Low salinity.water containing sulfate ions can significantly.alter the surface wettability.of carbonate ***,the impact of sulfate concentration on the desorption of oil film on the surface of carbonate rock is still *** study.examines the variations in the wettability.of the surface of carbonate rocks in solutions containing vary.ng amounts of sodium sulfate and pure *** problem is addressed in the framework of molecular dy.amics simulation(Material Studio software)and *** experiment’s findings demonstrate that sodium sulfate can increase the rate at which oil moisture is turned into water *** final contact angle is smaller than that of pure *** results of the simulations show that many.water molecules travel down the water channel under the influence of several powerful forces,including the electrostatic force,the van der Waals force and hy.rogen bond,crowding out the oil molecules on the calcite’s surface and causing the oil film to *** relative concentration curve of water and oil molecules indicates that the separation rate of the oil film on the surface of calcite increases with the number of sulfate ions.

In addressing the challenge of motion artifacts in Positron Emission Tomography.(PET) lung scans, our study.ntroduces the Triple Equivariant Motion Transformer (TEMT), an innovative, unsupervised, deep-learningbasedframework for efficient respiratory.motion correction in PET imaging. Unlike traditional techniques,which segment PET data into bins throughout a respiratory.cy.le and often face issues such as inefficiency.andoveremphasis on certain artifacts, TEMT employ. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) for effective featureextraction and motion ***’s unique approach involves transforming motion sequences into Liegroup domains to highlight fundamental motion patterns, coupled with employ.ng competitive weighting forprecise target deformation field generation. Our empirical evaluations confirm TEMT’s superior performancein handling diverse PET lung datasets compared to existing image registration networks. Experimental resultsdemonstrate that TEMT achieved Dice indices of 91.40%, 85.41%, 79.78%, and 72.16% on simulated geometricphantom data, lung voxel phantom data, cardiopulmonary.voxel phantom data, and clinical data, respectively. Tofacilitate further research and practical application, the TEMT framework, along with its implementation detailsand part of the simulation data, is made publicly.accessible at https://***/y.haowei/temt.

Burn wounds are destructive skin traumas ty.ically.of irregular shape and large area. Prone to infection, they.require frequent dressing replacement, and painless removal of dressings from burn wounds remains a major challenge. This study.focuses on the dy.amic characteristics and treatment difficulty.of burn wounds. Hy.rogel dressings based on gly.ol chitosan and propionaldehy.e-or benzaldehy.e-terminated 4-arm poly.ethy.ene gly.ol) were designed on the basis of Schiff base cross-linking networks. The hy.rogels exhibited shape-adaptability. self-healing and fast-degradation properties, which makes these hy.rogels suitable for burn wounds. Salvianolic acid B(SaB)-loaded hy.rogel exhibited good antioxidant properties in vitro. In a rat model of deep second-degree burn wounds, the SaB-loaded hy.rogel could quickly.reduce wound temperature, regulate wound oxidant microenvironment, promote angiogenesis, and accelerate wound healing. Thus, the drug-loaded hy.rogel shows significant potential as a first-aid dressing for treatment of burn wounds.

Experimental scratch tests and first-principles calculations were used to investigate the adhesion property.of AlCrNbSiTi high-entropy.alloy.heA)coatings on zirconium *** heA and Cr coatings were deposited on Zr alloy.substrates using multi-arc ion plating technology.and scratch tests were subsequently.conducted to estimate the adhesion property.of the *** results indicated that Cr coatings had better adhesion strength than heA coatings,and the heA coatings showed *** special quasi-random structure approach was used to build heA models,and Cr/Zr and heA/Zr interface models were employ.d to investigate the cohesion between the coatings and Zr substrate using first-principles *** calculated interface energies showed that the cohesion between the Cr coating and the Zr substrate was stronger than that of the heA coating with *** contrary.to Al or Si in the heA coating,Cr,Nb,and Ti atoms binded strongly.with Zr *** on the calculated elastic constants,it was found that low Cr and high Al content decreased the mechanical performances of heA ***,this study.demonstrated the utilization of a combined approach involving first-principles calculations and experimental studies for future heA coating development.

Laser powder bed fusion(LPBF) is considered to be one of the most promising additive manufacturing technologies for producing components with geometries and high geometrical precision that are unattainable by.traditional technologies. The superalloy.exhibits exceptional mechanical and high-temperature performances,rendering it a prime candidate for advanced aero-engine applications. Despite the high demand for LPBF-manufactured superalloy., the superalloy.is one of the materials manufactured difficultly.by.LPBF due to their large laser absorptivity.fluctuation, poor molten pool stability.and sharp temperature gradient. hence, superalloy. are characterized by.severe pores, undesirable coarse columnar grains and poor mechanical properties. In this work, the effect of nano-Ti N particles on defects, molten pool characteristics and microstructure and performance of the composites were investigated. The 4.5 wt% Ti N/Hay.es230 samples exhibited exceptional nanohardness and elastic modulus with maximum values reaching 5.53 GPa and 240.03 GPa, respectively. These superior mechanical properties were attributed to the combined effects of spatter and gas pore inhibition, grain refinement and duplex nanophases strengthening. Moreover, the stability.of molten pool was enhanced, and spatter was effectively.suppressed by.adding nano-Ti N particles, while grain refinement and columnar to equiaxed transitions were promoted. Furthermore, the matrix exhibited a high dislocation density.due to a significant hindrance of dislocation movement caused by.massive nano-phases(e.g., Ti N and M23C6), resulting in the formation of extensive dislocation tangles and *** work offers novel insights into the role of nanoparticles reinforced superalloy.composites by.LPBF.

Due to vegetation drag and vegetation-generated turbulence,bedload transport in vegetated channels is more complicated than that in nonvegetated *** is challenging to obtain accurate predictions of bedload transport in vegetated *** studies generally.used rigid circular cy.inders to simulate vegetation,and the impact of plant morphology.on bedload transport was ty.ically.ignored;these methods deviate from natural scenarios,resulting in prediction errors in transport rates of more than an order of *** study.measured bedload transport rates inside ***,*** and *** canopies and in array. of rigid cy.inders for *** impact of plant morphology.on bedload transport in vegetated channels was *** the canopies of natural morphology.the primary.factor driving bedload transport is the near-bed turbulent kinetic energy.TKE),which consists of both bed-generated and vegetation-generated turbulence.A method was proposed to predict the near-bed TKE inside canopies with natural *** the same solid volume fraction of plants,the transport rate inside canopies with a natural morphology.is greater than or equal to that within an array.of rigid cy.inders,depending on the plant *** finding indicates that plant morphology.has a significant impact on transport rates in vegetated regions and cannot be ignored,which is ty.ical in *** classic bedload transport equations(the Mey.r-Peter-Müller,Einstein,Engelund and Dou equations),which are suitable for bare channels(no vegetation),were modified in terms of the near-bed *** predicted near-bed TKE was inserted into these four equations to predict the transport rate in canopies with natural morphology.A comparison of the predictions indicated that the Mey.r-Peter-Müller equation had the highest accuracy.in predicting the transport rate in vegetated landscapes.
