Reasonably constructing an atomic interface is pronouncedly essential for surface-related gas-sensing ***,we present an ingen-ious feedback-regulation system by changing the interactional mode between single Pt atoms and adjacent S species for high-efficiency SO_(2)*** found that the single Pt sites on the MoS_(2)surface can induce easier volatiliza-tion of adjacent S species to activate the whole inert S ***,the activated S species can provide a feedback role in tailoring the antibonding-orbital electronic occupancy state of Pt atoms,thus creating a combined system involving S vacancy-assisted single Pt sites(Pt-Vs)to synergistically improve the adsorption ability of SO_(2)gas ***-more,in situ Raman,ex situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy testing and density functional theory analysis demonstrate the intact feedback-regulation system can expand the electron transfer path from single Pt sites to whole Pt-MoS_(2)supports in SO_(2)gas *** with wireless-sensing modules,the final Pt1-MoS_(2)-def sensors array can further realize real-time monitoring of SO_(2)levels and cloud-data storage for plant *** a fundamental understanding of the intrinsic link between atomic interface and sensing mechanism is thus expected to broaden the rational design of highly effective gas sensors.

A novel and reactive oxygen species(ROS)responsive astaxanthin phenylboronic acid derivative(AstaDPBA)was constructed by grafting phenylboronic acid(PBA)onto astaxanthin succinate diester(AstaD),and its chemical structure and physicochemical property were ***-PBA could effectively improve the ROS quenching ability in the lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced RAW264.7 cell inflammation ***,the bioactivity of AstaD-PBA was studied by 4 zebrafish ROS-responsive infl ammatory models induced by LPS,copper(Cu^(2+)),high-fat diet,and dextran sodium sulfate(DSS).The results suggest that AstaD-PBA might have high biosafety and the best effect on ulcerative colitis(UC)induced by ***,AstaDPBA significantly alleviated and treated weight loss and colonic shrinkage,inhibited infl ammatory cytokines,and maintained microbiota homeostasis to improve UC in C57BL/6J *** and Oscillibacter were expected to be considered UC marker fl ora according to the Metastats analysis and Pearson correlation Mantel test(Plusion,AstaD-PBA has been promised to be a functional compound to improve UC and maintain intestinal microbiota homeostasis.

AIM:To investigate the antioxidant protective effect of Lycium barbarum glycopeptide(LbGP)pretreatment on retinal ischemia-reperfusion(I/R)injury(RIRI)in ***:RIRI was induced in Sprague Dawley rats through anterior chamber perfusion,and pretreatment involved administering LbGP via gavage for *** 24h of reperfusion,serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),and creatinine(CREA)levels,retinal structure,expression of Caspase-3 and Caspase-8,superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity,and malondialdehyde(MDA)in the retina were ***:The pretreatment with LbGP effectively protected the retina and retinal tissue from edema and inflammation in the ganglion cell layer(GCL)and nerve fiber layer(NFL)of rats subjected to RIRI,as shown by light microscopy and optical coherence tomography(OCT).Serum AST was higher in the model group than in the blank group(P=0.042),but no difference was found in ALT,AST,and CREA across the LbGP groups and model ***-3 expression was higher in the model group than in the blank group(P=0.006),but no difference was found among LbGP groups and the model ***-8 expression was higher in the model group than in the blank group(P=0.000),and lower in the 400 mg/kg LbGP group than in the model group(P=0.016).SOD activity was lower in the model group than in the blank group(P=0.001),and the decrease was slower in the 400 mg/kg LbGP group than in the model group(P=0.003).MDA content was higher in the model group than in the blank group(P=0.001),and lower in the 400 mg/kg LbGP group than in the model group(P=0.016).The pretreatment with LbGP did not result in any observed liver or renal toxicity in the ***:LbGP pretreatment exhibits dosedependent anti-inflammatory,and antioxidative effects by reducing Caspase-8 expression,preventing declines of SOD activity,and decreasing MDA content in the RIRI rat model.

Background:A high prevalence of diabetes mellitus(DM)coexisting with autoimmune pancreatitis(AIP)is ***,evidence on the circumstances under which corticosteroid therapy(CST)for AIP improves or worsens DM is *** study aimed to demonstrate and identify predictors of DM control under the influence of ***:Patients diagnosed with type 1 AIP were enrolled from a prospectively maintained cohort and were classified into three groups according to the chronology in which AIP and DM were diagnosed:pre-existing DM(pDM),concurrent DM(cDM),and non-DM(nDM).The responses of DM to CST were assessed when corticosteroid was ceased or tapered to a maintenance dose and classified as‘improvement’and‘non-improvement’(including‘no change’and‘exacerbation’).Results:Among 101 patients with type 1 AIP,52(51.5%)patients were complicated with DM at the time of AIP diagnosis,with 36 patients in the cDM group and 16 patients in the pDM *** incidences of diffuse pancreatic swelling(72.2%)and pancreatic body/tail involvement(91.7%)were significantly higher in the cDM group than in both the pDM and nDM *** the 52 patients with DM,CST was administered in 48 *** logistic analysis identified that elevated serum gamma-glutamyl transferase(GGT)level at AIP diagnosis[odds ratio(OR)=0.032,95%confidence interval(CI):0.003-0.412,P=0.008]and pancreatic atrophy after CST(OR=0.027,95%CI:0.003-0.295,P=0.003)were negatively associated with DM control ***:Patients with diffuse pancreatic swelling and pancreatic body/tail involvement in pancreatitis tended to be complicated with cDM at AIP *** exerted a beneficial effect on the clinical course of DM in nearly half of the AIP patients complicated with DM at diagnosis,particularly in those without elevated serum GGT levels at diagnosis and who did not experience pancreatic atrophy after CST.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a cancer with high incidence and mortality rates worldwide. In the various treatment methods for HCC, the lack of cancer cell specificity and the development of multidrug resistance (MDR) are two major obstacles in the treatment of HCC. P-glycoprotein (P-gp) is an ATP-dependent drug efflux pump that can reduce the accumulation of drugs in cells and make cancer cells acquire drug resistance. D-α-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate (Vitamin E TPGS or TPGS) can inhibit the activity of ATP-dependent P-gp and serves as an effective excipient for overcoming tumor multidrug resistance (MDR). TPGS has been approved by the FDA as a safe adjuvant and is widely used in drug delivery systems. The biological and physicochemical properties of TPGS provide multiple advantages for its application in drug delivery, such as high biocompatibility, enhanced drug solubility, improved drug permeation, and selective antitumor activity. In recent years, more and more studies have found that using TPGS-modified nanomaterials to load chemotherapy drugs to treat tumors can effectively reverse the drug resistance of tumors, including HCC. This review summarizes and discusses the role of TPGS in reversing tumor drug resistance and the therapeutic effects of TPGS-based drugs on drug-resistant HCC.

Crop type mapping using remote sensing is critical for global agricultural monitoring and food ***,the complexity of crop planting patternsand spatial heterogeneity pose significant challenges to field data collection,thereby limiting the accuracy of remotely sensed crop *** study proposed a new approach for rapidly collecting field crop data by integrating unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)images with the YOLOv3(You Only Look Once version 3)*** impacts of UAV flight altitude and the number of training samples on the accuracy of crop identification models were investigated using peanut,soybean,and maize as *** results showed that the average Fl-score for crop type detection accuracy reached 0.91 when utilizing UAV images captured at an altitude of 20 *** addition,a positive correlation was observed between identification accuracy and the number of training *** model developed in this study can rapidly and automatically identify crop types from UAV images,which significantly improves the survey efficiency and provides an innovative solution for acquiring field crop data in large areas.
