Cyathulae Radix,a traditional Chinese medicine and a common vegetable,boasts a history spanning *** enhances bone density,boosts metabolism,and effectively alleviates osteoporosis-induced *** its historical use,the molecular mechanisms behind Cyathulae Radix’s impact on osteoporosis remain *** this study,we investigated the effects and mechanisms of Cyathulae Radix ethanol extract(CEE)in inhibiting osteoporosis and ***-week-old female mice underwent ovariectomy and were treated with CEE for eight ***-computed tomography(micro-CT)assessed histomorphometric parameters,bone tissue staining observed distal femur histomorphology,and three-point bending tests evaluated tibia mechanical ***-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)measured serum estradiol(E2),receptor activator for nuclear factor B ligand(RANKL),and osteoprotegerin(OPG)***-related markers were analyzed via Western blotting(WB)and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).Additionally,CEE effects on RANKL-induced osteoclast formation and bone resorption were investigated in vitro using tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase(TRAP)staining,qRT-PCR,and WB *** with the ovariectomy(OVX)group,CEE treatment enhanced trabecular bone density,maximal load-bearing capacity,and various histomorphometric *** E2 and OPG levels significantly increased,while Receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB(RANK)decreased in the CEE *** downregulated matrix metallopeptidase 9(MMP-9),Cathepsin K(CTSK),and TRAP gene and protein *** bone marrow macrophages(BMMs),CEE reduced mature osteoclasts,bone resorption pit areas,and MMP-9,CTSK,and TRAP expression during osteoclast *** with DMSO treatment,CEE markedly inhibited RANK,TNF receptor associated factor 6(TRAF6),Proto-oncogene c-Fos(c-Fos),Nuclear factor of activated T-cells cytoplasmic 1(NFATc1)expressions,and Extracellular regula

In this paper,we design the differentially private variants of the classical Frank-Wolfe algorithm with shuffle model in the optimization of machine *** weak assumptions and the generalized linear loss(GLL)structure,we propose a noisy Frank-Wolfe with shuffle model algorithm(NoisyFWS)and a noisy variance-reduced Frank-Wolfe with the shuffle model algorithm(NoisyVRFWS)by adding calibrated laplace noise under shuffling scheme in thel_(p)(p∈[1,2])-case,and study their privacy as well as utility guarantees for the H?lder smoothness *** particular,the privacy guarantees are mainly achieved by using advanced composition and privacy amplification by *** utility bounds of the Noisy FWS and NoisyVRFWS are analyzed and obtained the optimal excess population risksO(n-(1+α/4α+log(d)√log(1/δ)/n∈and O(n-1+α/4α+log(d)√log1(+δ)/n^(2)∈with gradient complexity O(n(1+α)^(2)/4α^(2)forα∈[1/√3,1].It turns out that the risk rates under shuffling scheme are a nearly-dimension independent rate,which is consistent with the previous work in some *** addition,there is a vital tradeoff between(α,L)-Holder smoothness GLL and the gradient *** linear gradient complexity O(n)is showed by the parameterα=1.

Intestinal microbiota imbalance may worsen the progression of ulcerative colitis(UC).Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus LS8(LR)has the potential ability to regulate microbiota through producing a novel antibacterial substance,cyclic opine:*** study aimed to investigate whether LR could ameliorate dextran sulfate sodium-induced UC in mice via modulating intestinal microbiota using fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)*** results showed that both LR and FMT attenuated UC as evidenced by 1)alleviating disease activity index and colonic pathology;2)up-regulating MUCs and tight junction proteins;3)increasing oxidative mediators and decreasing antioxidant mediators;4)down-regulating proinflammatory cytokines and *** results were mainly attributable to the microbiota-regulating effect of LR,including increasing beneficial bacteria(like Akkermansia)and its related SCFAs,while decreasing harmful bacteria(like Proteobacteria)and its related LPS,thereby suppressing the hyperactivation of TLR4/NF-κB ***,LR can alleviate UC and is a potential dietary supplement to attenuate UC.

Four-birds-with-one-stone:A multifunctional Ti-based material for solar-driven water evaporation

Sustainable,environmentally friendly and low-energy desalination materials have important research value for the increasing demand of freshwater year by ***,it is a huge challenge to maintain high heat energy transfer efficiency without reducing the heat conversion capacity of specific solar photothermal conversion ***,their efficiency and durability are greatly limited by the problems of seawater corrosion,oil,and bacteria *** now,no related work has been reported to solve all the aforementioned problems via a simple four-birds-with-one-stone ***,a class of multifunctional porous photothermal silver(Ag)modified Ti foams(Tf-TA/Ag series materials)is prepared for the development of advanced solar water evaporation devices,and provides alternative materials for alleviating freshwater crisis and treating *** oil contact angle(OCA)changes from 41°to 180°,which significantly reduces the adhesion of *** addition,Tf-TA2/Ag sample also shows an excellent and sustained antibacterial effect,which maintains above 99.9%of antibacterial rate after repeated 5 *** surface temperature of the Tf-TA2/Ag sample reaches 52.5℃ after simulated sun irradiation for 20 min,which is significantly higher than that of the contact groups(water:36.4℃,Ti foam:38.2℃ and Tf-TA2:40.9℃).The capacity of seawater evaporation and salt removal is enhanced due to the excellent photothermal properties,low reflectance,and uniform heat dissipation *** water production efficiency of Tf-TA2/Ag sample is 1.41 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1) in artificial seawater and 0.76 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1) in oily sewage under simulated sun ***,the hydrophilic and oleophobic properties of Tf-TA2/Ag are critical to extracting water from oil/water mixture in diverse water ***,this four-birds-with-one-stone approach provides a new perspective for the improvement of solar seawater desalination performance.

An innovative metallic buffer consisting of series-connected hat-shaped entangled wire mesh damper(EWMD)and parallel springs are proposed in this work to enhance the reliability of engineering *** impact response and the energy dissipation mechanism of hat-shaped EWMD under different quasi-static compression deformations(2-7 mm)and impact heights(100-200 mm)are investigated using experimental and numerical *** results demonstrate distinct stages in the quasi-static mechanical characteristics of hat-shaped EWMD,including stiffness softening,negative stiffness,and stiffness *** loss factor gradually increases with increasing compression deformation before entering the stiffness hardening *** impact loads,the hat-shaped EWMD exhibits optimal impact energy absorption when it enters the negative stiffness stage(150 mm),resulting in the best impact isolation effect of metallic ***,the impact energy absorption significantly decreases when hat-shaped EWMD enters the stiffness hardening ***,quasi-static compression analysis after experiencing different impact loads reveals the disappearance of the negative stiffness ***,with increasing impact loads,the stiffness hardening point progressively shifts to an earlier stage.

Copper-based metal-organic frameworks(Cu-MOFs)are a promising multiphase catalyst for catalyzing C-S coupling reactions by virtue of their diverse structures and ***,the unpleasant odor and instability of the organosulfur,as well as the mass-transfer resistance that exists in multiphase catalysis,have often limited the catalytic application of Cu-MOFs in C-S coupling *** this paper,a Cu-MOFs catalyst modified by cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB)was designed to enhance mass transfer by increasing the adsorption of organic substrates using the long alkanes of ***,elemental sulfur was used to replace organosulfur to achieve a highly efficient and atom-economical multicomponent C-S coupling reaction.
