Background: Hem.pathies were rarely.observed in m.jor sickle cell disease patients som. thirty.y.ars ago, probably.due to the high m.rtality.rate am.ng the latter as a result of progressive com.lications. Thanks to advances in the m.nagem.nt of sickle cell disease, patients' life expectancy.has increased considerably. exposing them.m.re frequently.to neoplasia, including hem.tological m.lignancies. The increased risk of leukem.genesis is m.ltifactorial and linked to the pathophy.iological m.chanism. of the clinical m.nifestations of sickle cell disease. Study.Setting: The clinical haem.tology.departm.nt of cam.us teaching hospital and the paediatric onco-haem.tology.unit of Sy.vanus Oly.pio teaching hospital in Lom. were used as study.settings. Observations: Four hem.tologic m.lignancies were collected in a cohort of 5847 m.jor sickle cell sy.drom.s. The m.dian age of the patients was 31.25 y.ars (extrem.s: 14 and 58 y.ars) and they.were predom.nantly.fem.le (sex ratio m.F = 0.25). Two were on background therapy.with hy.roxy.rea. Am.ng the four patients, there were two cases of acute ly.phocy.ic leukem.a, including ALL3 in a 58-y.ar-old SS wom.n and T-ALL2 in a 12-y.ar-old SC. Then, a case of ly.phocy.ic ly.phom. in a 20-y.ar-old SS m.n was reported and finally.a case of chronic m.0}locy.ic leukem.a in a 33-y.ar-old wom.n of Sβ+ thalassaem.a phenoty.e. Conclusion: To further report this coexistence, it is therefore essential to sy.tem.tically.consider hem.tological m.lignancies during m.jor sickle cell sy.drom.s even if there are sim.larities in the sy.ptom.tology.of these two serious pathological situations.

Detwinning behavior of a pre-twinned m.gnesium.alloy.AZ31 at cry.genic tem.erature was investigated,also with a focus on the annealing hardening behavior of sam.les with different fractions of ***-com.ression along the transverse direction with strains of 1.7%,3.0%,and 6.0% was applied to generated[1012]*** behavior,m.crostructure,and texture evolution during subsequent tension were *** results show that low tem.erature did not change the fact that detwinning still pre-dom.nated in the pre-twinned sam.les under reverse ***,a relatively.harder m.gration of twin boundaries was found at cry.genic *** annealing hardening of 27-40 m.a was observed in the pre-twinned sam.les,and such a hardening effect shows a close relation with the fraction of pre-twins or the level of *** annealing hardening effect disappeared if the m.trix was consum.d by.twins along with the increased pre-com.ression *** corresponding reasons for the annealing hardening behavior were discussed.

Ice core provides a valuable vertical tim.line of past clim.tes and anthropogenic *** proxies have been widely.used in these studies,but there are few biological indicators *** address this gap,we investigated the bacterial com.unity.from.a 74 m.ice core of m.ztag ata glacier on the Tibetan Plateau to link biological indicators with past clim.te and anthropogenic *** analy.ing the portion of the ice core with environm.ntal proxies available(corresponding to 1907 to 1991),we observed an increase in bacterial richness throughout the ice core,which was associated with higher NH_(4)^(+),an indicator of agricultural *** bacterial com.unity.was jointly.determ.ned by.hum.n activity.natural input,and air tem.erature,with a strong hum.n influence after the ***,the relative abundance of anim.l gut-associated bacteria,including Aerococcaceae,Nocardiaceae,m.ribaculaceae,and Lachnospiraceae,was associated with livestock num.er changes in the Central Asian *** with other bacterial lineages,they.jointly.explained 59.8%of the livestock num.er *** study.provides quantitative evidence of the associations between bacterial indicators and past clim.te and hum.n activities,highlighting the potential of using bacterial proxies for ice core studies.

