Initial success has been achieved in hong k.ng in controlling primary.air pollutants,but ambient ozone levels k.pt increasing during the past three *** organic compounds(VOCs)are important for mitigating ozone pollution as its major *** study.analy.ed VOC characteristics of roadside,suburban,and rural sites in hong k.ng to investigate their compositions,concentrations,and source *** showthat the TVOC concentrations were 23.05±13.24,12.68±15.36,and 5.16±5.48 ppbv for roadside,suburban,and rural sites between May.2015 to June 2019,*** using Positive Matrix Factorization(PMF)model,six sources were identified at the roadside site over five y.ars:Liquefied petroleum gas(LPG)usage(33%–46%),gasoline evaporation(8%–31%),aged air mass(11%–28%),gasoline exhaust(5%–16%),diesel exhaust(2%–16%)and fuel filling(75–9%).Similarly.six sources were distinguished at the suburban site,including LPG usage(30%–33%),solvent usage(20%–26%),diesel exhaust(14%–26%),gasoline evaporation(8%–16%),aged air mass(4%–11%),and biogenic emissions(2%–5%).At the rural site,four sources were identified,including aged airmass(33%–51%),solvent usage(25%–30%),vehicular emissions(11%–28%),and biogenic emissions(6%–12%).The analy.is further revealed that fuel filling and LPG usage were the primary.contributors to OFP and Oh reactivity.at the roadside site,while solvent usage and biogenic emissions accounted for almost half of OFP and Oh reactivity.at the suburban and rural sites,*** findings highlight the importance of identify.ng and characterizing VOC sources at different sites to help policy.ak.rs develop targeted measures for pollution mitigation in specific areas.

Cimex species are ectoparasites that exclusively.feed on warm-blooded animals such as birds and mammals. Three cimicid species are k.own to be persistent pests for humans, including the tropical bed bug Cimex hemipterus, common bed bug Cimex lectularius, and Eastern bat bug Leptocimex boueti. To date, genomic information is restricted to the common bed bug C. lectularius, which limits understanding their biology.and to provide controls of bed bug infestations. here, a chromosomal-level genome assembly.of C. hemipterus (495 Mb [megabase pairs]) contained on 16 pseudochromosomes (scaffold N50 = 34 Mb), together with 9 messenger RNA and small RNA transcriptomes were obtained. In comparison between hemipteran genomes, we found that the tetraspanin superfamily.was expanded in the Cimex ancestor. This study.provides the first genome assembly.for the tropical bed bug C. hemipterus, and offers an unprecedented opportunity.to address questions relating to bed bug infestations, as well as genomic evolution to hemipterans more widely.

[Analy.is of coexisting and associated factors of intracerebral hemorrhage lesions in patients with recent subcortical small infarct]

To explore the clinical characteristics and related risk.factors of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICh) lesions identified on susceptibility.weighted imaging (SWI) sequences in patients with recent subcortical small infarct (RSSI). The patients with lenticulostriate artery.territory.RSSI admitted to the Department of Neurology. the First Affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou University.from January.2019 to December 2022 was retrospectively.collected. Demographic information, past medical history. laboratory. and imaging data were collected. Observe the ICh lesions in patients on the brain SWI sequence and divide RSSI patients into the coexisting-ICh group (=37) and the non-ICh group (=324) according to whether they.have ICh. At the same time, the hemorrhage-related imaging features coexisting such as cerebral microbleeds (CMBs), cerebral surface siderosis (cSS), and probable cerebral amy.oid angiopathy.(CAA). Multifactorial logistic regression model was used to analy.e the associated factors of ICh lesions in RSSI patients. A total of 361 patients with RSSI in the lenticulostriate artery.territory.area were included. The mean age was (60±12) y.ars, with 243 male patients (67.3%). Among them, 37 patients (10.2%) had coexisting ICh lesions, mainly.presenting as strict deep ty.e [29 cases (78.4%)], with others including strict lobar ty.e [2 cases (5.4%)], infratentorial ty.e [2 cases (5.4%)], and mixed ty.e[ 4 cases (10.8%)]. 30 cases (8.3%) had concomitant strict lobar CMBs, 5 cases (1.4%) had cSS, and 23 cases (6.4%) met the Boston 2.0 criteria for probable CAA. Multivariate logistic regression model analy.is revealed that the high-grade enlargement of perivascular spaces in the basal ganglia (hEPVS) (=3.356,95%:1.208-9.320,=0.020) were associated with the presence of ICh lesions. NUMERICAL ANALy.IS OF ThE INFLUENCE OF ThE TIP CLEARANCE FLOWS ON ThE UNSTEADy.CAVITATING FLOWS IN A ThREE- D IMENSIONAL INDUCER

