Cloning and characterization of Methoprene-tolerant(Met)and Kruppel homolog 1(Kr-h1)genes in the wheat blossom midge,Sitodiplosis mosellana

Juvenile hormone(JH),a growth regulator,inhibits ecdysteroid-induced meta-morphosis and controls insect development and ***-tolerant(Met)and Krippel homolog I(Kr-h1)are two proteins involved in JH *** gain some insight into their function in development of Sitodiplosis mosellana,an insect pest undergoing obligatory larval diapause at the mature 3rd instar stage,we cloned full-length complemen-tary DNAs of Met and Kr-h1 from this *** encoded a putative protein,which contained three domains typical of the bHLH-PAS family and eight conserved amino acid residues important for JH ***-h1 encoded a protein showing high sequence homology to its counterparts in other specics,and contained all eight highly conserved Zn-finger motifs for *** patterns of SmMet and SmKr hl were de-velopmentally regulated and JH III responsive as *** mRNA abundance increased as larvae entered carly 3rd instar,pre-diapause and maintenance stages,and peaked during post-diapause quiescence,a pattern correlated with JH titers in this *** from reduced expression of SmMer,SmKr-h1 mRNA increased at mid-to-late period of post-diapause *** application of JH II on diapausing larvac also induced the two genes in a dose-dependent *** of SmuMer and SmKr-h1 clearly declined in the pre-pupal phase,and was significantly higher in female adults than male *** results suggest that JH-responsive SmMet and SmKr-h1 might play key roles in diapause induction and maintenance as well as in post-diapause quiescence and adult reproduction,whereas metamorphosis from larvae to pupac might be correlated with their reduced expression.

The intricate hierarchical structure of musculoskeletal tissues,including bone and interface tissues,necessitates the use of complex scaffold designs and material structures to serve as tissue-engineered *** has led to growing interest in the development of gradient bone scaffolds with hierarchical structures mimicking the extracellular matrix of native tissues to achieve improved therapeutic *** on the anatomical characteristics of bone and interfacial tissues,this review provides a summary of current strategies used to design and fabricate biomimetic gradient scaffolds for repairing musculoskeletal tissues,specifically focusing on methods used to construct compositional and structural gradients within the *** latest applications of gradient scaffolds for the regeneration of bone,osteochondral,and tendon-to-bone interfaces are ***,the current progress of testing gradient scaffolds in physiologically relevant animal models of skeletal repair is discussed,as well as the challenges and prospects of moving these scaffolds into clinical application for treating musculoskeletal injuries.

Experimental and numerical studies of titanium foil/steel explosively welded clad plate

Ti/Fe clad plate had attracted extensive attention because of its important application. In order to reduce the titanium layer thickness, the explosive welding of TA1 titanium foil to Q235 steel plate was carried out. The interfacial bonding performance was analyzed by micromorphology analysis and mechanical property test, and the formation process of interfacial wave and molten block in the vortex was simulated by smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH) method. The results showed that salt as pressure transfer layer used in explosive welding could play a good buffer effect on the collision between flyer and base layers. Regular waveforms were formed on the bonding interface, and the titanium foil/steel clad plate exhibited good welding quality and bonding property. The crest of the observed interfacial wave moved 200 μm from the beginning to the final formation, and it was important of jet on the formation of interfacial waveform. The interface was mainly bonded in the form of molten layer, and the grains near the interface were streamlined. Molten block containing intermetallic compounds and metal oxides appeared in the vortex of wave crest.

Parkinson’s disease is a common neurodegenerative disease with movement disorders associated with the intracytoplasmic deposition of aggregate proteins such asα-synuclein in *** one of the major intracellular degradation pathways,the autophagy-lysosome pathway plays an important role in eliminating these *** evidence has shown that upregulation of the autophagy-lysosome pathway may contribute to the clearance ofα-synuclein aggregates and protect against degeneration of dopaminergic neurons in Parkinson’s ***,multiple genes associated with the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease are intimately linked to alterations in the autophagy-lysosome ***,this pathway appears to be a promising therapeutic target for treatment of Parkinson’s *** this review,we briefly introduce the machinery of ***,we provide a description of the effects of Parkinson’s disease–related genes on the autophagy-lysosome ***,we highlight the potential chemical and genetic therapeutic strategies targeting the autophagy–lysosome pathway and their applications in Parkinson’s disease.

By the end of 2020,83 silver deposits(or ore occurrences),including four super-large-scale deposits,nine large-scale deposits,33 medium-scale deposits and 37 small-scale deposits or ore occurrences,have been *** amount of silver metal exceeds 86000 t with average grade of 100 g/t,which makes Daxing’anling region one of the the most important silver ore belt in ***,the metallogenic characteristics and metallogenesis need to be *** silver deposits in the study area are classified into three main types,which are magmatic hydrothermal vein type,continental volcano-subvolcanic type and skarn type,*** supergiant deposits include the Shuangjianzishan deposit(silver metal amount of 15214 t with average grade of 138 g/t),the Baiyinchagandongshan deposit(silver metal amount of 9446 t with average grade of 187 g/t),the Huaobaote deposit(silver metal amount of 6852 t with average grade of 170 g/t),and the Fuxingtun deposit(silver metal amount of 5240 t with average grade of 196 g/t).The silver deposits are mainly distributed in the central and south of the Daxing’anling area,and mainly formed in the Yanshanian *** silver polymetallic deposits in the Daxinganling area are significantly controlled by regional faults and the junction zone of volcanic rock basins and their *** north-east trending deep faults are the most important ore-controlling structures in this *** distribution of silver polymetallic deposits along the main faults is obvious,and the intersection area of multiple groups of faults often form important mine *** Permian is the most important ore-bearing formation in this area,but some important silver polymetallic deposits occur in Mesozoic volcanic basins or pre-Mesozoic *** magmatic rocks related to mineralization are mainly intermediate acidic or acidic intrusions,intermediate acidic lavas,pyroclastic rocks,and small intrusions of ultra-shallow or shallow facies of the Yanshanian Perio

The leaching kinetics of selenium from copper anode slimes was studied in a nitric acid?sulfuric acid *** effects of main parameters on selenium leaching showed that the leaching rate of selenium was practically independent of stirring speed,while dependent on temperature and the concentrations of HNO3and *** leaching of selenium includes two *** activation energy in the first stage is103.5kJ/mol,and the chemical reaction is the rate controlling *** was almost independent of H2SO4concentration and dependent on HNO3concentration since the empirical reaction order with respect to HNO3concentration *** the second stage,the activation energy is30.6kJ/mol,and the process is controlled by a mixture of diffusion and chemical *** leaching of selenium was almost independent of HNO3concentration.

C-Alkyl glycosides are found in natural products and are indispensable in drug development programs,owing to their diverse range of medicinal ***-component reactions involving glycosyl radical addition are well documented and proved efficient for the C-alkyl glycosides ***,multicomponent reactions for the rapid and controllable construction of structurally diversified C-alkyl glycosides in a single step remains a significant challenge due to the issues associated with balancing reactivity,compatibility,and ***,we report an NHC and photoredox co-catalyzed three-component method to access complex and valuable C-alkyl *** protocol exhibits broad substrate scope and excellent chemoand ***,nine types of sugars are compatible with this *** addition,the generality of this catalytic strategy was further highlighted by the potential for scalable production,the feasibility of further modifications of the products and its successful application in the late-stage functionalization of pharmaceutical skeletons.
