Kinked rebar is a special type of steel material,which is installed in beam column nodes and frame *** effectively enhances the blast resilience,seismic collapse resistance,and progressive collapse resistance of reinforced concrete(RC)structures without imposing substantial cost burdens,thereby emerging as a focal point of recent research *** the basis of explaining the working principle of kinked rebars,this paper reviews the research status of kinked rebars at home and abroad from three core domains:the tensile mechanical properties of kinked rebars,beam column nodes with kinked rebars,and concrete frame structures with kinked *** analysis underscores that the straightening process of kinked rebars does not compromise their ultimate strength but significantly bolsters structural ductility and enhances energy dissipation *** beam-column joints,the incorporation of kinked rebars facilitates the seamless transfer of plastic hinges,adhering to the design principle of“strong columns and weak beams.”In addition,kinked rebars can greatly improve the resistance of the beam;The seismic resistance,internal explosion resistance,and progressive collapse resistance of reinforced concrete frame structures with kinked rebar have significantly *** its primary application,the principle of kinked rebar was extended to other applications of kinked materials such as corrugated steel plates and origami structures,and the stress characteristics of related components and structures were ***,this paper also proposes the application of kinked rebars in bridge engineering,aiming to address the challenges of localized damage concentration and excessive residual displacement in RC bridge *** introduction of kinked rebars in piers is envisioned to mitigate these issues,with the paper outlining its advantages and feasibility,thereby offering valuable insights for future research on kinked reinforcement and seismic design strat

Numerical simulation of phosphorus release from resuspended sediment

风力发电作为可再生能源的重要组成部分,在电力系统规划和日常运行中扮演着重要的角色,准确的短期风电功率预测对于电网的稳定运行和优化调度具有重要意义。为提高短期风电功率预测的准确性,提出一种基于自适应噪声完备集合经验模态分解和时间卷积网络的短期风电功率预测方法。首先利用自适应噪声完备集合经验模态分解对初始风电功率数据进行分解,得到多个相对稳定的子数据序列;然后将其分别作为时间卷积网络的输入,利用时间卷积网络模型进行特征提取和功率预测;最后将所有预测值进行汇总,得到最终的功率预测值。使用宁夏某地区真实风电功率数据进行验证,并与传统预测模型比较,结果表明所提方法具有较高的预测精度,可为风电功率短期预测等相关工作提供相关参考。

Structural basis for the recognition of RNA polymerase II C-terminal domain by CREPT and p15RS

CREPT and p15RS are two recently identified homologous proteins that regulate cell proliferation in an opposite way and are closely related to human cancer development. Both CREPT and pl5RS consist of an N-terminal RPR domain and a C-terminal domain with high sequence homology. The transcription enhancement by CREPT is attributed to its interaction with RNA polymerase II （Pol II）. Here we provide biochemical and structural evidence to support and extend this molecular mechanism. Through fluorescence polarization analysis, we show that the RPR domains of CREPT and pl5RS （CREPT-RPR and pI5RS-RPR） bind to different Pol II C-terminal domain （CTD） phosphoisoforms with similar affinity and specificity. We also determined the crystal structure of pl5RS-RPR. Sequence and structural comparisons with RPR domain of Rttl03, a homolog of CREPT and p l5RS in yeast, reveal structural basis for the similar binding profile of CREPT-RPR and p 15RS-RPR with Pol II CTD. We also determined the crystal structure of the C-terminal domain of CREPT （CREPT-CTD）, which is a long rod-like dimer and each monomer adopts a coiled-coil structure. We propose that dimerization through the C-terminal domain enhances the binding strength between CREPT or pl5RS with Pol II by increasing binding avidity. Our results collectively reveal the respective roles of N-terminal RPR domain and C-terminal domain of CREPT and pl5RS in recognizing RNA Pol II.

CEBIT screening for inhibitors of the interaction between SARS-CoV-2 spike and ACE2

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-Cov-2)infection,causing CovID-19,is the most challenging pandemic of the modern *** has resulted in over 5 million deaths *** quickly explore therapeutics for COVID-19,we utilized a previously-established system,namely *** performed a highthroughput screening of FDA-approved drugs to inhibit the interaction between the receptor-binding domain(RBD)of SARS-CoV-2 spike protein and its obligate receptor *** interaction is essential for viral entry and therefore represents a promising therapeutic *** on the recruitment of interacting molecules into phase-separated condensates as a readout,we identified six positive candidates from a library of 2572 compounds,most of which have been reported to inhibit the entry of SARs-Cov-2 into host *** surface plasmon resonance(SPR)and molecular docking analyses revealed the possible mechanisms via which these compounds interfere with the interaction between RBD and ***,our results indicate that CEBIT is highly versatile for identifying drugs against SARS-Cov-2 entry,and targeting Cov-2 entry by small molecule drugs is a viable therapeutic option to treat CovID-19 in addition to commonly used monoclonal antibodies.
