Perfluoropentane-based oxygen-loaded nanodroplets reduce microglial activation through metabolic reprogramming

Microglia,the primary immune cells within the brain,have gained recognition as a promising therapeutic target for managing neurodegenerative diseases within the central nervous system,including Parkinson’s *** perfluorocarbon droplets have been reported to not only possess a high oxygen-carrying capacity,but also exhibit remarkable anti-inflammatory ***,the role of perfluoropentane in microglia-mediated central inflammatory reactions remains poorly *** this study,we developed perfluoropentane-based oxygen-loaded nanodroplets(PFP-OLNDs)and found that pretreatment with these droplets suppressed the lipopolysaccharide-induced activation of M1-type microglia in vitro and in vivo,and suppressed microglial activation in a mouse model of Parkinson’s *** suppression led to a reduction in the inflammatory response,oxidative stress,and cell migration capacity in ***,the neurotoxic effects were mitigated,which alleviated neuronal ***,ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry showed that the anti-inflammatory effects of PFP-OLNDs mainly resulted from the modulation of microglial metabolic *** further showed that PFP-OLNDs regulated microglial metabolic reprogramming through the AKT-mTOR-HIF-1α***,our findings suggest that the novel PFP-OLNDs constructed in this study alleviate microglia-mediated central inflammatory reactions through metabolic reprogramming.

Cu-Mn co-doped CeO_(2) photocatalyst was successfully synthesized by the sol-gel method to assess its capability in degrading *** and TEM results showed that Cu and Mn were successfully co-doped into CeO_(2) without forming heterostructure,XPS and photoelectrochemical results revealed that Mn ions doping amplified the generation of photo-induced charge carriers,while Cu ions doping significantly facilitated the interfacial charge transfer ***,the optimized Cu3Mn2CeO_(2) nanoparticles exhibited the highest TC removal efficiency,achieved a rate of 78.18%and maintained a stable cycling performance.

Performance Analysis of a Coupled System based on Organic Rankine Cycle and Double Effect Absorption Refrigeration for Waste Heat Recovery in Data Center

During data center operation,it generates a significant volume of low-grade waste *** recover waste heat,a coupled system including solar collector,double effect absorption refrigeration and organic Rankine cycle is *** system performance is analyzed in *** the organic Rankine cycle,five organic working fluids(R245fa,R245ca,R123,R11,and R113) are selected.R245fa,R113 and R245ca obtain the maximum net power output,thermal efficiency and exergy efficiency,*** the double effect absorption refrigeration system,the evaporation temperature,condensation temperature,and generation pressure affect the COP and exergy *** the generator pressure is unchanged,the COP increases with increasing evaporation temperature and decreasing condensation *** the COP reaches 1.3,the COP slightly decreases as the evaporation temperature or condensation temperature ***,the exergy efficiency of refrigeration systems exhibits the same trend as the COP,and the exergy efficiency maximum value appears at approximately 0.32.A new performance indicator,rpuE,was defined to evaluate the data center power utilization *** flow distribution ratio and heat source temperature were optimized with multi-objective *** the mass flow distribution rate is 0.6 and the heat source temperature is 441.5 K,rpuE and the total unit production costs of the system obtain the optimal solution.

Focal adhesion kinase (FAK), a protein tyrosine kinase that functions in signaling events between cells and their extracellular matrix, is associated with the regulation of cell growth, migration, and survival. Morphological Mechanism and Experimental Verification of Self-healing of Basalt-fiber Modified Water-soaked Asphalt

This study investigates the mechanism of action of representative molecules of basalt fibers on the healing of water-soaked *** parameters,morphological characteristics,interfacial healing energy,and interfacial healing strength were analyzed using molecular dynamics and macroscopic tests under different time,temperature,and water conditions to evaluate the specific states and critical conditions involved in *** results indicate that basalt-fiber molecules can induce rearrangement and a combination of water-soaked asphalt at the healing *** groups with different bonding states increase the interfacial adsorption capacity of water-soaked *** interaction between basalt fiber molecules and water molecules leads to a"hoop"phenomenon,while aromatics-2 molecules exhibit a"ring band aggregation"*** former reduces the miscibility of water and asphalt molecules,while the latter causes slow diffusion of the ***,a micro-macro dual-scale comparison of interfacial healing strength was conducted at temperatures of 297.15 and 312.15 K to identify the strength transition point and critical temperature of 299.4 K during the self-healing process of basalt-fiber modified water-soaked asphalt.

