Ecological impacts of the expansion of offshore wind farms on trophic level species of marine food chain

The global demand for renewable energy has resulted in a rapid expansion of offshore wind farms(OWFs)and increased attention to the ecological impacts of OWFs on the marine *** reviews mainly focused on the OWFs’impacts on individual species like birds,bats,or *** review collected numerous field-measured data and simulated results to summarize the ecological impacts on phytoplankton,zooplankton,zoobenthos,fishes,and mammals from each trophic level and also analyze their interactions in the marine food *** and zooplankton are positively or adversely affected by the‘wave effect’,‘shading effect’,oxygen depletion and predation pressure,leading to a ±10% fluctuation of primary *** zoobenthos are threatened transiently by habitat destruction with a reduction of around 60% in biomass in the construction stage,their abundance exhibited an over 90% increase,dominated by sessile species,due to the‘reef effect’in the operation *** fishes and mammals are to endure the interferences of noise and electromagnetic,but they are also aggregated around OWFs by the‘reef effect’and‘reserve effect’.Furthermore,the complexity of marine ecosystem would increase with a promotion of the total system biomass by 40% through trophic cascade effects strengthen and resource partitioning alternation triggered by the proliferation of *** suitable site selection,long-term monitoring,and life-cycle-assessment of ecological impacts of OWFs that are lacking in current literature have been described in this review,as well as the carbon emission and deposition.

The aerospace community widely uses difficult-to-cut materials,such as titanium alloys,high-temperature alloys,metal/ceramic/polymer matrix composites,hard and brittle materials,and geometrically complex components,such as thin-walled structures,microchannels,and complex *** machining is the main material removal process for the vast majority of aerospace ***,many problems exist,including severe and rapid tool wear,low machining efficiency,and poor surface *** energy-assisted mechanical machining is a hybrid process that uses nontraditional energies(vibration,laser,electricity,etc)to improve the machinability of local materials and decrease the burden of mechanical *** provides a feasible and promising method to improve the material removal rate and surface quality,reduce process forces,and prolong tool ***,systematic reviews of this technology are lacking with respect to the current research status and development *** paper reviews the recent progress in the nontraditional energy-assisted mechanical machining of difficult-to-cut materials and components in the aerospace *** addition,this paper focuses on the processing principles,material responses under nontraditional energy,resultant forces and temperatures,material removal mechanisms,and applications of these processes,including vibration-,laser-,electric-,magnetic-,chemical-,advanced coolant-,and hybrid nontraditional energy-assisted mechanical ***,a comprehensive summary of the principles,advantages,and limitations of each hybrid process is provided,and future perspectives on forward design,device development,and sustainability of nontraditional energy-assisted mechanical machining processes are discussed.

BACKGROUND Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP),with its clinical ad-vantages of less trauma and faster recovery,has become the primary treatment for *** To investigate the effects of different ERCP procedures on the sphincter of *** The clinical data of 91 patients who underwent ERCP at Yixing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between February 2018 and February 2021 were analyzed *** patients were divided into endoscopic sphinc-terotomy(EST,n=24)and endoscopic papillary balloon dilation(EPBD,n=67)*** duration of operation,pancreatic development,pancreatic sphinc-terotomy,intubation difficulties,stone recurrence,and incidence of reflux cho-langitis and cholecystitis were statistically analyzed in patients with a history of choledocholithiasis,pancreatitis,and Oddi sphincter dysfunction in the EST and EPBD *** Differences in hypertension,diabetes,increased bilirubin,small diameter of the common bile duct,or ampullary diverticulum between the two groups were not *** significant differences were observed between the two groups concerning sex and age(<60 years).Patients with a history of choledocholithiasis,pancreatitis,and Oddi sphincter dysfunction were higher in the EST group than in the EPBD *** number of cases of pancreatic development,pancreatic duct sphincterotomy,and difficult intubation were higher in the EST group than in the EPBD *** number of Oddi’s sphincter manometries,ERCP surgical outcomes,and guidewires entering the pancreatic duct several times in EST group were lower than those in the EPBD *** numbers of stone recurrences,reflux cholangitis,and cholecystitis were higher in the EST group than in the EPBD *** In summary,common bile duct stones,pancreatitis history,and multiple guided wire introductions into the pancreatic duct are independent risk factors for EST and *** on this evidence,this study can provide

The facile construction of nanoscale NbH_(x)supported by Ti_(3)C_(2)(NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2))was achieved using facile ball milling strategy to improve the hydrogen desorption kinetics and reversibility of magnesium borohydride(Mg(BH_(4))_(2)).The doping of 30 wt%NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2)catalyst reduced the onset dehydrogenation temperature of Mg(BH_(4))_(2)to 71.2℃.Additionally,the Mg(BH_(4))_(2)+30NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2)composite achieved remarkable hydrogen release of over 9.2 wt%at a temperature as low as 230℃,indicating unexpected dehydrogenation ***,the reversibility of NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2)doped Mg(BH_(4))_(2)was retained to more than 4.2 wt%after four cycles,which was increased by 68%compared to that of undoped Mg(BH_(4))_(2).The strong catalysis of NbH_(x)@Ti_(3)C_(2)catalyst could be attributed to the synergistic effect of NbH_(x)and Ti_(3)C_(2)in hydrogen spillover and ***_(x)acted as a"hydrogen pump"for effective hydrogen spillover,while Ti_(3)C_(2)created numerous diffusion channels for hydrogen dissolution and provided the active catalytic site to facilitate the re/dehydrogenation of Mg(BH_(4))_(2).

