The highly reversible insertion/extraction of large-radius K^+into electrode materials remains a tough goal,especially for con version-type ***,we design a current collector-integrated electrode(N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu) as an advanced anode for potassium-ion battery(PIBs).The conductive CoSe/CoSe_(2) heterojunction with rich Se vacancy defects,conductive sp^2 N-doped carbon layer,and the elastic copper foil matrix can greatly accelerate the electron transfer and enhance the structural ***,the well-designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu current collector-integrated electrode displays enhanced potassium storage performance with regard to a high capacity(325.1 mAh·g^(-1) at 0.1 A·g^(-1) after 200cycles),an exceptional rate capability(223.5 mAh·g^(-1) at2000 mA·g^(-1)),and an extraordinary long-term cycle stability(a capacity fading of only 0.019% per cycle over1200 cycles at 2000 mA·g^(-1)).Impressively,ex situ scanning electron microscopy(SEM) characterizations prove that the elastic structure of copper foil is merged into the cleverly designed N-CoSe/CoSe_(2)-C@Cu heterostructure,which buffers the deformation of structure and volume and greatly promotes the cycle life during the potassium/depotassium process.

The common ways to activate a chemical reaction are by heat,electric current,or ***,mechanochemistry,where the chemical reaction is activated by applied mechanical force,is less common and only poorly understood at the atomic *** we report a tip-induced activation of chemical reaction of carbon monoxide to dioxide on oxidized rutile TiO_(2)(110)*** activation is studied by atomic force microscopy,Kelvin probe force microscopy under ultrahigh-vacuum and liquid nitrogen temperature conditions,and density functional theory(DFT)*** reaction is inferred from hysteretic behavior of frequency shift signal further supported by vector force mapping of vertical and lateral forces needed to trigger the chemical reaction with torque motion of carbon monoxide towards an oxygen *** reaction is found to proceed stochastically at very small tip-sample ***,the local contact potential difference reveals the atomic-scale charge redistribution in the reactants required to unlock the *** results open up new insights into the mechanochemistry on metal oxide surfaces at the atomic scale.

BACKGROUND High-grade B-cell lymphoma(HGBL)is an unusual malignancy that includes myelocytomatosis viral oncogene(MYC),B-cell lymphoma-2(BCL-2),and/or BCL-6 rearrangements,termed double-hit or triple-hit lymphomas,and HGBL-not otherwise specific(HGBL-NOS),which are morphologically characteristic of HGBL but lack MYC,BCL-2,or BCL-6 *** is partially transformed by follicular lymphoma and other indolent lymphoma,with few cases of marginal zone lymphoma(MZL)*** often has a poor prognosis and intensive therapy is currently mainly advocated,but there is no good treatment for these patients who cannot tolerate *** SUMMARY We reported a case of MZL transformed into HGBL-NOS with TP53 mutation and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase *** analysis revealed the gene expression profile was identical in the pre-and post-transformed tissues,suggesting that the two diseases are homologous,not secondary *** chemotherapy was ineffective and the side effect was severe,so we tried combination therapy including venetoclax and *** patient tolerated treatment well,and reached partial *** patient had recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma and died of multifunctional organ *** survived for 12 months after *** Venetoclax combined with obinutuzumab might improve the survival in some HGBL patients,who are unsuitable for chemotherapy.

BACKGROUND Extracorporeal shock wave therapy(ESWT)is increasingly being recognized as an advantageous alternative for treating non-union due to its efficacy and minimal associated ***-union following Bernese periacetabular osteotomy(PAO)is particularly challenging,with a reported 55%delayed union and 8%***,we highlight a unique case of ischial non-union post-PAO treated successfully with a structured ESWT *** SUMMARY A 50-year-old patient,diagnosed with left ischial non-union following the PAO,underwent six cycles of ESWT treatment across ten *** cycle,spaced four weeks apart,consisted of five consecutive ESWT sessions without *** X-ray follow-ups showed progressive disappearance of the fracture line and fracture *** patient ultimately achieved a satisfactory asymptomatic recovery and bone *** The results from this case suggest that this ESWT regimen can be a promising non-invasive treatment strategy for non-union following PAO.

Ferricyanide-promoted oxidative activation of Nacylatedα-aminothioacids for amide bond formation withα-aminonitriles was recently shown to be a plausible pathway for prebiotic peptide *** we describe the finding that by adding sodium azide and thiols,ferricyanide oxidation can elicit highly efficient and clean conversion of fully unprotected peptide or protein thioacids in neutral aqueous media to the corresponding *** transformation enables the development of ferricyanide-promoted thioacid-based native chemical ligation(NCL)as a new redox-based method for chemical protein synthesis,which does not need to change pH and is therefore operationally easy for ligation at small *** effectiveness of the ferricyanide-promoted thioacid-based NCL was illustrated by synthesis of an ISG15-modified MDA5 segment under nondenaturing conditions and synthesis of an acetylated ubiquitin(Ub)-modified histone H2A through an N-to-C sequential *** work broadens the concept of on-demand oxidative activation strategy for protein ligation and provides a new useful supplement to the repertoire of methods for chemical protein synthesis,particularly for studies on proteins carrying Ub family modifications.