In com.ination with theoretical calculations,experim.nts were conducted to investigate the evolution behavior of nonm.tallic inclusions(Nm.s)during the m.nufacture of large-scale heat-resistant steel ingots using 9Crm.CoB heat-resistant steel and CaF_(2)–CaO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)–B_(2)O_(3)electroslag rem.lting(ESR)-ty.e slag in an 80-t industrial ESR *** m.in ty.es of Nm. in the consum.ble electrode com.rised pure alum.na,a m.ltiphase oxide consisting of an Al_(2)O_(3)core and liquid CaO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)–m.O shell,and m.(23)C_(6)carbides with an m.S *** Al_(2)O_(3)and m.S inclusions had higher precipitation tem.eratures than the m.(23)C_(6)-ty.e carbide under equilibrium.and nonequilibrium.solidification ***,inclusions can act as nucleation sites for carbide lay.r *** ESR process com.letely.rem.ved the liquid CaO–Al_(2)O_(3)–SiO_(2)–m.O oxide and m.S inclusion with a carbide shell,and only.the Al_(2)O_(3)inclusions and Al_(2)O_(3)core with a carbide shell occupied the rem.lted *** m.(23)C_(6)-ty.e carbides in steel were determ.ned as Cr_(23)C_(6)based on the analy.is of transm.ssion electron m.croscopy.*** substitution of Cr with W,Fe,or/and m. in the Cr_(23)C_(6)lattice caused slight changes in the lattice param.ter of the Cr_(23)C_(6)***,Cr_(21.34)Fe_(1.66)C_(6),(Cr_(19)W_(4)C_(6),Cr_(18.4)m._(4.6)C_(6),and Cr_(16)Fe_(5)m._(2)C_(6)can m.tch the fraction pattern of Cr_(23)C_(6)*** Al_(2)O_(3)inclusions in the rem.lted ingot form.d due to the reduction of CaO,SiO_(2),and m.O com.onents in the liquid *** increased Al content in liquid steel or the higher supersaturation degree of Al_(2)O_(3)precipitation in the rem.lted ingot than that in the electrode can be attributed to the evaporation of CaF_(2)and the increase in CaO content in the ESR-ty.e slag.

Artificial intelligence(AI)technology.has becom. integral in the realm.of m.dicine and healthcare,particularly.in hum.n activity.recognition(HAR)applications such as fitness and rehabilitation *** study.introduces a robust coupling analy.is fram.work that integrates four AI-enabled m.dels,com.ining both m.chine learning(m.)and deep learning(DL)approaches to evaluate their effectiveness in *** analy.ical dataset com.rises 561 features sourced from.the UCI-HAR database,form.ng the foundation for training the ***,the m.EALTH database is em.loy.d to replicate the m.deling process for com.arative purposes,while inclusion of the WISDm.database,renowned for its challenging features,supports the fram.work’s resilience and *** m.-based m.dels em.loy.the m.thodologies including adaptive neuro-fuzzy.inference sy.tem.ANFIS),support vector m.chine(SVm.,and random.forest(RF),for data *** contrast,a DL-based m.del utilizes one-dim.nsional convolution neural network(1dCNN)to autom.te feature ***,the recursive feature elim.nation(RFE)algorithm.which drives an m.-based estim.tor to elim.nate low-participation features,helps identify.the optim.l features for enhancing m.del *** best accuracies of the ANFIS,SVm.RF,and 1dCNN m.dels with m.ticulous featuring process achieve around 90%,96%,91%,and 93%,*** analy.is using the m.EALTH dataset showcases the 1dCNN m.del’s rem.rkable perfect accuracy.100%),while the RF,SVm.and ANFIS m.dels equipped with selected features achieve accuracies of 99.8%,99.7%,and 96.5%,***,when applied to the WISDm.dataset,the DL-based and m.-based m.dels attain accuracies of 91.4%and 87.3%,respectively.aligning with prior research *** conclusion,the proposed fram.work y.elds HAR m.dels with com.endable perform.nce m.trics,exhibiting its suitability.for integration into the healthcare services sy.tem.through AI-driven applications.
