Understanding the spatial distribution of plant species and their dynamic changes in arid areas is crucial for addressing the challenges posed by climate *** ammodendron shelterbelts are essential for the protection of plant resources and the control of desertification in Central *** far,the potential suitable habitats of *** in Central Asia are still uncertain in the future under global climate change *** study utilised the maximum entropy(MaxEnt)model to combine the current distribution data of *** with its growth-related data to analyze the potential distribution pattern of *** across Central *** results show that there are suitable habitats of *** in the Aralkum Desert,northern slopes of the Tianshan Mountains,and the upstream of the Tarim River and western edge of the Taklimakan Desert in the Tarim Basin under the current climate *** period from 2021 to 2040 is projected to undergo significant changes in the suitable habitat area of *** in Central Asia,with a projected 15.0% decrease in the unsuitable habitat *** areas farther from the ocean,such as the Caspian Sea and Aralkum Desert,will continue to experience a decrease in the suitable habitats of *** exhibiting frequent fluctuations in the habitat suitability levels are primarily found along the axis stretching from Astana to Kazakhskiy Melkosopochnik in *** regions can transition into suitable habitats under varying climate conditions,requiring the implementation of appropriate human intervention measures to prevent *** climate conditions are expected to cause an eastward shift in the geometric centre of the potential suitable habitats of ***,with the extent of this shift amplifying alongside more greenhouse gas *** study can provide theoretical support for the spatial configuration of *** shelterbelts and desertification co

The stable operation of solid-state lithium metal batteries at low temperatures is plagued by severe restrictions from inferior electrolyte-electrode interface compatibility and increased energy barrier for Li^(+)***,we prepare a dual-salt poly(tetrahydrofuran)-based electrolyte consisting of lithium hexafluorophosphate and lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate(LiDFOB).The Li-salt anions(DFOB−)not only accelerate the ring-opening polymerization of tetrahydrofuran,but also promote the formation of highly ion-conductive and sustainable interphases on Li metal anodes without sacrificing the Li^(+)conductivity of electrolytes,which is favorable for Li^(+)transport kinetics at low *** of this polymer electrolyte in Li||LiFePO_(4)cells show 82.3%capacity retention over 1000 cycles at 30℃and endow stable discharge capacity at−30℃.Remarkably,the Li||LiFePO4 cells retain 52%of their room-temperature capacity at−20℃and 0.1 *** rational design of dual-salt polymer-based electrolytes may provide a new perspective for the stable operation of quasi-solid-state batteries at low temperatures.

Hydrogels electrolytes with flexibility and high conductivity have been widely used in kinds of flexible ***,hydrogels always suffer from the inevitable freezing of water at subzero temperatures,which results in the sacrificing of their electrical ***,an anti-freezing,flexible hydrogel based on in situ reduction of graphene oxide(GO)and laponite has been developed as electrolyte for high performance supercapacitor and sensitive *** crosslinked GO and laponite in polyacrylamide(PAM)resulted in an enhanced mechanical property,while the in-situ reduction of GO in the hydrogel enhanced the conductivity and diminishes the aggregated of *** features guarantee a reliable electro signal as sensor and a high performance of the ***,in the process of preparation of reduced graphene oxide(rGO)hydrogel,the addition of ethylene glycol(EG)and KOH,endows the hydrogel antifreeze *** anti-freezing electrolyte can be stretched to a strain of 1600%and maintained a specific capacitance of 37.38 F·g^(-1) at-20℃.In addition,the photothermal conversion character of rGO in the hydrogel,endows it’s the potential application in wound *** overall merits of the hydrogel will open up a new avenue for sensitive sensor and energy storage device in practical applications.

One-stage partial nitrification coupled with anammox(PN/A)technology effectively reduces the energy consumption of a biological nitrogen removal *** nitrite-oxidizing bacteria(NOB)is essential for this technology to maintain efficient nitrogen removal *** ammonium concentration(IAC)affects the degree of inhibited *** this study,the effect of the IAC on a PN/A biofilm was investigated in a moving bed biofilm *** results showed that nitrogen removal efficiency decreased from 82.49%±1.90%to 64.57%±3.96%after the IAC was reduced from 60 to 20 mg N/L,while the nitrate production ratio increased from 13.87%±0.90%to 26.50%±3.76%.NOB activity increased to1,133.86 mg N/m^(2)/day after the IAC decreased,approximately 4-fold,indicating that the IAC plays an important inhibitory role in *** rate-limiting step in the mature biofilm of the PN/A system is the nitritation process and is not shifted by the *** analysis of the microbial community structure in the biofilm indicates that the IAC was the dominant factor in changes in community *** and *** were the main anammox bacteria,and Nitrosomonas and Nitrospira were the main AOB and NOB,*** did not affect the difference in growth between *** and ***,modulating the IAC promoted the PN/A process with efficient nitrogen removal performance at medium to low ammonium concentrations.

