Growth of gallium nitride(GaN)inverted pyramids on c-plane sapphire substrates is benefit for fabricating novel devices as it forms the semipolar *** this work,GaN inverted pyramids are directly grown on c-plane patterned sapphire substrates(PSS)by metal organic vapor phase epitaxy(MOVPE).The influences of growth conditions on the surface morphol-ogy are experimentally studied and explained by Wulff *** competition of growth rate among{0001},{1011},and{1122}facets results in the various surface morphologies of GaN.A higher growth temperature of 985 ℃ and a lowerⅤ/Ⅲratio of 25 can expand the area of{}facets in GaN inverted *** the other hand,GaN inverted pyramids with almost pure{}facets are obtained by using a lower growth temperature of 930℃,a higherⅤ/Ⅲratio of 100,and PSS with pattern arrangement perpendicular to the substrate primary flat.

As one of the common malignancies that threaten human life,bladder cancer occurs frequently with a high mortality rate in the world,due to its invasion,recurrence and drug *** products from marine microorganisms are becoming the hotspots in discovery of new candidate drug entities,especially in the area of *** A(BFA)is a natural Arf-GEFs inhibitor,but due to the low aqueous solubility,strong toxicity,and poor bioavailability,it is urgent to conduct structural optimization ***,a new BFA pyridine acrylate derivative CHNQD-012.1 with improved solubility was prepared and found to exert moderate to strong antiproliferative activity on a variety of human cancer cell *** was noteworthy that CHNQD-012.1 was most sensitive to two bladder cancer cell lines T2. and J82.IC50=0.079 and 0.081μmol/L)with high selectivity index(SI=14.68 and 14.32.,suggesting a superior safety to *** vivo studies revealed that CHNQD-012.1 remarkably suppressed tumor growth in a T2. nude mice xenograft model(TGI=52.63%)and prolonged the survival time(ILS=68.16%)in an MB49 allogeneic mouse model via inducing infiltration of cytotoxic T *** mechanism exploration indicated that CHNQD-012.1 regulated both EGFR/PI3K/AKT and EGFR/erK pathways and mediated the chemotactic effect of chemokines on immune effector ***,CHNQD-012.1 may serve as a potential therapeutic agent for bladder cancer through multiple mechanisms.

Mesenteric adipose tissue B lymphocytes promote intestinal injury in severe acute pancreatitis by mediating enteric pyroptosis

MRI-guided photothermal/photodynamic immune activation combined with PD-1 inhibitor for the multimodal combination therapy of melanoma and metastases

Non-invasive image-guided precise photothermal/photodynamic therapy(PTT/PDT)has been proven to be an effective local treatment modality but incompetent against ***,the combination of local PTT/PDT and systemic immunotherapy would be a promising strategy for tumor ***,a magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)-visualized PTT/PDT agent(SIDP NMs)was constructed,and the efficacy of its multimodal combination with a programmed cell death 1(PD-1)inhibitor in the treatment of melanoma and metastases was *** to the hydrophobic encapsulation of indocyanine green within the micellar core,SIDP NMs exhibited excellent photothermal/photodynamic properties and stability under an 808 nm near-infrared *** vitro cell experiments showed that SIDP NMs had a good killing *** incubating with B16-F10 cells for 2. h and irradiating with an 808-nm laser for 10 min,cell viability decreased *** resonance imaging experiments in melanoma-bearing mice have shown that the dynamic distribution of SIDP NMs in tumor tissue could be monitored by T2.I and T2.MAP non-invasively due to the presence of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanocrystal in SIDP *** the 808 nm laser was irradiated at the maximum focusing time point shown by MRI,the temperature of the tumor area rapidly increased from 32.to 60.7℃in 5 *** mouse melanoma ablation and distant tumor immunotherapy studies,SIDP NMs provided excellent MRI-guided PTT/PDT results and,when combined with PD-1 inhibitor,have great potential to cure primary tumors and eradicate metastases.

Projected changes in Köppen-Trewartha climate zones under 1.5-4℃global warming targets over mid-high latitudes of Northern Asia using an ensemble of RegCM4 simulations

Mid-high latitude Northern Asia is one of the most vulnerable and sensitive areas to global warming,but relatively less studied *** used an ensemble of a regional climate model(RegCM4)projections to assess future changes in surface air temperature,precipitation and Köppen-Trewartha(K-T)climate types in Northern Asia under the 1.5-4℃global warming ***4 is driven by five CMIP5 global models over an East Asia domain at a grid spacing of 2. *** of the present day(1986-2.05)simulations shows that the ensembles of RegCM4(ensR)and driving GCMs(ensG)reproduce the major characters of the observed temperature,precipitation and K-T climate zones reasonably *** and more realistic spatial detail is found in RegCM4 compared to the driving GCMs.A general warming and overall increases in precipitation are projected over the region,with these changes being more pronounced at higher warming *** projected warming by ensR shows different spatial patterns,and is in general lower,compared to ensG in most months of the year,while the percentage increases of precipitation are maximum during the cold *** future changes in K-T climate zones are characterized by a substantial expansion of Dc(temperature oceanic)and retreat of Ec(sub-arctic continental)over the region,reaching∼2.%under the 4℃warming *** most notable change in climate types in ensR is found over Japan(∼60%),followed by Southern Siberia,Mongolia,and the Korean Peninsula(∼40%).The largest change in the K-T climate types is found when increasing from 2.to 3℃.The results will help to better assess the impacts of climate change and in implementation of appropriate adaptation measures over the region.

Dimension and measure theoretic entropy of a subshift in symbolic space

1 Definitions and resultsWITH the development of the theory of dynamical systems and fractal geometry, one provedthat symbolic dynamics is a powerful tool to study chaos and fractals. It is useful to study thefractal characteristics of symbolic dynamics. In the present note we shall point out the relationbetween the dimension and measure theoretic entropy of any subshift in symbolic space. Weprove here that the Bowen’s formula for Hausdorff dimension holds without Markov struc-ture. A variational principle for dimension is obtained.
