A nuclear astrophy.ics experiment was performed at CRIB (CNS low-energy.Radioactive-Ion Beam separator)on Mar. 2011. The goal of this experiment is to study.the reaction rate of 18Ne(,p)21Na reaction, which mightbe a key.breakout reaction from the hot CNO cy.le to rp-process in X-ray.burst and nova. y.t its reaction rate ispoorly.*** hy.rogen burning is thought to be the main source of energy.generation and a source of nucleosy.thesisin X-ray.burst and nova[1;2]. For example, XRBs are characterized by.a sudden increase of X-ray.emission withinonly.a few seconds to a total energy.output of about 1040 ergs, which is observed to repeat with some *** recurrence time for single bursts can range from hours to day. at the ty.ical temperature of 0.4～2 GK. Thebursts have been interpreted as being generated by.thermonuclear runaway.on the surface of a neutron star thataccretes H- and He-rich material from a less evolved companion star in a close binary.sy.tem. As shown in Fig. 1,under its ty.ical temperature, the hy.rogen burning in X-ray.burst occurs from the hot CNO cy.le:

Two-proton relative momentum distributions from the break-up channels 23Al→p+p+21Na and 22Mg→p+p+20Ne at an energy.of 60-70 A MeV have been measured together with two-proton opening angles at the projectile fragment separator beamline (RIPS) in the RIKEN Ring Cy.lotron Facility. The results demonstrate the existence of diproton emission component from single-step 2He for highly.excited 23Al and 22Mg.

Differential cross sections for the elastic scattering of halo nucleus 6He on proton target were measured at 82.3 MeV/u. The experimental results axe well reproduced by.optical model calculations using global potential KD02 with a reduction of the depth of real volume part by.a factor of 0.7. A sy.tematic analy.is shows that this behavior might be related to the weakly.bound property.of unstable nuclei.

Aim: To investigate whether AF1q, overexpressed in metastatic cells compared with the primary.tumor cells, play. a pivotal role in breast cancer metastasis. Methods: To investigate whether AF1q has a responsibility.in the acquisition of a metastatic phenoty.e, we performed RNA-sequencing (RNA-Seq) to identify.the gene signature and applied the Metacore direct interactions network building algorithm with the top 40 amplicons of RNA-Seq. Results: Most genes were directly.linked with intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1). Likewise, we identified that ICAM-1 expression is attenuated in metastatic cells compared to primary.tumor cells. Moreover, overexpression of AF1q attenuated ICAM-1 expression, whereas suppression of AF1q elicited the opposite effect. AF1q had an effect on ICAM-1 promoter region and regulated its transcription. Decreased ICAM-1 expression ;affected the attachment of T cells to a breast cancer cell monolay.r. We confirmed the finding by.performing the analy.is on Burkitt's ly.phoma. Conclusion: Attenuation of ICAM-1 by.AF1q on tumor cells disadvantages host anti-tumor defenses through the trafficking of ly.phocy.es, which affects tumor progression and metastasis.

Breakup reactions of the double borromean nucleus ^(8)He were measured at 82.3 MeV/u on CH2 and C *** coincident detection of two decay.ng neutrons and the high performance for neutron cross talk rejection are realized in this *** relative energy.spectrum for ^(8)He was reconstructed with good *** spectrum exhibits a structure of two resonant peaks,one at an excitation energy.of about 3.0 and the other at about 4.14 MeV,*** larger cross section for the first resonance is observed in comparison to the results reported previously.
