Path Tracking Controller Design of Automated Parking Systems via NMPC with an Instructible Solution

Parking difficulties have become a social issue that people have to *** parking system is practicable for quick par operations without a driver which can also greatly reduces the probability of parking *** paper proposes a Lyapunov-based nonlinear model predictive controller embedding an instructable solution which is generated by the modified rear-wheel feedback method(RF-LNMPC)in order to improve the overall path tracking accuracy in parking ***,A discrete-time RF-LNMPC considering the position and attitude of the parking vehicle is proposed to increase the success rate of automated parking ***,the RF-LNMPC problem with a multi-objective cost function is solved by the Interior-Point Optimization,of which the iterative initial values are described as the instructable solutions calculated by combining modified rear-wheel feedback to improve the performance of local optimal ***,the details on the computation of the terminal constraint and terminal cost for the linear time-varying case is *** closed-loop stability is verified via Lyapunov techniques by considering the terminal constraint and terminal cost ***,the proposed RF-LNMPC is implemented on a selfdriving Lincoln MKZ platform and the experiment results have shown improved performance in parallel and vertical parking *** Monte Carlo analysis also demonstrates good stability and repeatability of the proposed method which can be applied in practical use in the near future.

Transient Stability Preventive Control of Wind Farm Connected Power System Considering the Uncertainty

To address uncertainty as well as transient stability constraints simultaneously in the preventive control of windfarm systems, a novel three-stage optimization strategy is established in this paper. In the first stage, the probabilisticmulti-objective particle swarm optimization based on the point estimate method is employed to cope with thestochastic factors. The transient security region of the system is accurately ensured by the interior point methodin the second stage. Finally, the verification of the final optimal objectives and satisfied constraints are enforcedin the last stage. Furthermore, the proposed strategy is a general framework that can combine other optimizationalgorithms. The proposed methodology is tested on the modified WSCC 9-bus system and the New England 39-bussystem. The results verify the feasibility of the method.

Study on multi-timescale operation of hydrogen-containing energy coupled with transportation system

With the widespread attention on hydrogen energy, the operation optimization of the coupling system of hydrogen energy and transportation has become a critical issue. Therefore, this study develops a hydrogen-containing energy transportation coupling system for the system collaborative operation framework, operation mode and equipment modelling of the system. Furthermore, a medium- to long-term operation optimization model and a short-term operation optimization model were constructed considering the differences in the operation of coupled systems at different timescales and operating costs as the objective function and power balance and system equipment as constraints. In the medium- and long-term operation optimization model, the planning scenario reduction method is used to reduce the wind power generation scenario. In the short-term operation optimization model, a multivariate uncertainty model is constructed to represent the uncertainty in the coupling system. Subsequently, the solution method of the model is proposed. Finally, a coupled system is simulated to verify the effectiveness of the model. (i) When the initial scene set is 600, the typical scene reduction method using Latin hypercube sampling and the Wasserstein distance can reduce operating costs by 7.60% and 9.49% compared with K-means reduction and K-media reduction methods. (ii) The sensitivity coefficients of hydrogen sales price, electricity sales price and maintenance rate to operating costs are -0.031%, -1.009% and 0.0105%, respectively. (iii) Considering multiple uncertainties can help make optimal decisions based on the overall consideration of disadvantage scenarios, thereby reducing system operating costs. Medium-to-long-term and short-term optimization models are constructed for operation of a hydrogen-containing energy transportation system, considering operation of coupled systems at different timescales. We explore the possibility that domain wall networks generate the stochastic gravitational wave background(SGWB) observed as a strong common power-law process in the Data Release-2 of Parkes Pulsar Timing Array. We find that a broad range of parameters, specifically wall tension around σ_(DW)^(29-414 TeV)^(3) and wall-decay temperature within T_(d) ~ 20-257 MeV, can explain this phenomenon at a 68% credible level. Meanwhile, the same parameters could ease the Hubble tension if particles from these domain wall networks decay into dark radiation. We establish a direct analytical relationship, ΩGW(f_(p), T_(0))h^(2)~ Ω_(rad)h^(2)(Ω_νΩN_(eff))^(2),to illustrate this coincidence, underlining its importance in the underlying physics and potential applicability to a wider range of models and data. Conversely, if the common power-law process is not attributed to domain wall networks, our findings impose tight limits on the wall tension and decay temperature.

Video-Based Deception Detection with Non-Contact Heart Rate Monitoring and Multi-Modal Feature Selection

Deception detection plays a crucial role in criminal *** contain a wealth of information regarding apparent and physiological changes in individuals,and thus can serve as an effective means of deception *** this paper,we investigate video-based deception detection considering both apparent visual features such as eye gaze,head pose and facial action unit(AU),and non-contact heart rate detected by remote photoplethysmography(rPPG)*** wrapper-based feature selection methods combined with the K-nearest neighbor(KNN)and support vector machine(SVM)classifiers are employed to screen the most effective features for deception *** evaluate the performance of the proposed method on both a self-collected physiological-assisted visual deception detection(PV3D)dataset and a public bag-oflies(BOL)*** results demonstrate that the SVM classifier with symbiotic organisms search(SOS)feature selection yields the best overall performance,with an area under the curve(AUC)of 83.27%and accuracy(ACC)of 83.33%for PV3D,and an AUC of 71.18%and ACC of 70.33%for *** demonstrates the stability and effectiveness of the proposed method in video-based deception detection tasks.

Robust multi-sensor image matching based on normalized self-similarity region descriptor

Multi-modal image matching is crucial in aerospace applications because it can fully exploit the complementary and valuable information contained in the amount and diversity of remote sensing ***,it remains a challenging task due to significant non-linear radiometric,geometric differences,and noise across different *** improve the performance of heterologous image matching,this paper proposes a normalized self-similarity region descriptor to extract consistent structural *** first construct the pointwise self-similarity region descriptor based on the Euclidean distance between adjacent image blocks to reflect the structural properties of multi-modal ***,a linear normalization approach is used to form Modality Independent Region Descriptor(MIRD),which can effectively distinguish structural features such as points,lines,corners,and flat between multi-modal *** further improve the matching accuracy,the included angle cosine similarity metric is adopted to exploit the directional vector information of multi-dimensional feature *** experimental results show that the proposed MIRD has better matching accuracy and robustness for various multi-modal image matching than the state-of-the-art *** can effectively extract consistent geometric structure features and suppress the influence of SAR speckle noise using non-local neighboring image blocks operation,effectively applied to various multi-modal image matching.
