BACKGROUND Submucosal hematoma(SH)is one of the rare causes of upper gastrointestinal *** a rare and critical disease in clinical practice,it should be paid more attention to by clinicians to avoid missed diagnosis and *** of the esophageal submucosal hematomas have clear causes,including retrosternal pain,dysphagia,***,we report a rare case of SH extending from the hypopharynx to the lower esophagus caused by oral administration of hirudin and panax notoginseng powder,with atypical clinical *** a long submucosal hematoma has rarely been *** SUMMARY The patient was a 60-year-old male with a history of gastritis,hypertension,coronary heart disease,and coronary stent *** patient developed chest tiredness and heartburn after taking 10 capsules of a homemade mixture of hirudin and notoginseng powder in the previous 2 *** did not have hematemesis or black *** and chest computed tomography confirmed the diagnosis of SH,which ranged from the pharynx to the lower esophagus and was 35-40 cm in *** the diagnosis was confirmed,we performed active conservative treatment on the patient,and the patient recovered well and remained asymptomatic during the 26-mo *** SH is rare,and cases with atypical clinical symptoms may lead to misdiagnosis and missed *** of this disease can lead to serious clinical *** therapy is effective and the prognosis is good.

Photovoltaic (PV) modules, as essential components of solar power generation systems, significantly influence unitpower generation *** service life of these modules directly affects these costs. Over time, the performanceof PV modules gradually declines due to internal degradation and external environmental *** cumulativedegradation impacts the overall reliability of photovoltaic power generation. This study addresses the complexdegradation process of PV modules by developing a two-stage Wiener process model. This approach accountsfor the distinct phases of degradation resulting from module aging and environmental influences. A powerdegradation model based on the two-stage Wiener process is constructed to describe individual differences inmodule degradation processes. To estimate the model parameters, a combination of the Expectation-Maximization(EM) algorithm and the Bayesian method is employed. Furthermore, the Schwarz Information Criterion (SIC) isutilized to identify critical change points in PV module degradation trajectories. To validate the universality andeffectiveness of the proposed method, a comparative analysis is conducted against other established life predictiontechniques for PV modules.

In this paper, we study a portfolio selection problem of an investor with a retirement option, who has possibility to buy life insurance and does not tolerate any decline in consumption. The agent's optimization problem can be viewed as a mixed singular control and optimal stopping problem with time-inhomogeneous utility functions. The closed-form optimal solution is not available in general. We use the dual control method to convert the original problem into two classes of optimal stopping problems in finite and infinite *** show that the optimal consumption strategy and the best retirement time depend on the free-boundary functions which satisfy Fredholm and Volterra integral equations. We derive the closed-form formulas for these two free boundaries for some special cases and develop numerical methods to solve the integral equations of the free boundaries for general cases.

AIM:To investigate the correlation between human epidermal growth factor receptor(HER-2) protein expression and colorectal cancer(CRC) using a casecontrol study and ***:Tumor tissue specimens from 162 CRC patients were selected for the case *** cases were randomly selected,and normal CRC tissue at least 10 cm away from the tumor margins of these cases was used to generate the control *** expression of the HER-2 protein in the 162 CRC tissue samples and the 50 adjacent normal mucosa tissue samples was detected via *** experimental data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0software,and R software version 3.1.0 was utilized for further ***:The expression of HER-2 protein in the 162 CRC tissue samples was significantly higher than in the normal tissue *** data showed that the expression of HER-2 in CRC was related to the Dukes' stage,the depth of invasion and lymph node *** HER-2-positive patients had lower 3-and 5-year OS rates than the HER-2-negative patients,but there was no significant ***,there was a statistically significant difference in the 3- and5-year disease-free survival(DFS) rates of HER-2-positive and HER-2-negative *** results of the meta-analysis showed that the expression of HER-2in CRC patients was statistically significantly increased over that of healthy *** 3-year DFS rate in HER-2-positive patients was markedly lower than that in HER-2-negative ***:Down-regulation of HER-2 expression might be a dependable strategy for CRC therapy.

