Several studies have found that transplantation of neural progenitor cells(NPCs)promotes the survival of injured ***,a poor integration rate and high risk of tumorigenicity after cell transplantation limits their clinical *** extracellular vesicles(sEVs)contain bioactive molecules for neuronal protection and *** studies have shown that stem/progenitor cell-derived sEVs can promote neuronal survival and recovery of neurological function in neurodegenerative eye diseases and other eye *** this study,we intravitreally transplanted sEVs derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells(hiPSCs)and hiPSCs-differentiated NPCs(hiPSC-NPC)in a mouse model of optic nerve *** results show that these intravitreally injected sEVs were ingested by retinal cells,especially those localized in the ganglion cell *** with hiPSC-NPC-derived sEVs mitigated optic nerve crush-induced retinal ganglion cell degeneration,and regulated the retinal microenvironment by inhibiting excessive activation of *** analysis further revealed that hiPSC-NPC derived sEVs transported neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory miRNA cargos to target cells,which had protective effects on RGCs after optic nerve *** findings suggest that sEVs derived from hiPSC-NPC are a promising cell-free therapeutic strategy for optic neuropathy.

Mercury(Hg)pollution has been a global concern in recent decades,posing a significant threat to entire ecosystems and human health due to its cumulative toxicity,persistence,and transport in the *** intense interaction between mercury and selenium has opened up a new field for studying mercury removal from industrial flue gas *** the advantages of good Hg0 capture performance and lowsecondary pollution of the mineral selenium compounds,the most noteworthy is the relatively low regeneration temperature,allowing adsorbent regeneration with low energy consumption,thus reducing the utilization cost and enabling recovery of mercury *** paper reviews the recent progress of mineral selenium compounds in flue gas mercury removal,introduces in detail the different types ofmineral selenium compounds studied in the field ofmercury removal,reviews the adsorption performance of various mineral selenium compounds adsorbents on mercury and the influence of flue gas components,such as reaction temperature,air velocity,and other factors,and summarizes the adsorption mechanism of different fugitive forms of selenium *** on the current research progress,future studies should focus on the economic performance and the performance of different carriers and sizes of adsorbents for the removal of Hg0 and the correlation between the gas-particle flow characteristics and gas phase mass transfer with the performance of Hg0 removal in practical industrial *** addition,it remains a challenge to distinguish the oxidation and adsorption of Hg0 quantitatively.

Accurately predicting battery degradation is crucial for battery system ***,due to the complexities of aging mechanisms and limitations of historical data,comprehensively indicating battery degradation solely through maximum capacity loss assessment is *** machine learning offers promising solutions,it often overlooks domain knowledge,resulting in reduced accu racy,increased computational burden and decreased ***,this study proposes a method to predict the voltage-capacity（V-Q） curve during battery degradation with limited historical *** process is achieved through two physically interpretable components:a lightweight interpretable physical model and a physics-informed neural *** components incorporate domain knowledge into machine learning to improve V-Q curve prediction performance and enhance *** validation was conducted on 52 batteries of different types under different testing *** proposed method can accurately predict future *** for hundreds of cycles using only one-present-cycle V-Q curve,with root mean square error and mean absolute error basically less than 0.035 Ah and R2basically less than 98.5%.This means that incremental capacity curves can be extracted from the predicted results for a more comprehensive and accurate battery degradation ***,the method can flexibly adjust prediction length and density to cater to the practical needs of long-cycle prediction and data *** study provides a viable method for rapid degradation prediction and is expected to be generalized to in-vehicle implementations.

BACKGROUND Currently,very few studies have examined the analgesic effectiveness and safety of dexmedetomidine-assisted intravenous-inhalation combined general anesthesia in laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery for inguinal *** To investigate the analgesic effect and safety of dexmedetomidine-assisted intravenous-inhalation combined general anesthesia in laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery for inguinal *** In this retrospective study,94 patients scheduled for laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery for inguinal hernia,admitted to Yiwu Central Hospital between May 2022 and May 2023,were divided into a control group(inhalation combined general anesthesia)and a treatment group(dexmedetomidine-assisted intrave-nous-inhalation combined general anesthesia).Perioperative indicators,analgesic effect,preoperative and postoperative 24-hours blood pressure(BP)and heart rate(HR),stress indicators,immune function levels,and adverse reactions were com-pared between the two *** Baseline data,including age,hernia location,place of residence,weight,monthly income,education level,and underlying diseases,were not significantly different between the two groups,indicating comparability(P>0.05).No significant difference was found in operation time and anesthesia time between the two groups(P>0.05).However,the treatment group exhibited a shorter postoperative urinary catheter removal time and hospital stay than the control group(P0.05).However,at 12,18,and 24 hours postoper-atively,the treatment group had significantly lower VAS scores than the control group(P0.05),both groups experienced some extent of changes in postoperative HR,diastolic BP(DBP),and systolic BP(SBP).Nevertheless,the treatment group showed smaller c

The muzzle blast overpressure induces disturbances in the flow field inside the crew compartment(FFICC)of a truck-mounted howitzer during the artillery *** overpressure is the primary factor preventing personnel from firing artillery within the *** investigate the overpressure characteristics of the FFICC,a foreign trade equipment model was used as the research object,and a numerical model was established to analyze the propagation of muzzle blast from the muzzle to the interior of the crew compartment under extreme firing *** comparative verification,the muzzle blast experiment included overpressure data from both the flow field outside the crew compartment(FFOCC)and the FFICC,as well as the acceleration data of the crew compartment structure(Str-CC).The research findings demonstrate that the overpressure-time curves of the FFICC exhibit multi-peak characteristics,while the pressure wave shows no significant *** enclosed nature of the cab hinders the dissipation of pressure wave energy within the FFICC,leading to sustained high-amplitude *** frameskin structure helps attenuate the impact of muzzle blast on the ***,local high overpressure caused by the convex or concave features of the cab's exterior significantly amplifies the overpressure amplitude within the FFICC.
