With the diversified development of big data,detection and precision guidance technologies,electromagnetic(EM)functional materials and devices serving multiple spectrums have become a hot *** the multispectral response of materials is a challenging and meaningful scientific *** this study,MXene/TiO_(2)hybrids with tunable conduction loss and polarization relaxation are fabricated by in situ atomic reconstruction *** importantly,MXene/TiO_(2)hybrids exhibit adjustable spectral responses in the GHz,infrared and visible spectrums,and several EM devices are constructed based on *** antenna array provides excellent EM energy harvesting in multiple microwave bands,with|S11|up to−63.2 dB,and can be tuned by the degree of *** ultra-wideband bandpass filter realizes a passband of about 5.4 GHz and effectively suppresses the transmission of EM signals in the *** infrared stealth device has an emissivity of less than 0.2 in the infrared spectrum at wavelengths of 6-14μ*** work can provide new inspiration for the design and development of multifunctional,multi-spectrum EM devices.

Stability of bedded rock slopes subjected to hydro-fluctuation and associated strength deterioration

Reservoir-induced earthquakes(RIEs)occur frequently in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area(TGRA)and the rock mass strength of the hydro-fluctuation belt(HFB)deteriorates severely due to the reservoirinduced seismic *** models of typical bedded rock slopes(BRSs),***(GIS),moderately(MIS),and steeply(SIS)inclined slopes,were proposed according to field *** dynamic response mechanism and stability of the BRSs,affected by the rock mass deterioration of the HFB,were investigated by the shaking table test and the universal distinct element code(UDEC)***,the amplification coefficient of the peak ground acceleration(PGA)of the slope was gradually attenuated under multiple seismic loads,and the acceleration response showed obvious“surface effect”and“elevation effect”in the horizontal and vertical directions,***“S-type”cubic function and“steep-rise type”exponential function were used to characterize the cumulative damage evolution of the slope caused by microseismic waves(low seismic waves)and high seismic waves,*** to the dynamic responses of the acceleration,cumulative displacement,rock pressure,pore water pressure,damping ratio,natural frequency,stability coefficient,and sliding velocity of the slope,the typical evolution processes of the dynamic cumulative damage and instability failure of the slope were generalized,and the numerical and experimental results were *** the dynamic effects of the slope height(SH),slope angle(SA),bedding plane thickness(BPT),dip angle of the bedding plane(DABP),dynamic load amplitude(DLA),dynamic load frequency(DLF),height of water level of the hydro-fluctuation belt(HWLHFB),degradation range of the hydro-fluctuation belt(DRHFB),and degradation shape of the hydro-fluctuation belt(DSHFB),the sensitivity of factors influencing the slope dynamic stability using the orthogonal analysis method(OAM)was DLA>DRHFB>SA>SH>DLF>HWLHFB>DSHFB>DABP>BPT.

In this paper,we formulate the precoding problem of integrated sensing and communication(ISAC)waveform as a non-convex quadratically constrained quadratic programming(QCQP),in which the weighted sum of communication multi-user interference(MUI)and the gap between dual-use waveform and ideal radar waveform is minimized with peak-toaverage power ratio(PAPR)*** propose an efficient algorithm based on alternating direction method of multipliers(ADMM),which is able to decouple multiple variables and provide a closed-form solution for each *** addition,to improve the sensing performance in both spatial and temporal domains,we propose a new criteria to design the ideal radar waveform,in which the beam pattern is made similar to the ideal one and the integrated sidelobe level of the ambiguity function in each target direction is minimized in the region of *** limited memory Broyden-Fletcher-Goldfarb-Shanno(LBFGS)algorithm is applied to the design of the ideal radar waveform which works as a reference in the design of the dual-function *** results indicate that the designed dual-function waveform is capable of offering good communication quality of service(QoS)and sensing performance.

Super-high bed sintering for iron ores:behaviors,causes and solutions of horizontal segregation on strand

Horizontal segregation has been a constraint to the development and application of super-high bed *** eliminate the horizontal segregation of super-high bed sintering,several typical sintering machines were sampled and analyzed,and theoretical calculation was made to compare the bed depth and their differences in different areas within the mixture ***,solutions were proposed and applied to a 265 m^(2) sintering *** results showed that the horizontal seg-regation of the 265 m^(2) sintering machine was dominated by particles larger than 8 mm with horizontal segregation degree of 0.48,while 360 and 550 m^(2) sintering machines were affected by 5-8 mm and 1-3 mm particles with horizontal segregation degree of 0.27 and 0.31,*** analysis indicated the different segregation distribution results from the matching of the bed depth of each area within the mixture ***,the horizontal segregation degree not larger than 0.06 was achieved by optimizing the time parameters and the division of three zones on the 265 m^(2) sintering machine.

Stimulated emission depletion microscopy(STED)holds great potential in biological science applications,especially in studying nanoscale subcellular ***,multi-color STED imaging in live-cell remains challenging due to the limited excitation wavelengths and large amount of laser ***,we develop a multiplexed live-cell STED method to observe more structures simultaneously with limited photo-bleaching and *** separating live-cell fluorescent probes with similar spectral properties using phasor analysis,our method enables five-color live-cell STED imaging and reveals long-term interactions between different subcellular *** results here provide an avenue for understanding the complex and delicate interactome of subcellular structures in live-cell.

