The massive reductions in anthropogenic emissions resulting from the COVID-19 lockdown provided a unique opportunity to evaluate the effect of mitigation measures aiming to abate air *** Mexico,the total lockdown period took place during the dry-hot season when biomass burning activity is ***,we investigate the role of biomass burning emissions on regional ozone levels in the Megalopolis of Central *** studied period covers the lockdown phases 2 and 3,and the first month of the new *** applied a factor separation technique and process analysis to estimate the pure and synergistic contributions of emission reductions under lockdown and that from biomass burning to daily ozone maximum concentrations in 7 metropolitan areas of different states in the *** results revealed that biomass burning plumes likely masked the effect of massive reductions from mobile emissions,impacted the PBL development during phase 3 and favored transition and mixed nO_(x)-limited and VOC-limited regional *** contributed to increased ozone production in the middle to lower PBL by changing the regional background levels which potentially could bias high ozone production efficiency *** the Megalopolis contribution to economic and societal development at national scale,our study suggests that ozone mitigation measures during the dry-hot season targeting mainly mobile emissions will likely be offset by biomass burning plumes.A regional and synergic policy aiming to control biomass burning would help to reduce the occurrence of high ozone levels in Central Mexico with the co-benefit of tackling short-lived climate pollutants.

Urine-derived stem cells(USCs)are derived from urine and harbor the potential of proliferation and multidirectional ***,USCs could be reprogrammed into pluripotent stem cells[namely urine-derived induced pluripotent stem cells(UiPSCs)]through transcription factors,such as octamer binding transcription factor 4,sex determining region y-box 2,kruppel-like factor 4,myelocytomatosis oncogene,and nanog homeobox and protein lin-28,in which the first four are known as yamanaka *** evidence supports that USCs and UiPSCs possess high potential of neurogenic,myogenic,and osteogenic differentiation,indicating that they may play a crucial role in the treatment of neurological and musculoskeletal ***,we summarized the origin and physiological characteristics of USCs and UiPSCs and their therapeutic application in neurological and musculoskeletal disorders in this review,which not only contributes to deepen our understanding of hallmarks of USCs and UiPSCs but also provides the theoretical basis for the treatment of neurological and musculoskeletal disorders with USCs and UiPSCs.

A spatial template is important to study.nearby supernova remnants(SnRs).For SnR G332.5-5.6,we report a Gaussian disk with a radius of about 1°.06 to be a potential good spatial model in the γ-ray *** this new Gaussian disk,its GeV lightcurve shows a significant variability of about seven *** γ-ray observations of this SnR could be explained well either by a leptonic model or a hadronic model,in which a flat spectrum for the ejected electrons/protons is required.

BACKGROUnD Lumbar radiculopathy spondylosis is a relatively common orthopedic disease with a high incidence *** most commonly occurs in the lumbar 4-5 and lumbar 5-sacral 1 vertebrae,which account for approximately 95%of *** mostly occurs in people aged 30-50 years old and greatly affects their quality of *** To determine the effect of triple-voltage acupuncture combined with helium-neon laser irradiation on the quality of care and improvement of symptoms in patients with lumbar radiculopathy *** In this study,we selected 120 patients with lumbar radiculopathy spondylosis who were treated at our hospital between June 2019 to June *** patients were divided into control and observation groups according to the random number table method,with 60 patients in each *** in the observation group were treated with three-volt moxibustion combined with helium-neon laser irradiation,and those in the control group were treated with lumbar *** 1 month of treatment,the lumbar pain scores,lumbar spine motor functions,clinical treatment effects,and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were *** The results showed that acupuncture combined with laser irradiation significantly improved the patients'clinical symptoms,i.e.,reduced their low back pain,significantly lower numerical rating scale pain scores in the observation group than in the control group,and better lumbar spine motility than in the control group,compared to lumbar *** addition,they were cared *** treatment effectiveness rate of the observation group was 95.5%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(81.67%).Satisfaction with care was higher than 90 points in both groups,but the difference was not statistically *** Our study provides a clinical rationale for the future treatment of patients with lumbar spine ***,further extensive research is needed for validation.

Scientific knowledge about the ancestral genome of core eudicot plant kingdom can potentially have profound impacts on both basic and applied research,including evolution,genetics,genomics,ecology,agriculture,forestry,and global *** investigate which plant conserves best the core eudicots common ancestor genome,we compared Arcto-Tertiary relict nyssaceae and 30 other eudicot plant *** genomes of Davidia involucrata(a known living fossil),Camptotheca acuminata and nyssa sinensis,one per existent genus of nyssaceae,were performed comparative genomic *** found that nyssaceae originated from a single nyssaceae common tetraploidization event(nCT)-autotetraploidization 28-31 Mya after the core eudicot common hexaploidization(ECH).We identified nyssaceae orthologous and paralogous genes,determined its chromosomal evolutionary trajectory,and reconstructed the nyssaceae most recent ancestor *** genome contained the entire seven paleochromosomes and 17 ECH-generated eudicot common ancestor chromosomes and was the slowest in mutation among the analyzed 42 species of 31 plant *** both its high retention of paleochromosomes and its low mutation rate,*** provides the best case in conservation of the core eudicot paleogenome.

We present a numerical approach for modeling unknown dynamical systems using partially observed data,with a focus on biological systems with(relatively)complex dynamical *** an extension of the recently developed deep neural network(Dnn)learning methods,our approach is particularly suitable for practical situations when(i)measurement data are available for only a subset of the state variables,and(ii)the system parameters cannot be observed or measured at *** demonstrate that,with a properly designed Dnn structure with memory terms,effective Dnn models can be learned from such partially observed data containing hidden *** learned Dnn model serves as an accurate predictive tool for system *** a few representative biological problems,we demonstrate that such Dnn models can capture qualitative dynamical behavior changes in the system,such as bifurcations,even when the parameters controlling such behavior changes are completely unknown throughout not only the model learning process but also the system prediction *** learned Dnn model effectively creates a“closed”model involving only the observables when such a closed-form model does not exist mathematically.
