In this review,we discuss the electrochemical properties of Prussian blue(PB)for Na^(+)storag. by.combining.structural eng.neering.and electroly.e *** integ.ated experimental data and density.functional theory.DFT)in sodium-ion battery.SIB)research to refine the atomic arrang.ments and cry.tal lattices and introduce substitutions and *** chang.s affect the lattice stability.intercalation,electronic and ionic conductivities,and electrochemical *** unraveled the intricate structure-electrochemical behavior relationship by.combining.experimental data with computational models,including.first-principles *** holistic approach identified techniques for optimizing.PB and Prussian blue analog.PBA)structu ral properties for *** also discuss the tuning.of electroly.es by.sy.tematically.adjusting.their composition,concentration,and additives using.a combination of molecular dy.amics(MD)simulations and DFT *** review offers a comprehensive assessment of strateg.es for enhancing.the electrochemical properties of PB and PBAs throug. structural eng.neering.and electroly.e modifications,combining.experimental insig.ts with advanced computational simulations,and paving.the way.for next-g.neration energ.0}storag. sy.tems.

The poor stability.of RuO_(2)electrocataly.ts has been the primary.obstacles for their practical application in poly.er electroly.e membrane *** dramatically.enhance the durability.of RuO_(2)to construct activity.stability.trade-off model is full of sig.ificance but ***,a sing.e atom Zn stabilized RuO_(2)with enriched oxy.en vacancies(SA Zn-RuO_(2))is developed as a promising.alternative to iridium oxide for acidic oxy.en evolution reaction(OER).Compared with commercial RuO_(2),the enhanced Ru–O bond streng.h of SA Zn-RuO_(2)by.forming.Zn-O-Ru local structure motif is favorable to stabilize surface Ru,while the electrons transferred from Zn sing.e atoms to adjacent Ru atoms protects the Ru active sites from ***,the optimized surrounding.electronic structure of Ru sites in SA ZnRuO_(2)decreases the adsorption energ.es of OER intermediates to reduce the reaction *** a result,the representative SA Zn-RuO_(2)exhibits a low overpotential of 210 mV to achieve 10 mA cm^(-2)and a g.eatly.enhanced durability.than commercial RuO_(2).This work provides a promising.dual-eng.neering.strateg.0}by.coupling.sing.e atom doping.and vacancy.for the tradeoff of hig. activity.and cataly.ic stability.toward acidic OER.

Adaptive multicolor filters have emerg.d as key.components for ensuring.color accuracy.and resolution in outdoor visual ***,the current state of this technolog.0}is still in its infancy.and larg.ly.reliant on liquid cry.tal devices that require hig. voltag. and bulky.structural ***,we present a multicolor nanofilter consisting.of multilay.red‘active’plasmonic nanocomposites,wherein metallic nanoparticles are embedded within a conductive poly.er *** nanocomposites are fabricated with a total thickness below 100 nm using.a‘lithog.aphy.free’method at the wafer level,and they.inherently.exhibit three prominent optical modes,accompany.ng.scattering.phenomena that produce distinct dichroic reflection and transmission ***,a pivotal achievement is that all these colors are electrically.manipulated with an applied external voltag. of less than 1 V with 3.5 s of switching.speed,encompassing.the entire visible ***,this electrically.prog.ammable multicolor function enables the effective and dy.amic modulation of the color temperature of white lig.t across the warm-to-cool spectrum(3250 K-6250 K).This transformative capability.is exceptionally.valuable for enhancing.the performance of outdoor optical devices that are independent of factors such as the sun’s elevation and prevailing.weather conditions.

Biofoam products have attracted considerable attention lately.because there is a g.owing.demand for g.een/sustainable *** this end,various biobased foams have either been developed or are currently.in development,e.g.,bio-based poly.rethanes(PUs),poly.actic acid(PLA),starch,and poly.y.roxy.lkanotates(PHAs).Indeed,sig.ificant prog.ess has been made;however,chal-leng.s still persist,for example,biobased foam products have poor processability.inferior com-patibility.thermal and streng.h *** this review,we focus on five biofoam products:namely.bio-based PUs,PLA,starch,PHAs,and cellulose biofoam products,along.with their prop-erties and performance,as well as their manufacturing.*** efforts are still needed to unlock the full potential of these bio-based products and meet the g.al of complementing.and g.adually.replacing.some of their fossil-based ***,the challeng.s,as well as arising.opportunities of future research directions are discussed.

Allium is a complicated g.nus that includes approximately.1000 *** its morpholog.0}is well studied,the taxonomic importance of many.morpholog.cal traits,including.floral traits,are poorly.***,we examined and measured the floral characteristics of 87 accessions of 74 Allium taxa(belong.ng.to 30 sections and nine subg.nera)from Central to Eastern Asian *** then examined the taxonomic relationships between select flower characteristics and a phy.og.netic tree based on ITS *** results confirm that floral morpholog.0}provides key.taxonomic information to assess species delimitation in *** found that perianth color is an important characteristic within the ***,Poly.rason,and *** ***,Cepa,and Rhizirideum,sig.ificant characteristics include ovary.shape,perianth shape,and inner tepal *** species in ***,the key.taxonomic character is ovule number(only.one ovule in per locule).In the ***,Cepa,Poly.rason,and Reticulatobulbosa,which belong.to the third evolutionary.line of Allium,hood-like appendag.s occur in the ovary.althoug. these do not occur in *** results also indicated that the flower morpholog.0}of several species in some sections are not clearly.disting.ished,e.g.,***(***)and ***(***).This study.provides detailed photog.aphs and descriptions of floral characteristics and information on g.neral distributions,habitats,and phenolog.0}of the studied taxa.

Terahertz(THz)waves,known as non-ionizing.radiation owing.to their low photon energ.es,can actually.ionize atoms and molecules when a sufficiently.larg. number of THz photons are concentrated in time and ***,we demonstrate the g.neration of ionizing.multicy.le,15-THz waves emitted from larg.-area lithium niobate cry.tals via phase-matched optical rectification of 150-terawatt laser pulses.A complete characterization of the g.nerated THz waves in energ.0}pulse duration,and focal spot size shows that the field streng.h can reach up to 260 meg.volts per *** particular,a sing.e-shot THz interferometer is employ.d to measure the THz pulse duration and spectrum with complementary.numerical *** intense THz pulses are irradiated onto various solid targ.ts to demonstrate THz-induced tunneling.ionization and plasma *** study.also discusses the potential of nonperturbative THz-driven ionization in g.ses,which will open up new opportunities,including.nonlinear and relativistic THz phy.ics in plasma.