Electrocatalysts with high activity and long-term durability are vital toward large-scale hydrogen pro-duction from electrocatalytic water ***,the self-supported electrode(FeO_(χ)H_(y)@Ni_(3)B/NF)with hierarchical heterostructure was simply prepared by using Ni_(3)B chunks grown on nickel foam as sub-strate to in situ form vertical FeO_(χ)H_(y)*** hybrid shows efficient oxygen evolution reaction activity with overpotentials as low as 267 and 249 mV at 100 mA cm^(-2)in 1 M KOH solution and 30 wt%KOH solution,***,it also exhibits excellent catalytic stability,sustaining catalysis at 500 mA cm^(-2)in 1 M KOH solution for 200 h,and even for 200 h at 1000 mA cm^(-2)in 30 wt%KOH *** experimental results reveal that the FeO_(χ)H_(y)@Ni_(3)B/NF is endowed with superhydrophilic and superaerophobic surface properties,which not only provide more mass transport channels,as well as facilitated the diffusion of reaction intermediates and gas ***,it holds faster reaction kinetics,more accessible active sites and accelerated electron transfer rates due to strong synergistic interactions attheheterogeneous interface.

Multi-area Frequency-constrained Unit Commitment for Power Systems with High Penetration of Renewable Energy Sources and Induction Machine Load

The increasing penetration of renewable energy sources(RESs)brings great challenges to the frequency security of power *** traditional frequency-constrained unit commitment(FCUC)analyzes frequency by simplifying the average system frequency and ignoring numerous induction machines(IMs)in load,which may underestimate the risk and increase the operational *** this paper,we consider a multiarea frequency response(MAFR)model to capture the frequency dynamics in the unit scheduling problem,in which regional frequency security and the inertia of IM load are modeled with high-dimension differential algebraic equations.A multi-area FCUC(MFCUC)is formulated as mixed-integer nonlinear programming(MINLP)on the basis of the MAFR ***,we develop a multi-direction decomposition algorithm to solve the MFCUC *** original MINLP is decomposed into a master problem and *** subproblems check the nonlinear frequency dynamics and generate linear optimization cuts for the master problem to improve the frequency security in its optimal *** studies on the modified IEEE 39-bus system and IEEE 118-bus system show a great reduction in operational ***,simulation results verify the ability of the proposed MAFR model to reflect regional frequency security and the available inertia of IMs in unit scheduling.

Through carrying out the high-temperature tensile experiments on an as-extruded Mg-11wt%Y alloy at 350℃,400℃,450℃,500℃and 550℃,the mechanical behavior and fracture mechanisms at elevated temperatures are investigated and *** results show that with the increase of temperature,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the alloy increase at first and then decrease,while that the elongation ratio decreases firstly and then *** the sample being tested at 350℃,the values of yield strength,ultimate tensile strength and the elongation ratio are 188 MPa,266 MPa and 11%,*** 400℃,the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength reach the maximum values of,respectively,198 MPa and 277 MPa,but the elongation ratio is the lowest and its value is only 8%.When the applied temperature is increased to 550℃,the values of yield strength and ultimate tensile strength,respectively,decrease to 140 MPa and 192 MPa and the elongation ratio increases to 38%.Failure analysis demonstrates that the fracture surfaces of different samples are mainly composed of plastic dimples and exhibit the typical characteristic of ductile *** observation to the fracture side surfaces indicates that at the temperatures of 350℃and 400℃,microcracks mainly initiate in the interior of Mg_(24)Y_(5)*** the temperatures are 450℃,500℃and 550℃,the cracks preferentially initiate at the Mg_(24)Y_(5)/α-Mg interfaces.

Background:Although the treatment of peripheral T-cell lymphoma(PTCL)has undergone advancements during the past several years,the response rate and long-term effects with respect to patients with PTCL remain unsatisfactory—particularly for relapsed or refractory(R/R)*** phase II trial was designed to explore the efficacy and safety of an all-oral regimen of chidamide plus prednisone,cyclophosphamide,and thalidomide(CPCT)for R/R PTCL patients who could not tolerate the standard chemotherapy for a variety of ***:We conducted a multicenter phase II clinical trial in which we combined chidamide(30 mg twice weekly)with prednisone(20 mg daily after breakfast),cyclophosphamide(50 mg daily after lunch),and thalidomide(100 mg daily at bedtime)(the CPCT regimen)for a total of fewer than 12 cycles as an induction-combined treatment period,and then applied chidamide as single-drug ***-five patients were ultimately enrolled from August 2016 to April 2021 with respect to Chinese patients at nine *** primary objective was to assess the overall response rate(ORR)after the treatment with ***:Of the 45 enrolled patients,the optimal ORR and complete response(CR)/CR unconfirmed(CRu)were 71.1%(32/45)and 28.9%(13/45),respectively,and after a median follow-up period of 56 months,the median progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)were 8.5 months and 17.2 months,*** five-year PFS and OS rates were 21.2%(95%confidence interval[CI],7.9-34.5%)and 43.8%(95%CI,28.3-59.3%),*** most common adverse event was neutropenia(20/45,44.4%),but we observed no treatment-related ***:The all-oral CPCT regimen was an effective and safe regimen for R/R PTCL patients who could not tolerate standard chemotherapy for various *** Registration:***,NCT02879526.
