In.recen. y.ars,the addition.of n. has been.widely.ackn.wledged to be capable of en.an.in. the mechan.cal properties of Al-Si ***,the effect of n. on.the wear behaviors of Al-Si alloy. an. Al matrix composites,particularly.at elevated temperat-ures,remain. an.un.erstudied *** this study.Al-Si-Cu-Mg-n./20wt%SiC particles(SiCp)composites with vary.n. n. con.en.s were prepared by.usin. a semisolid stir castin. *** effect of n. con.en. on.the dry.slidin. wear behavior of the prepared compos-ites was in.estigated through slidin. tests at 25 an. 350℃.Results in.icated that theθ-Al_(2)Cu phase gradually.dimin.shed an. even.ually.disappeared as the n. con.en. in.reased from 0wt%to 3wt%.This chan.e was accompan.ed by.the formation.an. in.rease in.-Al_(3)Cun. an.ε-Al_(3)n. phases in.*** hardn.ss an. ultimate ten.ile stren.th of the as-cast composites improved,an. the wear rates of the composites decreased from 5.29×10^(−4)to 1.94×10^(−4)mm^(3)/(n.m)at 25℃an. from 20.2×10^(−4)to 7×10^(−4)mm^(3)/(n.m)at 350℃with the in.rease in.n. con.en. from 0wt%to 2wt%.The en.an.emen. in.performan.e was due to the presen.e of stren.then.n. n.twork structures an. addition.l n.-con.ain.n. phases in.the ***,the wear rate of the 3n. composite was approximately.two times higher than.that of the 2n. composite due to the fracture an. debon.in. of theε-Al_(3)n. *** wear,delamin.tion.wear,an. oxidation.wear were the predomin.n. wear mechan.sms of the in.estigated composites at 25℃,whereas delamin.tion.wear an. oxid-ation.wear were domin.n. durin. slidin. at 350℃.

However, few soft robotic wrists simultan.ously.demon.trate dexterous 3-DOF motion.an. variable stiffn.ss;in.addition. they.do n.t fully.con.ider a soft-rigid hy.rid structure of in.egrated muscles an. two carpal *** this study. we developed a soft-rigid hy.rid structure to design.a biomimetic soft robotic wrist(BSRW) that is capable of rotatin. in.the x an. y.direction., twistin. aroun. the z-axis, an. possessin. stiffn.ss-tun.ble capacity. To actuate the BSRW, a lightweight soft-rin.-rein.orced bellows-ty.e pn.umatic actuator(SRBPA) with large axial, lin.ar deformation.η_(lcmax)=70.6%,η_(lemax)=54.3%) an. small radial expan.ion.η_(demax)=3.7%) is design.d to mimic the motion.of skeletal muscles. To represen. the fun.tion.of two-carpal rows, a compact particle-jammin. join.(PJJ) that combin.s particles with a membran.-covered ballsocket mechan.sm is developed to achieve various 3-DOF motion. an. high axial load-carry.n. capacity.>60 n.. By.vary.n. the jammin. pressure, the stiffn.ss of the PJJ can.be adjusted. Fin.lly. a cen.rally.position.d PJJ an. six in.epen.en.ly.actuated SRBPAs, which are in.an.in.lin.d an. an.agon.stic arran.emen., are san.wiched between.two rigid plates to form a flexible,stable, an. compact BSRW.
