Hexagonal boron nitride based slippery liquid infused porous surface with anti-corrosion, anti-contaminant and anti-icing properties for protecting magnesium alloy

In an era where the concept of green development is deeply rooted, magnesium(Mg) alloy as a light metal has a long-term development prospect in the process of energy saving, emission reduction and environmental improvement. However, anti-corrosion performance of Mg alloy is poor due to the high chemical activity and low equilibrium potential, which limits the development of Mg alloy ***, three-dimensional mesopore hollow polypyrrole spheres(MHPS) were prepared, and the MHPS was inserted into the middle of the stacked hexagon boron nitride(h-BN) lamellae, which allowed the hBN to be separated forming a further composite with abundant pore structure. Subsequently, the MHPS/hBN-OH composite was uniformly sprayed on the Mg alloy surface via simple spraying method to form the superhydrophobic surface(SHS). Finally, the slippery liquid infused porous surface(SLIPS) was successfully fabricated by applying drops of silicone lubricant on the superhydrophobic coating surface. After a series of characterization and testing, the results showed that the stacking of h-BN lamellae was significantly reduced after h-BN was successfully embedded by MHPS. In addition, the fabricated SLIPS have excellent self-cleaning, mechanical stability, anti-icing and anti-corrosion properties. Therefore, the method of embedding polymer microspheres not only offers a new strategy for h-BN exfoliation, but also the successful prepared SLIPS largely retards the corrosion of Mg alloy while providing new ideas for the development of SLIPS.

Membrane gas separation is considered an energy-saving technique to extract He from natural gas due to no phase change and room temperature ***,the membrane performance was strongly limited by the trade-off between permeance and ***,novel 4,4′-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride(6FDA)-2,2′-bis(3-amino-4-hydroxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane(APAF)-5-amino-2-(4-aminobenzene)benzimidazole(BIA)asymmetric membranes with a thickness of 300 nm were successfully prepared by the non-solvent induced phase separation *** membrane performance was modulated by regulating dope solution compositions(e.g.,tetrahydrofuran and polymer concentration).The ideal He/CH_(4) selectivity was 124 and the optimized He permeance reached 87 GPU,beyond the current upper ***/CH_(4) selectivity was 75 and He permeance was 73 GPU for the binary mixture feed containing 0.2 mol%*** membrane showed good resistance to CO_(2) and C_(2)H_(6),which are the typical impurities in natural *** 6FDA-APAF-BIA membranes have good stability(>160 h),which can provide great potential in He extraction from natural gas.

Psoriasis is a chronic autoimmune disease featured by patches on the *** is caused by malfunction of immune cells and keratinocytes with inflammation as one of its key ***(API)is a natural flavonoid with anti-inflammatory and immunoregulatory ***,we speculated that API can ameliorate psoriasis,and determined its effect on the development of psoriasis by using imiquimod(IMQ)-induced psoriasis mouse *** results showed that API attenuated IMQ-induced phenotypic changes,such as erythema,scaling and epidermal thickening,and improved splenic *** differentiation of immune cells was restored in API-treated ***,we revealed that API is a key regulator of signal transducer activator of transcription 3(STAT3).API regulated immune responses by reducing interleukin-23(IL-23)/STAT3/IL-17A ***,it suppressed IMQ-caused cell hyperproliferation by inactivating STAT3 through regulation of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 and nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)***,API reduced expression of inflammatory cytokines through inactivation of NF-κ*** together,our study demonstrates that API can ameliorate psoriasis and may be considered as a strategy for psoriasis treatment.

The effect of seismic action on stability of saline soil subgrade in cold region based on isothermal stratification method

With the change of seasons, the shear strength of saline soil subgrade filler will change with the change of external temperature, which will aggravate the adverse effects of seismic on the subgrade. To explore the influence of seismic action on the stability of saline soil subgrade under the influence of temperature on the strength of saline soil subgrade filler, this paper first carried out saline soil shear tests at different temperatures to obtain the influence of temperature on the shear strength of saline soil. Then, the temperature field of the saline soil subgrade was simulated, and then based on the subgrade isothermal stratification model and FLAC3D, the displacement and acceleration amplification effects of seismic action on the shady slope, sunny slope and subgrade of saline soil subgrade in different months were analyzed. The following conclusions were finally drawn: under the action of seismic, In the process of the change of subgrade temperature of Qarhan-Golmud Expressway between 7.7°C and 27°C, the change of saline soil cohesion is the main factor affecting the stability of subgrade slope, and the maximum and minimum values of subgrade surface settlement appear in September and June of each year,respectively. In August, the differences of settlement between the shady slope and the sunny slope shoulder of the subgrade were the largest, and the acceleration of the shady slope and the sunny slope and the inside of the subgrade changed most significantly in the vertical direction. Special attention should be paid to the seismic early warning in the above key months;In the range from both sides of the shoulder to the centerline of the roadbed,the acceleration amplification effect starts to increase significantly from about 3m from the centerline of the roadbed to the centerline, so it is necessary to pay attention to the seismic design of this range.