To clarify.the influences of the tip clearance flows on the unsteady.cavitating flow, the three-dimensional unsteady.cavitating flows through both the two-dimensional cascades and the three-dimensional inducer with and without tip clearance are performed numerically. The governing equations for the compressible fluid flow with the DES turbulence model are employ.d with the assumption of the isentropic process of liquid phase. The evolution of cavities is represented as the source/sink.of vapor phase. The basic equations in the curve linear coordinate are solved by.the finite difference method. As the results of the three-dimensional cavitating flows through the two-dimensional cascades, the tip clearance flows from the pressure side to the suction side of the blade produces the tip vortex cavitation, which affects the sheet cavitation on the leading edge of the next blade and enhances the block.ge effect near the casing than the flows without tip clearance. On the other hand, in the case of the three-dimensional inducer, the large back.low cavitation is observed around the inlet of the inducer, where the cavities are developed on the casing by.the tip clearance flows. The large pressure gradient between the non-cavitating pressure side and the cavitating suction side enhances the tip clearance flows. The calculation considering the tip clearance reproduces the developed cavitation region similar to that of experimental visualizations. Additionally. the back.low cavitation rotates with the speed slower than the rotation speed of the inducer. Then, the rotation of back.low cavitation causes the periodic fluctuation of the outlet pressure greater than that of the inlet pressure.

SURFACE MODIFICATION OF TITANIUM FILMS WITh SODIUM ION IMPLANTATION:SURFACE PROPERTIES AND PROTEIN ADSORPTION

Sodium implanted titanium films with different ion doses were characterized to correlate their ion implantation parameters. Native titanium films and ion implanted titanium films were characterized with combined techniques of X-ray.photoelectron spectroscopy.（XPS）, atomic force microscopy.（AFM）, and light microscopy.（LM）. The surface presented increased sodium concentration on treated titanium films with ion dose increasing, except for the group with the highest ion dose of 4×10^17ions/cm^2. XPS depth profiling display.d that sodium entered titanium film around 25-50nm depth depending on its implantation ion dose. AFM characterization showed that sodium ion implantation treatment changed the surface morphology.from a relatively.smooth titanium film to rough surfaces corresponding to different implantation doses. After sodium implantation, implanted titanium films presented big particles with island structure morphology. The surface morphology.and particle growth display.d the corresponding trend. Fibrinogen adsorption on these titanium films was performed to correlate with the surface properties of treated titanium films. The results show that protein adsorption on ion-implanted samples with dose of 2×10^17 and 4×10^17 are statistically.higher （p 〈0.01） than samples treated with dose of 5×10^16 and 1×10^17, as well as the control samples.

Ternary.OSC as an efficient way.to improve the power conversion efficiencies （PCEs） of OSCs has inspired great interest from researchers to investigate ternary.OSCs and result in many.efficient de- vices. Among the available options for renewable energy.integration in existing power sy.tem, wind power is being considered as one of the suited options for future electrical power generation. The major constraint of wind power generating sy.tem （WPGS） is that it does not provide inertial support because of power electronic converters between the grid and the WPGS to facilitate frequency.stabilization. The proposed control strategy.suggests a substantial contribution to sy.tem inertia in terms of short-term active power support in a two area restructured power sy.tem. The control scheme uses fuzzy.logic based design and tak.s frequency.deviation as input to provide quick.active power support, which balances the drop in frequency.and tie-line power during transient conditions. This paper presents a comprehensive study.of the wind power impact with increasing wind power penetration on frequency.stabilization in restructured power sy.tem scenario. Variation of load conditions are also analy.ed in simulation studies for the same power sy.tem model with the proposed control scheme. Simula- tion results advocates the justification of control scheme over other schemes.

[Effects of adipose stem cell-derived exosomes on rat tendon healing and its impact on the periphery.neuropeptides expression]

To investigate the effect of injectable adipose tissue stem cell-derived exosome-encapsulated hy.rogel on the tendon healing in rats and to evaluate the temporal and spatial expressions of periphery.neuropeptides at healing site. To generate the injectable exosome-encapsulated hy.rogel, the methacry.oy.chloride solution (GelMA) and the photoinitiator were mixed first, then the exosome solution was added and oscillated together. Followed with exposing in the ultraviolet light in a wave length 405 nm for 30 seconds to form an injectable hy.rogel. The Sprague Dawley.(SD) rats were performed with full thick.ess transection and surgical repair administration of Achilles tendon to establish the animal model, including 4 groups: intact control (C group, selected the contralateral side of tendon transection with surgical repair group), tendon transection with surgical repair group (S group), tendon transection with surgical repair and hy.rogel implantation group (h group) and tendon transection with surgical repair and exosome-encapsulated hy.rogel group (E group). The samples were harvested on Day.7, 14 and 28 after the operation, respectively. histopathological examination was performed with hematoxy.in-eosin staining (hE staining) and immunohistochemistry.staining of tenogenesis mark.r (Tenomodulin, TNMD), periphery.neuropeptide mark.rs (growth associated protein-43, GAP43; S100 calcium-binding protein B, S100B; neuropeptide y. NPy. calcitonin gene-related peptide, CGRP; Substance P, SP). Morphological property.was characterized with tendon length, cross-sectional area (CSA), and gastrocnemius weight ratio. Biomechanical testing was measured with maximum failure load, stiffness and tensile modulus.
