this paper highlights the crucial role of Indonesia’s GNSS receiver network in advancing Equatorial Plasma Bubble(EPB)studies in Southeast and East Asia,as ionospheric irregularities within EPB can disrupt GNSS signals and degrade positioning *** by the Indonesian Geospatial Information Agency(BIG),the Indonesia Continuously Operating Reference Station(Ina-CORS)network comprises over 300 GNSS receivers spanning equatorial to southern low-latitude ***-CORS is uniquely situated to monitor EPB generation,zonal drift,and dissipation across Southeast *** provide a practical tool for EPB research,by sharing two-dimensional rate of total Electron Content(tEC)change index(ROtI)derived from this *** generate ROtI maps with a 10-minute resolution,and samples from May 2024 are publicly available for further scientific *** preliminary findings from the ROtI maps of Ina-CORS are ***,the Ina-CORS ROtI maps reveal that the irregularities within a broader EPB structure persist longer,increasing the potential for these irregularities to migrate farther ***,we demonstrate that combined ROtI maps from Ina-CORS and GNSS receivers in East Asia and Australia can be used to monitor the development of ionospheric irregularities in Southeast and East *** have demonstrated the combined ROtI maps to capture the development of ionospheric irregularities in the Southeast/East Asian sector during the G5 Geomagnetic Storm on May 11,*** observed simultaneous ionospheric irregularities in Japan and Australia,respectively propagating northwestward and southwestward,before midnight,whereas Southeast Asia’s equatorial and low-latitude regions exhibited irregularities *** sharing ROtI maps from Indonesia and integrating them with regional GNSS networks,researchers can conduct comprehensive EPB studies,enhancing the understanding of EPB behavior across Southeast and East Asia and contributing significantly to ionosphe

A single Dielectric Barrier Discharge(DBD) plasma actuator driven by Alternating Current(AC) power, capable of inducing a starting vortex and a wall jet in quiescent air, is suited for low-Reynolds-number flow control. However, the starting vortex and the wall jet are usually observed after the plasma actuator has been operated for dozens of and hundreds of cycles of the voltage, respectively. the detail of the induced flow field at the initiation stage of the plasma actuator has rarely been addressed. At the initiation stage, a thin jet that provides the impetus for the entrainment of the induced flow at the beginning of the plasma actuation is first observed by using a high-accuracy phase-lock Schlieren technique and a high-speed Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV) system. this is the initial form of the momentum transfer from the plasma to the ***, an arched type jet is created by the plasma actuator. In addition, the whole development process of the induced flow field from the starting point of the thin jet to the quasi-steady stage of wall jet is presented for providing a comprehensive understanding of the plasma actuator and proposing a relevant enhancement of the numerical simulation model.

Medipolymorphol, a new sterol isolated from the whole plant of Medicago polymorpha Roxb was used as corrosion inhibitor for 316 stainless steel in 5% HCI at room temperature. Electrochemical techniques have been found to be reliable in evaluating corrosion characteristics of the system. Several techniques have been used including tafel, linear polarization, potentiodynamic polarization, and open circuit potential (OCP) studies. the additives simultaneously deaccelerated the anodic process, intensified the cathodic process and provided a stable passive state, giving good inhibition efficiencies to stainless steel electrodes. In addition, adsorption isotherm have been fitted for the inhibitor under investigation.

Design of a robust production facility layout with minimum handling cost （MHC） presents an appropriate approach to tackle facility layout problems in a dynamic volatile environment, in which product demands randomly change in each planning period. the objective of the design is to find the robust facility layout with minimum total material handling cost over the entire multiperiod planning horizon. this paper proposes a new mathematical model for designing robust machine layout in the stochastic dynamic environment of manufacturing systems using quadratic assignment problem （QAP） formulation. In this investigation, product demands are assumed to be normally distributed random variables with known expected value, variance, and covariance that randomly change from period to period. the proposed model was verified and validated using randomly generated numerical data and benchmark examples. the effect of dependent product demands and varying interest rate on the total cost function of the proposed model has also been investigated. Sensitivity analysis on the proposed model has been performed. Dynamic programming and simulated annealing optimization algorithms were used in solving the modeled example problems.

A theory-based model for predicting the pedestal formation in both ion and electron temperatures, and hydrogenic and impurity density is developed and implemented in the 1.5D BALDUR codes for self-consistently simulating H-mode plasma in tokamak. In the simulation, the transports around pedestal, including the electron and ion thermal, hydrogenie and impurity particle transports are calculated using an （Mixed B/gB） model, which is modified to anomalous semi-empirical mixed Bohm/gyro-Bohm include the effects of ωE×B flow shear and magnetic shear. Because of the reduction of transport, the pedestal can be formed. For a preliminary test, this core-edge model is used to simulate the temporal evolution of plasma current, temperature, and density profiles for DIII-D discharges. It is found that the simulations successfully reproduce the experimental results. A statistical analysis, including RMSE and offset, is used to quantify the agreement between the prediction and the corresponding experimental results. the simulation results show an agreement with average RMSE of 11.87%, 14.53%, 7.59% and 12.21% for electron temperature, ion temperature, electron density, and deuterium density profiles, respectively. In addition, it is found that the suppression function developed is effective only in the edge region.

today＇s manufacturing cnvironmem forces manufacturing companies to make as many product variations as possible at affordable costs within a short time. Mass customisation is one of most important technologies for companies to achieve their objectives. Efforts to mass customisation should be made on two aspects：（1） to modularize products and make them as less differences as possible; （2） to design manufacturing resources and make them provide as many processes variations as possible. this paper reports our recent work on aspect （2）, i.e. how to design a reconfignrable manufacturing system （RMS） so that it can be competent to accomplish various processes optimally; Reconfignrable robot system （RRS） is taken as an example. RMS design involves architecture design and configuration design, and configuration design is further divided in design analysis and design synthesis. Axiomatic design theory （ADt） is applied to architecture design, the features and issues of RRS configuration design are discussed, automatic modelling method is developed for design analysis, and concurrent design methodology is presented for design synthesis.

the nuclear mean-field potential built up during the ^(12)C+^(12)C and ^(16)O+^(16)O collisions at low energies relevant for the carbon-and oxygen-burning processes is constructed within the double-folding model(DFM) using the realistic ground-state densities of^(12)C and^(16)O, and CDM3yn density-dependent nucleon–nucleon(NN) interaction. the rearrangement term, indicated by the Hugenholtz–van Hove theorem for the single-particle energy in nuclear matter, is properly considered in the DFM calculation. to validate the use of the density-dependent NN interaction at low energies, an adiabatic approximation was suggested for the dinuclear overlap density. the reliability of the nucleus–nucleus potential predicted through this low-energy version of the DFM was tested in the optical model(OM) analysis of the elastic^(12)C+^(12)C and ^(16)O+^(16)O scattering data at energies below 10 MeV/*** OM results provide a consistently good description of the elastic angular distributions and 90 excitation function. the dinuclear mean-field potential predicted by the DFM is further used to determine the astrophysical S factor of the ^(12)C+^(12)C and ^(16)O+^(16)O fusions in the barrier penetration model. Without any adjustment of the potential strength, our results reproduce the non-resonant behavior of the S factor of the ^(12)C+^(12)C and ^(16)O+^(16)O fusions very well over a wide range of energies.
