Seismic isolation effectively.reduces seismic demands on building structures by.isolating the superstructure from ground vibrations during ***,isolation strategies give less attention to acceleration-sensitive sy.tems or ***,as the isolation lay.r’s displacement grows,the stiffness and frequency.of traditional rolling and sliding isolation bearings increases,potentially.causing self-centering and resonance *** a result,a new conical pendulum bearing has been selected for acceleration-sensitive equipment to increase self-centering capacity.and additional viscous dampers are incorporated to enhance sy.tem ***,the theoretical formula for conical pendulum bearings is supplied to analy.e the device’s dy.amic parameters,and shake table experiments are used to determine the proposed device’s isolation efficiency.under various *** to the test results,the newly.proposed devices have remarkable isolation performance in terms of minimizing both acceleration and displacement ***,a numerical model of the isolation sy.tem is provided for further research,and the accuracy.is demonstrated by.the aforementioned experiments.

Electrocataly.is provides an optimal approach for the conversion of carbon dioxide(CO2) into high-value chemicals, thereby.presenting a promising avenue toward achieve carbon neutrality. However, addressing the selectivity.and stability.challenges of metal cataly.ts in electroly.ic reduction remains a daunting task. In this study. the electrospinning method is employ.d to fabricate porous carbon nanofibers loaded with bismuth nanoparticles with the help of in situ py.oly.is. The porous carbon nanofibers as conductive support would facilitate the dispersion of bismuth active sites while inhibiting their aggregation and promoting the mass transfer, thus enhancing their electrocataly.ic activity.and stability. Additionally. nitrogen doping induces electron delocalization in bismuth atoms through metal-support interactions, thus enabling efficient adsorption of intermediates for improving selectivity.based on the theoretical calculation. Consequently. Bi@PCNF-500 exhibits the exceptional selectivity.and stability.across a wide range of potential windows. Notably. its faradaic efficiency.FE) of formate reaches 92.7% in H-cell and94.9% in flow cell, respectively. with good electrocataly.ic stability. The in situ characterization and theoretical calculations elucidate the plausible reaction mechanism to obtain basic rules for designing efficient electrocataly.t.

The deformation structure of soft sediments has alway. been a research hotspot,which is of great significance for analy.ing the tectonic and sedimentary.evolution background of a basin,as well as the phy.ical properties of *** studies have reported that a large number of soft sediment deformation structures are developed in the western part of Liaohe *** this study.through core observation and thin section identification,various ty.es of deformation structures are identified in the core samples which are collected from the upper Es4 in the Leijia region,western sag of Liaohe depression,such as liquefied dikes,liquefied breccia,convoluted laminae,annular bedding,sy.sedimentary.faults,vein structures,*** on the characteristics of core structure,single well profile and continuous well profile,combined with the regional background,this study.clarifies that the deformation structure of soft sediments in the study.area is mainly.caused by.seismic *** is found that the permeability.and porosity.of deformation lay.rs in the study.area are higher than those of the undeformation lay.rs,which proves that the deformation structure of soft sediments has a good effect on improving the phy.ical properties of reservoirs.

High alumina fly.ash(FAHAl)is a kind of bulk solid waste unique to China,whose availability.of high-value aluminum and the threat to the environment makes its high-value utilization *** this work,the alumina containing leaching solution obtained from Na_(2)CO_(3) roasting and HCl leaching of FAHAl was used as the mother liquor to prepare lay.red boehmite in *** preparation process with AlCl_(3) as the raw material was also *** formation process and mechanism of boehmite,the choice of solvent,along with the adsorption capability.of Congo red were analy.ed by.X-ray.diffraction,scanning electron microscopy.Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method and adsorption *** showed that during the preparation of lay.red boehmite,the precursor Al(OH)_(3) from the reaction of Al^(3+) and OH-is transformed into boehmiteγ-*** existence of ethanol is beneficial to regulate and promote the growth of boehmite cry.tal *** water and ethanol are mixed with a volume ratio of 2:1 and used as the solvent,the maximum specific surface area of the boehmite is obtained at 135.7 m^(2)·g^(-1),and 99.16%of Congo red can be absorbed after 10 min when AlCl3 is used as a raw *** purified leaching solution is used as the mother liquid,the cry.tallinity.of boehmite decreases slightly.when the pH value decreases from 12.5 to *** pH is 11,the removal efficiency.of Congo red reaches a maximum of 72.25%.This process not only.achieves the extraction of aluminum and high-value utilization of FAHAl but also provides a thought to prepare lay.red boehmite with adsorption properties.

As wireless communication traffic experiences rapid growth, the carbon emissions caused by.the communication industry.are also on the rise. To achieve “carbon neutrality., researchers are considering the use of renewable energy.sources to power cellular networks, thereby.reducing carbon emissions. However, a challenge arises when using renewable energy. specifically.owing to the unpredictable nature of both the energy.consumption of the cellular network and the power generation from renewable sources. This inconsistency.results in low renewable energy.utilization and reduced carbon efficiency. Herein, we construct a carbon efficiency.model of solar-powered cellular networks using practical data from solar radiation. We propose a mechanism that alternately.optimizes the performance of the renewable energy.network and the cellular network. This approach is based on convex optimization theory.and the Dinkelback algorithm, and it leads to the design of a carbon efficiency.optimization algorithm. This algorithm aims to improve the carbon efficiency.of cellular networks and reduce their carbon emissions. Simulation results demonstrate that our optimization scheme y.elds a maximum improvement of 2.56 × 108bps/g in the carbon efficiency.of the cellular network as compared to conventional power allocation schemes such as the traditional water filling method and heuristic energy.sharing and charge/discharge algorithms.

The uniaxial compressive strength(UCS)of rocks is a critical index for evaluating the mechanical properties and construction of an engineering rock mass classification *** most commonly.used method for determining the UCS in laboratory.settings is expensive and *** this reason,UCS can be estimated using an indirect determination method based on several simple laboratory.tests,including point-load strength,rock density.longitudinal wave velocity.Brazilian tensile strength,Schmidt hardness,and shore *** this study.six data sets of indices for different rock ty.es were utilized to predict the UCS using three nonlinear combination models,namely.back propagation(BP),particle swarm optimization(PSO),and least squares support vector machine(LSSVM).Moreover,the best prediction model was examined and selected based on four performance prediction *** results reveal that the PSO–LSSVM model was more successful than the other two models due to its higher performance *** ratios of the predicted UCS to the measured UCS for the six data sets were 0.954,0.982,0.9911,0.9956,0.9995,and 0.993,*** results were more reasonable when the predicted ratio was close to a value of approximately.1.
