,and 9.34%,respectively,relative to the *** was no signiﬁcant change in the growth indicators under 50%defoliation treatment,but the concentrations of non-structural carbohydrates in the leaf and stem signiﬁcantly decreased,showing mostly a negative correlation between *** opposite was observed in the *** 75%defoliation treatment,the plant height,ground diameter,leaf number,single leaf area,root,stem,and total biomass were signiﬁcantly reduced by 14.15%,10.24%,14.86%,11.31%,11.56%,21.87%,and 16.82%,respectively,relative to the *** concentrations of non-structural carbohydrates in various organs were signiﬁcantly reduced,particularly in the consumption of the starch concentrations in the stem and *** results indicated that carbon allocation strategies can be adjusted to increase the con-centration of non-structural carbohydrates in root and meet plant growth needs under 25%and 50%***,75%defoliation signiﬁcantly limited the distribution of non-structural carbohydrates to roots and stems,reduced carbon storage,and thus inhibited plant ***-induced carbon limitation altered the carbon allocation pattern of ***×***,and the relationship between carbon reserves in roots and tree growth recovery after defoliation was *** study

Using the plate/shell elements in commercial software,accurate analysis of interlaminar initial damage in typical composite structures is still a challenging *** propose an accurate and efficient model for analysis of interlaminar initial damage,the following work is carried out:(A)A higher-order theory is firstly proposed by introducing the local Legendre polynomials,and then a novel shell element containing initial damage prediction is developed,which can directly predict transverse shear stresses without any postprocessing *** variables at each node are independent of number of layers,so the proposed model is more efficient than the 3D-FEM.(B)compression experiment is carried out to verify the capability of the proposed *** results obtained from the proposed model are in good agreement with experimental data.(c)Several examples have been analyzed to further assess the capability of the proposed model by comparing to the 3D-FEM ***,accuracy and efficiency have been evaluated in different damage criterion by comparing with the selected *** numerical results show that the proposed model can well predict the initial interlaminar damage as well as other ***,the model is implemented with UEL subroutine,so that the present approach can be readily utilized to analyze the initial damage in typical composite structures.

This paper investigates a nonlocal dispersal epidemic model under the multiple nonlocal distributed delays and nonlinear incidence ***,the minimal wave speed c*and the basic reproduction number Ro are defined,which determine the existence of traveling wave ***,with the help of the upper and lower solutions,Schauder's fixed point theorem,and limiting techniques,the traveling waves satisfying some asymptotic boundary conditions are ***,when Ro>1,for every speed c>c^(*) there exists a traveling wave solution satisfying the boundary conditions,and there is no such traveling wave solution for any 0cc^(*) when R_(0)>1 or c>0 when R_(0)yze the effects of nonlocal time delay on the minimum wave speed.
