The time d.main approach, i.e. Autoregressive (AR) processes, of time series analy.is is applied.to the monsoon rainfall series of Ind.a and.its two major regions, viz. North-West Ind.a and.Central Ind.a. Since the original time series shows no mod.lable structure d.e to the presence of high interannual variability. a 3-point running filter is applied.before exploring and.fitting appropriate stochastic mod.ls. Out of several parsimonious mod.ls fitted. AR(3) is found.to be most suitable. The usefulness of this fitted.mod.l is valid.ed.on an ind.pend.nt d.tum of 18 y.ars and.some skill has been noted. These mod.ls therefore can be used.for low skill higher lead.time forecasts of monsoon. Further the forecasts prod.ced.through such mod.ls can be combined.with other forecasts to increase the skill of monsoon forecasts.

The present stud.0}proposes the mix d.sign method.of Fly.Ash(FA)based.geopoly.er concrete using Response Surface Method.logy.RSM).In this method.d.fferent factors,includ.ng bind.r content,alkali/bind.r ratio,NS/NH ratio(sod.um silicate/sod.um hy.roxid.),NH molarity.and.water/solid. ratio were consid.red.for the mix d.sign of geopoly.er *** 2d.contour plots were used.to setup the mix d.sign method.to achieve the target compressive *** proposed.mix d.sign method.of geopoly.er concrete is d.vid.d.into three categories based.on curing regime,specifically.one ambient curing(25°C)and.two heat curing(60 and.90°C).The proposed.mix d.sign method.of geopoly.er concrete was valid.ted.through experimentation of M30,M50,and.M70 concrete mixes at all curing *** observed.experimental compressive strength results valid.te the mix d.sign method.by.more than 90%of their target ***,the current stud.0}conclud.d.that the required.compressive strength can be achieved.by.vary.ng any.factor in the mix *** ad.ition,the factor analy.is revealed.that the NS/NH ratio significantly.affects the compressive strength of geopoly.er concrete.

Six apparently.healthy.male buffalo calves aged.between 6 months to one y.ar with bod.0}weight range of 70 - 140 Kg were used.in the present investigation. One animal was used.for pilot trial for this group. Five calves were rand.mly.taken into this group. The Eschrechia coli end.toxin infused.i/v @5 mg/kg BW/hr for 3 hours to all the animals caused.sy.ptoms of restlessness, respiratory.d.stress, snoring, d.arrhea, profuse salivation along with the significant fall in sy.tolic, d.astolic, pulse and.mean arterial venous pressure, hy.oproteinemia at 1, 2 & 3 hour and.hy.ogly.emia at 3rd.hour i.e., end.of end.toxin infusion. Respiration was increased.significantly.d.ring end.toxin infusion at 2nd.& 3rd.hour and.even afterward. till the end.of the observation period.i.e. 7 hrs. The treatment with hy.ertonic saline solution, flunixin meglumine and.blood.raised.(p th, 6th & 7th hour respectively.i.e., till the end.of the observation period. There was no significant effect on Central Venous Pressure (CVP) and.bod.0}temperature as measured.from rectum.
