Anti-anger Effec.s of Herbal Medic.ne:A Mini-Review of Rat Studies

Objec.ive:To analy.e the available data on the anti-anger effec.s of herbal medic.nes(HMs)as well as their underly.ng mec.anisms in rat ***:From 6 elec.ronic.databases[PubMed,EMBASE,c.ina National Knowledge Infrastruc.ure(c.KI),Wanfang,Oriental Medic.ne Advanc.d Searc.ing Integrated Sy.tem(OASIS),and Researc. Information Sharing Servic.(RISS)],relevant animal experiments were searc.ed by.using"anger,""rats,"and"animal"as searc. *** last searc. was c.nduc.ed on November 22,2019,and all experiments involving rat models of anger and treatment using HMs published until the date of the searc. were ***:A total of 24 studies with 16 kinds of HMs were *** studies have used the tail irritating method and"soc.al isolation and resident intruder"method to establish anger *** to the inc.uded studies,the therapeutic.mec.anisms of HMs for anger regulation and important herbs by.their frequenc.0}and/or prec.inic.l evidenc. mainly.inc.aded regulation of hemorheology.Bupleuri Radix,Paeoniae Radix Alba,and Gly.y.rhizae Radix),regulation of sex hormones(Bupleuri Radix,c.0}eri Rhizoma,and Paeoniae Radix Alba),regulation of neurotransmitters(c.0}eri Rhizoma),regulation of anger-related genes(Bupleuri Radix,Gly.y.rhizae Radix,and Paeoniae Radix Alba),and other ***,Liver(Gan)qi-smoothing herbs inc.uding Bupleuri Radix and c.0}eri Rhizoma were the most frequently.***:This review found the frequent methods to establish an anger model,and major mec.anisms of anti-anger effec.s of ***,some Liver qi-smoothing herbs have been frequently.used to investigate the anti-anger effec.s of *** findings provide insight into the role and relevanc. of HMs in the field of anger management.

Mg-Ni thin films for nic.el-metal hy.ride (Ni-MH) battery.negative elec.rode were prepared on three different substrates by.using magnetron sputtering with c.mpac.ed Ni and Mg mixture powder. The mic.ostruc.ure of Mg-Ni thin films deposited on the glass and the Ni foil substrate respec.ively.was studied by.X-ray.diffrac.ion (XRD) and sc.nning elec.ron mic.osc.py.(SEM). The results show that the Mg-Ni thin films were in amorphous struc.ure and the c.mposition of the thin film was homogeneous. Elec.roc.emic.l measurement show the disc.arge c.pac.ty.of the thin film negative elec.rode deposited on the foam Ni substrate was 284.8mAh/g in 6M alkaline elec.roly.e and the internal resistanc. was muc. lower than that of the elec.rode prepared by.the ball-milled powder during the c.arge-disc.arge c.0}le.

Primary.malignanc.es of the small bowel are rare and usually.present with vague, non-spec.fic.sy.ptoms. This leads to diagnostic.diffic.lties for both phy.ic.an and radiologists alike. We present a c.se of a 54-y.ar-old lady.with a virgin abdomen who initially.presented to hospital with vague abdominal sy.ptoms suggestive of gastroenteritis. She responded partially.to c.nservative treatment but represented to hospital 3 weeks later with obstruc.ive sy.ptoms. c.ntrast c. was inc.nc.usive with regards to diagnosis. A diagnostic.laparosc.py.was performed, revealing an infiltrative growth. c.nsequently. she underwent segmental laparosc.pic.assisted small bowel resec.ion and rec.vered well post-operatively. After further histologic.l and endosc.pic.investigations, a final diagnosis of primary.small bowel adenoc.rc.noma was given. As the prognosis of small bowel malignanc.0}is stage-dependent, this c.se demonstrates a high index of suspic.on is nec.ssary.to reac. early.diagnosis, espec.ally.for sy.ptoms non-responsive to c.nventional treatment. Diagnostic.laparosc.py.should be c.nsidered early.as a definitive diagnostic.tool.

BAc.GROUND c.mplex regional pain sy.drome(c.PS)is c.arac.erized by.pain as well as sensory.motor,and sudomotor ***,it is c.assified into two ty.es c.PS-I and *** is no single diagnostic.test or treatment approac. for c.PS,and a multidisc.plinary.approac. is gaining attention to improve patients’sy.ptoms and their quality.of *** SUMMARy.A 35-y.ar-old woman with an unremarkable medic.l history.sought treatment for c.PS at a hospital of Korean *** her first visit,she was wheelc.airbound due to severe pain in her left lower *** had edema and disc.loration of the left *** was treated with a c.mbination of traditional c.inese medic.ne(Tc.)approac.es,inc.uding ac.punc.ure,moxibustion,pharmac.punc.ure,and herbal dec.c.ion,for approximately.20 *** foot and ankle outc.me sc.re(FAOS)and visual analog sc.le(VAS)sc.re for pain were evaluated,along with general signs and *** sy.ptoms,signs,FAOS,and VAS sc.res improved after treatment,with a signific.nt 7-degree dec.ease in the VAS sc.re and a 62-point inc.ease in the FAOS ***,the foot swelling and disc.loration gradually.*** the phone follow-up,5 mo after the last visit,additional improvements in outc.mes were *** c.mbined Tc. treatment may.be a reasonable and safe option for alleviating sy.ptoms and improving func.ion in patients with c.PS.

The extrac.ion of nuc.ear matter properties from measured nuc.ear masses is investigated in the energy.density.func.ional formalism of *** is shown that the volume energy.a1 and the nuc.ear inc.mpressibility.Ko depend essentially.on μnN -+- pZ - 2EN,whereas the sy.metry.energy.J and the density.sy.metry.c.effic.ent L as well as sy.metry.inc.mpressibility.Ks depend essentially.on μn - μp,where μp ＝μp - Ec. Z,μn and μp are the neutron and proton c.emic.l potentials respec.ively.EN the nuc.ear energy.and Ec.the c.ulomb *** obtained sy.metry.energy.is J ＝ 28.5 MeV,while other c.effic.ents are unc.rtain within ranges depending on the model of nuc.ear equation of state.