Halophilic organisms are found widely in environments where the salt concentration is higher than 0.2 *** proteins isolated from these organisms maintain structural integrity and function under high salt stress,whereas their non-halophilic homologs tend to aggregate and *** we report for the first time the expression and function of a DNA polymerase(DNAPol) VpV262 Pol,which belongs to DNAPol Family A from Vibrio parahaemolyticus phage *** activity assay revealed that VpV262 Pol possessed 5’-3’ polymerase activity as well as 3’-5’ proofreading exonuclease ***262 Pol requires Mg or Mn to catalyze the polymerization *** activity assay under a wide range of salt concentrations showed that VpV262 Pol maintains the highest polymerase activity with 0-0.3 M of NaCl/KCl and0-0.5 M KAc(potassium acetate)/KGlc(potassium gluconate) when treated with 0-1 M corresponding salts,in contrast to significantly decreased activity of Phi29 Pol and Taq Pol above 0.2 *** with typical features of other halophilic proteins,negatively-charged amino acids are more frequently distributed on the surface of VpV262 Pol,contributing to highly solubility and enhanced *** 3 D-Structure of VpV262 Pol needs to be confirmed by experimental data further,this study here has added a member for the relatively small family of halotolerant DNA polymerase,and provides a valuable reference in isolation and characterization of DNA polymerases from halophilic organisms.

针对目前普遍存在的目标数目较多,Pareto前沿离散程度较高的昂贵多目标优化问题,现有大部分算法无法利用较少函数评估得到优质Pareto前沿,因此提出一种基于多偏好物理规划的代理辅助多目标优化算法(M3pEGO)。该方法首先设置偏好矩阵,通过不同物理规划总偏好值将多目标优化问题转化为单目标优化问题,接着与Kriging代理模型相结合,利用高效的全局优化(EGO)算法实现自适应优化。最后通过9个经典测试函数,将此方法与ParEGO算法和多目标EGO算法进行对比。结果表明,所提算法在解决昂贵多目标优化,尤其是Pareto前沿离散程度较高的问题上优势明显,在有限次迭代后能够精确拟合到真实Pareto前沿,且能够得到收敛、均匀的非支配解集。

Background:microRNAs(miRs) have emerged as key regulators of both normal and pathologic phenotypes,including *** activities and biogenesis of miRs are heavily *** of physiologic miR activity and biogenesis has been shown to play an important role in tumor initiation and ***,few modulators of miR activity and biogenesis have been characterized,and both the extent and relevance of their role in controlling normal cell physiology and pathogenesis are poorly understood. Methods:Systematic approaches were exploited to dissect microRNA-related post- transcriptional regulatory networks that are associated with human ***,by analyzing mRNA and miR expression profiles of a large set of glioblastoma patient samples, miR activity and biogenesis regulations have been studied in a genome-wide scale. Results:First,genome-wide screening of miR activity regulators uncovered a previously-uncharacterized layer of post-transcriptional regulation,involving 7,000 RNAs that act as miR "sponges" and participate in more than 248,000 miR program-mediated (mPM) *** regulation layer also includes 148 genes that regulate individual miR activity on its targets through alternative,nonsponge *** mPM interactions as a network mediate crosstalk between canonical oncogenic pathways and connect genetically distant genes,which was experimentally validated in tumor cell *** mPM interactions also provide mechanistic rationales for regulation of key genes in cancer,and largely explain missing genetic variations in various patient *** interaction networks were also reconstructed for breast,prostate,and ovarian ***,hundreds of novel regulators of miR biogenesis were discovered through a genome-wide screening using the same dataset as above.A subset of these regulators have been experimentally validated via high-,mid-,and low-throughput profiling of primary,precursor,and mature miRs in additio
