Two phenomena in the history of China's economic growth during the last four decades are the increase in the share of offfarm employment and the progress in poverty alleviation in rural *** both of them have been well documented in the literature,less is known about the linkage between the *** better understand the role that off-farm employment has played in poverty alleviation in rural China is critically important not only for China but also for those countries that are trying to reduce ***,we examine the impact of off-farm employment on poverty alleviation in rural *** the data from two nationally representative household panel surveys(China National Rural Survey and China Rural Development Survey),this paper provides supporting evidence that off-farm employment contributes to poverty alleviation in rural ***,if household participation in off-farm employment increases by 10 percentage points,the likelihood for a nonpoor household to fall into poverty will decrease by 0.88 percentage point whereas the likelihood for a poor household to climb out of poverty will increase by 3.5 percentage *** a word,off-employment can not only prevent rural residents to fall into poverty but also help those already in poverty climb out of it.

Climate change and glacier area variations in China during the past half century

This paper presents a mallat algorithm of wavelet for identifying time-varying parameter method. Expand the time-varying parameters used mallat algorithm, then the identification of the time-varying parameters is converted to the problem of identifying invariant coefficients. Select the filter banks which make the most of the energy of time-varying parameters concentrated in low-resolution part, then select multi resolution depths, on which gives the wavelet expansions of time-varying parameters. Finally invariant coefficients are identified through least-square method, then reconstruct them and get the time-varying parameters we needed. Simulation results show the wavelet analysis method is accurate and timely tracking of mutations in the signal, showing the superiority of the algorithm.

Glacier variations in the Tibetan Plateau and surrounding mountain ranges in China affect the livelihood of over one billion people who depend on water from the Yellow, Yangtze, Brahmaputra, Ganges and Indus rivers originating in these areas. Based on the results of the present study and published literature, we found that the glaciers shrank ：5.7% in area from 1963 to 20：0 with an annual area change of -0.33%. The shrinkage generally decreased from peripheral mountain ranges to the interior of Tibet. The linear trends of annual air temperature and precipitation at 147 stations were 0.36℃（10a）^-1 and 8.96 mm （10a）^-1 respectively from 1961 to 2010. The shrinkage of glaciers was well correlated with the rising temperature and the spatial patterns of the shrinkage were influenced by other factors superimposed on the rising temperature such as glacier size, type, elevation, debris cover and precipitation.

Effect of backing films on the transdermal delivery of cyclobenzaprine patch

The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of backing films on transdermal delivery of cyclobenzaprine patch. Different backing films were chosen to prepare the cyclobenzaprine transdermal patch. The cumulative amount of cyclobenzaprine released from different patches was evaluated in vitro. To investigate the interaction between cyclobenzaprine and backing films, the partitioning experiments and attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared(ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy were performed. The cumulative amount of cyclobenzaprine released from the patch with Cotran? 9700 as backing film was less than that of other patches with different backing films. Furthermore, the cumulative amount of cyclobenzaprine released from the patch with Cotran? 9700 as backing film decreased significantly after 7 d storage at room condition. The partitioning experiments indicated a strong adsorption of cyclobenzaprine onto the Cotran? 9700, which could explain the decrease of cumulative amount of cyclobenzaprine released from the patch with Cotran? 9700 as backing film. According to the ATR-FTIR results, there was no interaction between Cotran? 9700 and cyclobenzaprine. The effect of backing films on the release behavior of cyclobenzaprine transdermal patch was attributed to the adsorption of cyclobenzaprine onto the Cotran? 9700.

Oncogenic Role of Skp2 and p27^(Kip1) in Intraductal Proliferative Lesions of the Breast

Objective To investigate whether the connection of p27 Kip1 to S-phase kinase-associated protein 2 (Skp2) plays an oncogenic role in intraductal proliferative lesions of the breast. Methods Here we investigated the mechanism involved in association of Skp2's degradation of p27 Kip1 with the breast carcinogenesis by immunohistochemical method through detection of Skp2 and p27 Kip1 protein levels in 120 paraffin-embedded tissues of intraductal proliferative lesions including usual ductal hyperplasia (UDH, n=30), atypical ductal hyperplasia (n=30), flat epithelial atypia (FEA, n=30), and ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS, n=30). Moreover, the expression status of Skp2 and p27 Kip1 in 30 cases of the normal breast paraffin-embedded tissues were explored. Results The DCIS group was with the highest Skp2 level and the lowest p27 Kip1 level, and the UDH group was with the lowest Skp2 level and the highest p27 Kip1 level. Both Skp2 and p27 Kip1 levels in the DCIS group were significantly different from those in the UDH group (all P<0.01). The levels of Skp2 and p27 Kip1 in the FEA group were significantly different from both the DCIS and UDH groups (all P<0.05). p27 Kip1 was negatively correlated with Skp2 in both the UDH group (r=-0.629, P=0.026) and DCIS group (r=-0.893, P=0.000). Conclusion Overexpression of Skp2 might be the mechanism underlying p27 Kip1 over degradation.

As the agricultural internet of things(IoT)technology has evolved,smart agricultural robots needs to have both flexibility and adaptability when moving in complex field *** this paper,we propose the concept of a vision-based navigation system for the agricultural IoT and a binocular vision navigation algorithm for smart agricultural robots,which can fuse the edge contour and the height information of rows of crop in images to extract the navigation ***,the speeded-up robust feature(SURF)extracting and matching algorithm is used to obtain featuring point pairs from the green crop row images observed by the binocular parallel vision *** the confidence density image is constructed by integrating the enhanced elevation image and the corresponding binarized crop row image,where the edge contour and the height information of crop row are fused to extract the navigation parameters(θ,d)based on the model of a smart agricultural ***,the five navigation network instruction sets are designed based on the navigation angleθand the lateral distance d,which represent the basic movements for a certain type of smart agricultural robot working in a *** experimental results in the laboratory show that the algorithm proposed in this study is effective with small turning errors and low standard deviations,and can provide a valuable reference for the further practical application of binocular vision navigation systems in smart agricultural robots in the agricultural IoT system.

Objective:To analyze the dynamic expression of Wnt family member 5A(Wingless-type MMTV integration Wnt site family,member 5a)in murine hair cycle and its inhibitory effects on follicle in ***:Situ hybridization in full-thickness skin was used to observe the change of mouse protein expression in different growth stages,and Ad-Wnt5a was injected after defeathering to observe the hair follicle growth in ***:The Wnt5a mRNA was expressed at birth,and was firstly increased then decreased along with the progress of the hair *** reached the peak in advanced stage of growth cycle(P<0.05).Rhoa andβ-catenin expression levels were significantly decreased in three ***2 expression was significantly up-regulated,and the expression level of Wnt5a,Shh and Frizzled2 was increased,but less significantly than group ***:The expression of Wnt5a mRNA is consistent with change of murine follicle cycle,and has obvious inhibitory effects on the growth of hair follicle in vivo,indicating that it is antagonistic to Wnts pathway and interferes the growth of follicle together.

The stability and collective excitation of Bose-Einstein condensates with both two- and three-body interactions in a two-dimensional anhaxmonic trap （i.e., harmonic plus quartic trap） are investigated. By using the variational method, the influence of the three-body interaction and the anharmonicity on the stability axe discussed in detail. It is found that the anhaxmonicity of the trap and the three-body interaction have significant effect on the stability and collective excitations of the system.
