An ever-increas.ng market demand has.s.imulated the s.aring enthus.as. of res.archers.to develop wide-temperature s.percapacitors.s.s.. The active electrode is.one of the mos. important parts.of s., which is.directly.related to the energy.dens.ty.power trans.is.ion and long-term cy.lability.of the device in the wide-temperature environment. Compared with the s. electrodes.aimed for room-temperature application, the s. electrodes.for operating at wide-temperature s.ene often face greater challenges. In this.review, the main challenges.of s. electrodes.under various.temperature conditions. including low, high and cros.-fade temperatures. are s.mmarized. The relevant performance decay.and failure mechanis.s.of wide-temperature s. electrodes.are analy.ed. In addition, this.review deals.with the recent s.udies.and developments.in robus. wide-temperature s. electrodes.with res.ect to the rational des.gn of electrode s.ructures.and the exploitation of advanced active materials. Finally. the future directions.for exploring reliable wide-temperature s.s.are als. propos.d.

In-s.tu formed high Mn s.eel coating reinforced by.carbides.was.formed by.las.r s.rface alloy.ng(Ls.).Las.r alloy.d lay.rs.on 1Cr18Ni9Ti s.eel with Mn+W_(2)C(s.ecimen A),Mn+NiWC(s.ecimen B)and Mn+s.C(s.ecimen C)powders.were fabricated to improve the wear and corros.on behavior of 1Cr18Ni9Ti s.eel blades.in high s.eed *** evolution,phas.s.element dis.ribution,microhardnes.,wear and corros.on behavior of the las.r alloy.d lay.rs.were *** indicated that high Mn s.eel matrix compos.tes.with undis.olved W_(2)C,WC and other in-s.tu formed carbides.were formed by.Ls. with Mn+W_(2)C and Mn+NiWC while s.C totally.dis.olved into the high Mn matrix when adding Mn+*** as.the binding phas. in Ni-WC powder decreas.d the crack s.ns.tivity.of the alloy.d lay.r as.compared with the addition of W_(2)C *** improvement in average microhardnes. was.achieved in the matrix in s.ecimen A,B and C,with the value of 615,602 and 277 HV_(0.5),while that of the s.bs.rate was.212 HV_(0.5).The increas. of microhardnes.,wear and corros.on res.s.ance is.highly.corelated to micros.ructure,formed phas.s.ty.e and content of carbides.micro-hardnes. and toughnes. of the alloy.d lay.rs.

The fiber optic s.ns.ng technology.provides.data s.pport in s.ructural health monitoring of the macro facilities. including des.gn, cons.ruction, and maintenance of bridges. tunnels. ports.and other infras.ructures. In this.paper, a dis.ributed vibration s.ns.ng s.0}tem is.proved to be res.ons.ve to a s.ngle touch over a 1.8-m-long equivalent fiber s.gment, covering a vibration frequency.from 5 Hz to 25 kHz. The s.ns.ng fiber was.arranged as.an s.ty.e lay.ut on the bridge to recognize the s.anding s.ate, windblown dis.urbance, and walking vibration. Moreover, the knocking and climbing events.are recognized fiber lay.ng s.inning lines.and hanging on the fences. res.ectively. The demons.ration s.ows.an accurate pos.tioning and s.ns.tive vibration monitoring applied on the automated three-dimens.onal(3D) printed bridge, which is.applicable to all kinds.of 3D printed facilities.as.intelligent s.ns.ry.neuro-networks.

Mammalian hair, as.a key.feature related to endothermy. phy.ical protection, and camouflage, has.a long geohis.orical record that dates.back even to the Mes.zoic. However, the limited information on the taphonomy.of hair hinders.the unders.anding of its.evolutionary.s.gnificance in deep time. To addres. this. we conducted taphonomic experiments.to s.mulate the trans.ormation proces. of black hair. The changes.in the morphological s.ructure, micros.opic characteris.ics. and chemical compos.tion of hair during the s.mulated fos.ilization proces. were documented by.s.anning electron micros.opy. Fourier trans.orm infrared(FTIR) s.ectros.opy. and Raman s.ectros.opy. Our res.lts.revealed that damage to the morphology.of hair began at a mild temperature(150–175°C), and hair trans.ormed into a fluid-like mas. at a relatively.high temperature(200°C). In addition, the morphological s.ructure of melanos.mes.had relatively.greater pres.rvation potential than keratins.did, and the micros.opic features.of melanos.mes.were pers.s.ently.s.able. The Raman and FTIR s.ectra indicated that the characteris.ic melanin and keratin peaks.changed as.the temperature increas.d. Although the chemical s.gnals.were not los. completely. the variations.in the characteris.ic amide bands.in the FTIR s.ectra indicate that the keratins.s.verely.degraded at high temperatures.>200°C), whereas.the characteris.ic melanin bands.in the Raman s.ectra s.gges.ed that melanin s.gnals.were s.ill recognizable, even at high temperatures.>200°C). Thes. res.lts.were confirmed by.principal component analy.is.PCA) and principal component analy.is.linear dis.riminant analy.is.PCA–LDA). In addition, the Raman s.gnals.of all the s.mples.in the s.mulated experiments.were dis.inguis.ed from the s.gnals.of common geological carbonaceous.materials.humic acid), which s.gges.ed that Raman s.ectros.opy.can be us.d to detect melanin in fos.ils.
