To the Editor:Metabolic syndrome(MetS)is defined as a set of metabolic disorders including abdominal obesity,hyperglycemia,hypertension,and dyslipidemia.[1]As thyroid hormones are essential for cellular energy homeostasis and regulation,the levels of serum thyroid hormones are considered to be associated with various metabolic parameters.Over the past decade,the association between thyroid hormones and MetS has been extensively studied in euthyroid subjects,leading to inconsistent results.Some studies suggested that a high level of thyrotropin(TSH)contributed to the increased incidence of MetS or unfavorable metabolic parameters,whereas other studies found no such correlation.Moreover,some researches have shown that free thyroxin(FT4)levels were inversely proportional to various unfavorable metabolic parameters or MetS,while other studies suggested that FT4 levels have no such association or even a positive association with some unfavorable metabolic components after adjustment.These conflicting results may result from different designs,settings,race,exclusion criteria,adjustments,statistical analyses,and definitions of MetS and population iodine intake.Based on these,our study aimed to evaluate the association and causal relationship between thyroid hormones and MetS in people with normal thyroid function through standard epidemiological and Mendelian randomization analysis.

Humans have a more than sixty-year history of observing Earth from space beginning after the launch of the first meteor-ological satellite,Television Infrared Observation Satellite(TIROS),in 1960.Satellite observations have transformed the way scientists observe and study Earth(Ackerman et al.,2019).With the progress of satellite data assimilation in the 1990s,modern Numerical Weather Prediction(NWP)became deeply tied to global satellite observations(Eyre et al.,1993).Scient-ists expect that meteorological satellites will play a more important role in future Earth Science studies.

海南长臂猿生境的声景观与声学活动评估

海南霸王岭自然保护区是中国唯一保护海南长臂猿及其生存环境的国家级自然保护区,具有海南长臂猿(Nomascus hainanus)声音、鸟类声音等丰富的声景资源。探究海南长臂猿生境内的声景构成及声学活动,旨在为该区域的生态保护提供技术支撑。利用被动声学监测技术采集该保护区的声音数据,通过分析不同频率范围内的声景功率分布,描述了保护区声景观的特征与日变化;基于广泛使用的4个声学指数ACI(acoustic complex index)、ADI(acoustic diversity index)、BI(bioacoustic index)、NDSI(normalized difference soundscape index)来评估海南长臂猿声音,并利用随机森林算法,以4个声学指数为预测变量,有无海南长臂猿声音为响应变量,对声音数据进行分类。结果表明:(1)不同频率范围内的声景功率反映了研究区不同的声学群落信息,具有显著的时间变化特征,表明了鸟类、海南长臂猿等动物的黎明和黄昏合唱活动,其中,1~2 kHz符合海南长臂猿的黎明合唱,2~5 kHz符合鸟类等动物的生活规律;(2)有海南长臂猿与无长臂猿鸣叫时声学指数的变化趋势存在明显差异,其中,NDSI的变化差异最大;(3)4个声学指数对于海南长臂猿声音数据的分类结果较好,交叉验证后的AUC值为0.9764。本研究基于声景观有效地获取了试验区动物的活动特征,并证明了利用声学指数评估海南长臂猿鸣叫的可行性,为海南霸王岭地区及海南长臂猿的声学监测奠定基础。

Triple the steady-state reaction rate by decorating the In2O3 surface with SiOx for CO2 hydrogenation

Indium oxide（In2O3）,as a promising candidate for CO2hydrogenation to C1products,often suffers from sintering and activity decline,closely related to the undesirable structural evolution under reaction conditions.Based on the comprehension of the dynamic evolution,this study presents an efficient strategy to alleviate the agglomeration of In2O3nanoparticles by the surface decoration with highly dispersed silica species（SiOx）.Various structural characterizations combined with density functional theory calculations demonstrated that the sintering resulted from the over-reduction,while the enhanced stability originated from the anchoring effect of highly stable In-OSi bonds,which hinders the substantial formation of metallic In（In0） and the subsequent agglomeration.0.6Si/In2O3exhibited CO2conversion rate of10.0 mmol g-1h-1at steady state vs.3.5 mmol g-1h-1on In2O3in CO2hydrogenation.Enhanced steady-state activity was also achieved on Pd-modified catalysts.Compared to the traditional Pd/In2O3catalyst,the methanol production rate of Pd catalyst supported on 0.6Si/In2O3was enhanced by 23%,showing the potential of In2O3modified by SiOxin serving as a platform material.This work provides a promising method to design new In2O3-based catalysts with improved activity and stability in CO2hydrogenation.

H9N2 virus has been widely distributed in wild birds and poultry around the world since its first emergence in the United States of America in 1966(Gu et al.2017;Carnaccini and Perez 2020).The virus appeared in chickens in China in the early 1990s,and over the last two decades has gradually become the dominant epidemic subtype(Sun and Liu 2015;Bi et al.2020).Although H9N2 virus infection alone cannot cause severe disease or death in poultry,H9N2 virus-infected birds experience a degree of egg production drop and can be easily infected by other pathogens,thus causing economic losses for poultry industry.

四川某铁精矿中TFe品位为64.56%,杂质成分SiO_(2)、Al_(2)O_(3)含量分别为5.50%和2.01%。物质组分研究表明,铁矿物主要以磁性铁形式存在,采用“阶段磨矿(再磨过程添加分散剂H01)-阶段磁选”工艺对该铁精矿进行提质降杂实验,实验可获得TFe品位为72.11%的超纯铁精矿产品,精矿中杂质成分SiO_(2)含量为0.20%,Al_(2)O_(3)的含量为0.16%,酸不溶物的含量为0.28%,TFe的回收率为92.72%。

以四川某低品位难选磷矿石为研究对象,采用化学分析、显微鉴定分析、X射线衍射分析、红外吸收光谱分析等手段进行了详细工艺矿物学研究。矿石矿物主要由胶态磷灰石、细晶白云石和石英三大部份组成,另含有少量黄铁矿、褐铁矿、水云母、炭质等。试样中P_(2)O_(5)、MgO、SiO_(2)含量分别为17.54%、6.83%、18.36%,属于高镁中硅型低品位沉积磷块岩。研究结果表明,该磷矿石采用单一反浮选工艺无法获得合格的磷精矿产品,可以采用正-反浮选工艺或者X射线分选技术获得高品质磷精矿产品。

为了能够让多个自动导引车(AGV)在复杂环境中实现高效和安全的路径规划,提出一种基于改进A^(*)算法和时间窗检测法相结合的方法。采用改进A^(*)算法为每个AGV生成一条初始路径,再利用时间窗检测法对每个AGV进行冲突检测和解决,得到一组可行且无冲突的路径。通过python进行仿真试验,验证了所提方法的有效性,并与其他方法进行对比分析,结果表明,所提方法在解决多AGV协同路径规划问题上有一定优越性,能够让多个AGV更好地协同工作,实现高效和安全的路径规划。