Magnetic skyrmions emerge when the energy of ferromagnetic exchange interaction promoting parallel alignment of spins enters in competition with energies favoring non-collinear alignment of spins such as Dzy aloshinskii-Moriya interaction(DMI),long-rang dipole-dipole interaction(DDI),or higher-order exchange *** perform an unbiased Monte Carlo simulation to study the DMI-based skyrmion nucleation and stabilization on the surface of magnetic nanotubular monolayer controlled by tuning constants of DDI(g) and next-nearest-neighbor antiferromagnetic exchange interaction(j') with appropriate *** g and j',the loosely distributed skyrmions initially nucleate on the surface of nanotube approaching to the magnetic field(h) direction with increasing h in the intermediate ***,the skyrmion size,shape,density,distribution and crystal structure,as well as its driven field range,are tailored by g and j'.This work demonstrates the skyrmion nucleation mechanisms in three-dimensional magnetic nanostructures with curvature effect and multiple interactions,serving as a benchmark for a guide to experimentalists for preparation of samples in magnetic skyrmion states.

Compared to conventional electrocatalytic water splitting,electrocatalytic ethanol oxidation reaction(EOR)along with hydrogen production is considered a more energy-efficient ***,we prepared a type of novel quaternary alloy catalyst(PtAuCuNi@NF)that exhibits excellent activity for EOR(0.215 V at 10 mA cm^(-2))and hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)(7 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2)).Experimental results demonstrated that both Cu and Ni modulated the electronic environment around Pt and *** electron-rich active center facilitates the rapid adsorption and dissociation of reactants and intermediates for both EOR and ***,in the ethanol-assisted overall water splitting(E-OWS),a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2)was achieved at 0.28 ***,an advanced acid-base self-powered system(A-Bsps)that can achieve a self-powered voltage of 0.59 V was ***,the self-driven hydrogen production with zero external power supply was realized by integrating A-Bsps with the E-OWS *** interesting results can provide a feasible strategy for designing and developing advanced nanoalloy-based materials for clean energy integration and use in various fields.

Insufficient observations near the origin of the Kuroshio have led to incomplete understanding of the intraseasonal variability(ISV)of the *** measurements of the Kuroshio velocity were performed with an array of three profiler moorings(122.7°E,123°E,and 123.3°E)along 18°N from January 2018 to February *** ISV of the Kuroshio at 18°N was investigated based on a combination of mooring observations and global high-resolution HYbrid Coordinate Ocean Model reanalysis *** estimated time-averaged transport in the upper 350 m across the observation transect was 6.5±2.6 Sv(1.0 Sv=10^(6)m^(3)/s).Two significant ISV peaks at 50-60 and~100 d were recognized in the power spectra of the meridional velocity and *** analysis indicated that the ISV at 50-60 d was caused by westward-propagating eddies at average propagation speed of~13 cm/s and wavelength of~635 *** ISV peak at~100 d was mainly caused by northward-propagating eddies generated in the North Equatorial Current *** investigation indicated that the ISV of the Kuroshio at 18°N is dominated by meridional transport,rather than by the zonal migration of the Kuroshio main *** findings provide a better understanding of the ISV of the Kuroshio east of Luzon Island.

The theory of network science has attracted great interest of many researchers in the realm of biomathematics and public health,and numerous valuable epidemic models have been *** previous studies,it is common to set up a one-to-one correspondence between the nodes of a multi-layer network,ignoring the more complex situations in *** the present work,we explore this situation by setting up a partially coupled model of a two-layer network and investigating the impact of asymptomatic infected individuals on *** propose a self-discovery mechanism for asymptomatic infected individuals,taking into account situations such as nucleic acid testing in the community and individuals performing self-antigen testing during the *** these factors together,through the microscopic Markov chain approach(MMCA)and extensive Monte Carlo(MC)numerical simulations,we find that the greater the coupling between the networks,the more information dissemination is *** order to control the epidemics,more asymptomatic infected individuals should be made aware of their *** adoption of nucleic acid testing and individual adoption of antigenic self-testing can help to contain epidemic ***,the epidemic threshold of the proposed model is derived,and then miscellaneous factors affecting the epidemic threshold are also *** results are conducive to devising the prevention and control policies of pandemics.