Hydrogen bonds (H-bonds) are the most essential non-covalent interactions in nature,playing a crucial role in stabilizing the secondary structures of *** inspiration from nature,researchers have developed several multiple H-bonds crosslinked supramolecular polymer materials through the incorporation of H-bond side-chain units into the polymer chains.N-acryloyl glycinamide (NAGA) is a monomer with dual amides in the side group,which facilitates the formation of multiple dense intermolecular H-bonds within poly(N-acryloyl glycinamide)(PNAGA),thereby exhibiting diverse properties dependent on concentration and meeting various requirements across different ***,numerous attempts have been undertaken to synthesize diverse NAGA-derived units through meticulous chemical structure regulation and fabricate corresponding H-bonding crosslinked supramolecular polymer *** this,the systematic clarification of the impact of chemical structures of side moieties on intermolecular associations and material performances remains *** present review will focus on the design principle for synthesizing NAGA-derived H-bond side-chain units and provide an overview of the recent advancements in multiple H-bonds crosslinked PNAGA-derived supramolecular polymer materials,which can be categorized into three groups based on the chemical structure of H-bonds units:(1) monomers with solely cooperative H-bonds;(2) monomers with synergistic H-bonds and other physical interactions;and (3) diol chain extenders with cooperative *** significance of subtle structural variations in these NAGA-derived units,enabling the fabrication of hydrogen-bonded supramolecular polymer materials with significantly diverse performances,will be ***,the extensive applications of multiple H-bonds crosslinked supramolecular polymer materials will be elucidated.

Though there are numerous intrinsic merits of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs),low charge separation efficiency has imposed heavy restrictions on their photocatalytic ***,in situ porphyrin ligand substitution,as a strategy for improving the charge separation efficiency and increasing the amounts of active sites,has been designed and realized in a Hf-biphenyl dicarboxylic acid(BPDC)***,a size and geometry matched meso-tetra(4-carboxyphenyl)porphyrin(TCPP)ligand was selected and doped into Hf-BPDC MOF by forming coordinating bonds with Hf centers,forming dualligand Hf-BPDC-TCPP *** resultant Hf-BPDC-TCPP MOF showed significantly improved activity and chemical stability in the photocatalytic H_(2)generation(261μmol·g^(-1)·h^(-1))and tetracycline(TC)degradation reactions(95.8%),which was 48 and 1.47 folds higher than that of the Hf-BPDC *** and electrochemical studies revealed that the introduction of porphyrin ligand could generate a stronger internal electric field for boosting the charge separation and transfer,increase the specific surface area for providing more active sites,and narrow the band gap to enhance the visible light *** in situ ligand substitution method provides a promising approach to build a tunable platform for constructing high-performance MOF photocatalysts.

Catalytic synthesis of m-diethylbenzene(m-DEB)through alkylation of ethylbenzene(EB)may be a promising alternative route in comparison with traditional rectification of mixed DEB,for which the top priority is to develop efficient and stable heterogeneous ***,the spherical nano-ZSM-5 zeolite with abundant intergranular mesoporous is synthesized by the seed-mediated growth method for alkylation of EB with ethanol to produce *** results show that the spherical nano-ZSM-5 zeolite exhibits better stability and higher alkylation activity at a lower temperature than those of commercial micropore *** then,the spherical nano-ZSM-5 is further modified by La_(2)O_(3) through acid treatment followed by immersion *** acid treatment causes nano-ZSM-5 to exhibit the increased pore size but decreased the acid sites,and subsequent La_(2)O_(3) loading reintroduces the weak acid *** a result,the HNO_(3)-La_(2)O_(3)-modified catalyst exhibits a slight increase in EB conversion and DEB yield in comparison with unmodified one,and meanwhile,it still maintains high m-DEB *** catalyst after acid treatment achieves higher catalytic stability besides maintaining the high alkylation activity of EB with *** present study on the spherical nano-HZSM-5 zeolite and its modification catalyst with excellent alkylation ability provides new insights into the production of mDEB.

Three-dimensional(3D) electrode technology is a competitive water treatment technology owing to its high catalytic efficiency, low energy consumption, and promising development. The introduction of a third electrode on the basis of a 2D electrode system forms a 3D electrode system, and the introduced third electrode is also known as the particle electrode. Particle electrodes in3D electrode system are generally in the form of particles or crumbs that be filled in between the cathode and anode. The core of the3D electrode system is the particle electrode, so the selection of particle electrode materials is the focus of the research of 3D electrode technology. Carbon-based materials are widely used as particle electrodes in 3D electrode technology because of their advantages of large specific surface area, good adsorption performance, high chemical stability, and low price. In this review, the research progress of carbon-based materials as particle electrodes for degrading organic pollutants in recent years is collected, the principle of3D electrode technology is introduced, along with the classification of particle electrodes and the current research status of carbonbased particle electrodes, and the challenges and future development of carbon-based particle electrodes in wastewater treatment are summarized.