To explain the influence mechanism of MgO on the consolidation and reduction characteristics of roasted iron pellets,the properties and structure of pellets were investigated from *** indicated that the MgO addition decreased the reduction swelling index(RSI)and reduction degree of pellets in both CO and H_(2)*** the stepwise reduction process of Fe2O3→Fe3O4→FeO,the reduction behaviour of pellets in CO and H_(2)was similar,while the reduction rate of pellets in H_(2)atmosphere was almost twice as high as that in CO *** the stepwise reduction process of FeO→Fe,the RSI of pellets showed a logarithmic increase in CO atmosphere and a linear decrease in H_(2)*** investigated by first-principles calculations,C and Fe mainly formed chemical bonds,and the CO reduction process released energy,promoting the formation of iron ***,H and Fe produced weak physical adsorption,and the H_(2)reduction process was endothermic,inhibiting the generation of iron *** Mg2+doping in FexO,the nucleation region of iron whiskers expanded in CO reduction process,and the morphology of iron whiskers transformed from“slender”to“stocky,”reducing RSI of the pellets.

Seawater electrolysis is a promising approach for sustainable energy without relying on precious ***,the large-scale seawater electrolysis is hindered by low catalytic efficiency and severe anode corrosion caused by the harmful *** contrast to the oxygen evolution reaction (OER)and chlorin ion oxidation reaction (ClOR),glycerol oxidation reaction (GOR) is more thermodynamically and kinetically favorable ***,a Ru doping cobalt phosphide (Ru-CoP_(2)) is proposed as a robust bifunctional electrocatalyst for seawater electrolysis and GOR,for the concurrent productions of hydrogen and value-added *** in situ and ex situ characterization analyses demonstrated that Ru doping featured in the dynamic reconstruction process from Ru-CoP_(2)to Ru-CoOOH,accounting for the superior GOR *** coupling GOR with hydrogen evolution was realized by employing Ru-CoP_(2)as both anode and cathode,requiring only a low voltage of 1.43 V at 100 mA cm^(-2),which was 250 m V lower than that in alkaline *** work guides the design of bifunctional electrocatalysts for energy-efficient seawater electrolysis coupled with biomass resource upcycling.

Research on the properties of neutron stars with dark energy is a particularly interesting yet unresolved problem in *** analyze the influence of dark energy on the equation of state,the maximum mass,the surface gravitational redshift and the Keplerian frequency for the traditional neutron star and the hyperon star matter within the relativistic mean field theory,using the GM1 and TM1 parameter sets by considering the two flavor symmetries of SU(6)and SU(3)combined with the observations of PSR J1614-2230,PSR J0348+0432,PSR J0030+0451,RX J0720.4-3125,and 1E *** is found that the existence of dark energy leads to the softened equations of the state of the traditional neutron star and the hyperon *** radius of a fixed-mass traditional neutron star(or hyperon star)with dark energy becomes smaller,which leads to increased *** existence of dark energy can also enhance the surface gravitational redshift and the Keplerian frequency of traditional neutron stars and hyperon *** growth of the Keplerian frequency may cause the spin rate to speed up,which may provide a possible way to understand and explain the pulsar glitch ***,we infer that the mass and the surface gravitational redshift of PSR J1748-2446ad without dark energy for the GM1(TM1)parameter set are 1.141 M_(☉)(1.309 M_(☉))and 0.095(0.105),*** corresponding values for the GM1(TM1)parameter set are 0.901 M_(☉)(1.072M_(☉))and 0.079(0.091)if PSR J1748-2446ad contains dark energy withα=*** J1748-2446ad may be a low-mass pulsar with a lower surface gravitational redshift under our selected models.

Wing dimorphism is regarded as an important phenotypic plasticity involved in the migration and reproduction of ***,the signal transduction and regulatory mechanism of wing dimorphism in aphids are still ***,the optimal environmental conditions were first explored for inducing winged offspring of green peach aphid,and the short photoperiod was the most important environmental cue to regulate wing *** to 16 L:8 D photoperiod,the proportion of winged offspring increased to 90%under 8 L:16 D ***,5 differentially expressed microRNAs(miRNAs)in aphids treated with long and short photoperiods were identified using small RNA sequencing,and a novel miR-3040 was identified as a vital miRNA involved in photoperiod-mediated wing *** specifically,the inhibition of miR-3040 expression could reduce the proportion of winged offspring induced by short photoperiod,whereas its activation increased the proportion of winged offspring under long ***,the expression level of miR-3040 in winged aphids was about 2.5 times that of wingless aphids,and the activation or inhibition of miR-3040 expression could cause wing deformity,revealing the dual-role regulator of miR-3040 in wing dimorphism and wing *** summary,the current study identified the key environmental cue for wing dimorphism in green peach aphid,and the first to demonstrate the dual-role regulator of miR-3040 in photoperiod-mediated wing dimorphism and wing development.