Peripheral blood RNA biomarkers can predict lesion severity in degenerative cervical myelopathy

Degenerative cervical myelopathy is a common cause of spinal cord injury,with longer symptom duration and higher myelopathy severity indicating a worse *** numerous studies have investigated serological biomarkers for acute spinal cord injury,few studies have explored such biomarkers for diagnosing degenerative cervical *** study involved 30 patients with degenerative cervical myelopathy(51.3±7.3 years old,12 women and 18 men),seven healthy controls(25.7±1.7 years old,one woman and six men),and nine patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(51.9±8.6 years old,three women and six men).Analysis of blood samples from the three groups showed clear differences in transcriptomic *** analysis identified 128 differentially expressed genes that were enriched in patients with neurological *** least absolute shrinkage and selection operator analysis,we constructed a five-gene model(TBCD,TPM2,PNKD,EIF4G2,and AP5Z1)to diagnose degenerative cervical myelopathy with an accuracy of 93.5%.One-gene models(TCAP and SDHA)identified mild and severe degenerative cervical myelopathy with accuracies of 83.3%and 76.7%,*** of two immune cell types(memory B cells and memory-activated CD4^(+)T cells)predicted levels of lesions in degenerative cervical myelopathy with 80%*** results suggest that peripheral blood RNA biomarkers could be used to predict lesion severity in degenerative cervical myelopathy.

通过利用固相微萃取-气质联用色谱测定天津市寡盐水养鱼池中浮游藻类和放线菌的次生代谢产物——土腥异味化合物（土臭味素和二甲基异莰醇）浓度，感官评价养殖鱼土腥异味程度，同时测定浮游藻类和放线菌生物量，探讨鱼池中土臭味素和二甲基异莰醇浓度、浮游藻类和放线菌生物量以及养殖鱼异味之间的相互关系。结果表明，寡盐水养鱼池水体中普遍存在土臭味素和二甲基异莰醇，其中二甲基异莰醇是鱼池中的主要异味物质，浓度0．33—5302．70ng·L^-1，土臭味素浓度相对较低，0．29～12．10ng·L^-1。养鱼池中共测到6门94属的浮游藻类，生物量0．07～186．48mg·L^-1，以蓝藻Cyanophyta、裸藻Euglenophyta等种类为主。放线菌共测到3个属，总生物量0．01×10^4-1．50×10^4个·L^-1，以链霉菌属Streptomyces为主。巨颤藻Oscillatoria princeps和放线菌是天津地区寡盐水养鱼池中能够产生二甲基异莰的主要产源。水体异味和鱼肉发生异味不同步。

Developing organic room-temperature phosphorescence （RTP） materials with a wide range of tunable-emission is significant in expanding the applications of RTP ***,we rationally designed amphiphilic alternating copolymers poly(1,2-bis（4-alkoxyphenyl）ethane-1,2-dione-alt-（ethylene glycol）x)(P（Bz-alt-EGx）) that combined the advantage of alternating benzil and EGxskeleton,and tunable mainchain *** a mainchain conformation ordering assembly （COA） process,P（Bz-alt-EGx） self-assembled into well-defined platelets,and such assemblies emitted blue RTP at ca.425 nm due to the ordered folded-chain conformation and confined *** contrast,traditional self-assembly （TA） of P（Bz-alt-EGx） obtained less ordered aggregates,such as asymmetric worms,vesicles,and rod-like *** resultant less ordered aggregates exhibited yellow-green RTP at ca.550 *** wide-tuning RTP emission in solution （between blue and yellow-green,over125 nm） is realized using the P（Bz-alt-EGx） alternating copolymers under the treatment of different self-assembly *** study uncovers a new strategy to tailor the RTP emission through different self-assembly pathways and holds great promise for the fabrication of advanced optical materials.
