An analy.is has been achieved to study.the natural convection of a non-Newtonian fluid （namely.a Carreau fluid） in a vertical channel with rhy.hmically.contracting walls. The Navier-Stokes and the energy.equations are reduced to a sy.tem of non- linear PDE by.using the long wavelength approximation. The optimal homotopy.analy.is method （OHAM） is introduced to obtain the exact solutions for velocity.and temperature fields. The convergence of the obtained OHAM solution is discussed explicitly. Numerical calculations are carried out for the pressure rise and the features of the flow and temperature characteristics are analy.ed by.plotting graphs and discussed in detail.

This article describes a new model for obtaining closed-form semi-analy.ical solutions of peristaltic flow induced by.sinusoidal wave trains propagating with constant speed on the walls of a two-dimensional rotating infinite channel. The channel rotates with a constant angular speed about the z-axis and is filled with couple stress fluid. The governing equations of the channel deformation and the flow rate inside the channel are derived using the lubrication theory.approach. The resulting equations are solved, using the homotopy.perturbation method（HPM）, for exact solutions to the longitudinal velocity.distribution, pressure gradient, flow rate due to secondary.velocity. and pressure rise per wavelength. The effect of various values of phy.ical parameters, such as, Tay.or＇s number and couple stress parameter, together with some interesting features of peristaltic flow are discussed through graphs. The trapping phenomenon is investigated for different values of parameters under consideration. It is shown that Tay.or＇s number and the couple stress parameter have an increasing effect on the longitudinal velocity.distribution till half of the channel, on the flow rate due to secondary.velocity. and on the number of closed streamlines circulating the bolus.

The purpose of this investigation is to theoretically.shed some light on the effect of the unsteady.electroosmotic flow(EOF)of an incompressible fractional secondgrade fluid with low-dense mixtures of two spherical nanoparticles,copper,and *** flow of the hy.rid nanofluid takes place through a vertical micro-channel.A fractional Cattaneo model with heat conduction is *** the DC-operated micropump,the Lorentz force is responsible for the pressure difference through the *** Deby.-H¨ukel approximation is utilized to linearize the charge *** semianaly.ical solutions for the velocity.and heat equations are obtained with the Laplace and finite Fourier sine transforms and their numerical *** addition to the analy.ical procedures,a numerical algorithm based on the finite difference method is introduced for the given domain.A comparison between the two solutions is *** variations of the velocity.heat transfer against the enhancements in the pertinent parameters are thoroughly.investigated *** is noticed that the fractional-order parameter provides a crucial memory.effect on the fluid and temperature *** present work has theoretical implications for biofluid-based microfluidic transport sy.tems.

Three novel amprolium HCl（AMP）-selective electrodes were investigated with 2-nitropheny. octy.ether as a plasticiser in a poly.eric matrix of poly.iny. chloride（PVC）. Sensor I was fabricated using potassium tetrakis（4-chloropheny.） borate（Tp ClPB） as a cationic exchanger without incorporation of an *** Ⅱ used 2-hy.roxy.propy. β-cy.lodextrin as an ionophore while sensor Ⅲ used p-tert-buty.calix[8]arene as an ionophore. The three proposed sensors showed Nernestian response slopes of 29.2±0.8,29.3±0.6 and 30.2±0.4 m V/decade over the concentration range from 10–6 to 10–2 mol L_（-1）,respectively. The proposed sensors display.d useful analy.ical characteristics for the determination of AMP in bulk powder, different pharmaceutical formulations, and chicken liver and in the presence of ethopabate. The proposed method was validated according to ICH guidelines for its linearity. accuracy.precision and robustness.

In our consideration,a comparison between four different ty.es of controllers for suppression the vibrations of the cantilever beam excited by.an external force is carried *** four ty.es are the linear velocity.feedback control,the cubic velocity.feedback control,the non-linear saturation controller(NSC)and the positive position feedback(PPF)*** suitable ty.e is the PPF controller for suppression the vibrations of the cantilever *** approximate solution obtained up to the first approximation by.using the multiple scale *** PPF controller effectiveness is studied on the *** used frequency.response equations to investigate the stability.of a cantilever *** notified that,there is a good agreement between the analy.ical solution and the numerical solution.

Highly.active mesoporous TiO_2 of about 6 nm cry.tal size and 280.7 m^2/g specific surface areas has been successfully.sy.thesized via controlled hy.roly.is of titanium butoxide at acidic medium. It was characterized by.means of XRD（X-ray.diffraction）, SEM（scanning electron microscopy., TEM（transmission electron microscopy., FT-IR（Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy., TGA（thermogravimetric analy.is）, DSC（differential scanning calorimetry. and BET（Brunauer–Emmett–Teller） surface area. The degradation of dichlorophenol-indophenol（DCPIP） under ultraviolet（UV） light was studied to evaluate the photocataly.ic activity.of samples. The effects of different parameters and kinetics were investigated. Accordingly. a complete degradation of DCPIP dy. was achieved by.apply.ng the optimal operational conditions of 1 g/L of cataly.t, 10 mg/L of DCPIP, pH of 3 and the temperature at 25 ± 3°C after 3 min under UV irradiation. Meanwhile, the Langmuir–Hinshelwood kinetic model described the variations in pure photocataly.ic branch in consistent with a first order power law *** results proved that the prepared TiO_2 nanoparticle has a photocataly.ic activity.significantly.better than Degussa P-25.
