Background： Sacroiliac （SI） screw fixation is a demanding technique, with a high rate of screw malposition due to the complex pelvic anatomy. TiRobot- is an orthopedic surgery robot which can be used for SI screw fixation. This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of robot-assisted placement of SI screws compared with a freehand technique. Methods：Thirty patients requiring posterior pelvic ring stabilization were randomized to receive freehand or robot-assisted SI screw fixation, between January 2016 and June 2016 at Beijing Jishuitan Hospital. Forty-five screws were placed at levels S1 and S2. In both methods, the primary end point screw position was assessed and classified using postoperative computed tomography. Fisher＇s exact probability test was used to analyze the screws＇positions. Secondary end points, such as duration of trajectory planning, surgical time after reduction of the pelvis, insertion time for guide wire, number of guide wire attempts, and radiation exposure without pelvic reduction, were also assessed. Results： Twenty-three screws were placed in the robot-assisted group and 22 screws in the freehand group; no postoperative complications or revisions were reported. The excellent and good rate of screw placement was 100% in the robot-assisted group and 95% in the freehand group. The P value （0.009） showed the same superiority in screw distribution. The fluoroscopy time after pelvic reduction in the robot-assisted group was significantly shorter than that in the freehand group （median [Q1, Q3]： 6.0 [6.0, 9.0] s vs. median [Q1, Q3]： 36.0 [21.5, 48.0] s; χ2 = 13.590, respectively, P 〈 0.001）; no difference in operation time after reduction of the pelvis was noted （χ2 = 1.990, P = 0.158）. A chemically closed-loop-recyclable biodegradable polymer,poly(p-dioxanone)(PPDO),is one of the ideal candidates for single-use plastic products due to its suitability for different application ***,when PPDO wastes can be collected,its monomer p-dioxanone(PDO) will be obtained through chemical recycling of these wastes;when cannot be collected,the wastes are able to be biodegraded into harmless ***,unsatisfied thermal stability and low crystallization rate of PPDO restrict its wider ***,based on end-group regulation,we simultaneously realized the significant enhancement of thermal stability and crystallization of PPDO through the simple melt processing with tributyl phosphite(TBP) or triphenyl phosphite(TPP).The model reactions were conducted to investigate the reaction mechanism and theoretical products during the preparation of PPDO/phosphite *** kinds of phosphites were proved to act as the end-capped reagent and chain extender in the melt processing,while TBP presented better *** a result,the activation energy of thermal decomposition was largely elevated,and the unprecedented T_(5%)(the temperature at a weight loss of 5%) and Tmax(the temperature at a maximum rate of weight loss) of PPDO were obtained,i.e.,T_(5%)of ~330 ℃ and Tmaxof ~385 ℃ in N_(2) atmosphere,T_(5%)of ~240 ℃ and Tmaxof ~317 ℃ in air atmosphere,***,the increased crystallization rate,crystallinity,crystalline orderliness,and realizable monomer recovery(yield >90%,purity >99.9%) of PPDO/phosphite compounds were confirmed.

Mycorrhiza helper bacteria(MHB)can promote the formation and functioning of arbuscular mycorrhizal(AM)symbiosis,but their role and application potential in coping with soil-borne diseases are still unclear.A 14-week greenhouse pot experiment was conducted to obtain several actinomycete strains helping AM symbiosis in suppressing the Phytophthora blight of pepper(Capsicum annuum L.),using a soil inoculated with Phytophthora capsici after *** Streptomyces strains,including ***,***,***,***,and ***,as well as the AM fungus(Funneliformis caledonium)were *** Phytophthora blight severity reached 66%at full productive stage in the uninoculated control,and inoculation of ***,***,and *** alone significantly decreased(P<0.05)it to 47%,40%,and 35%,*** to *** alone,additional inoculation of *** or ***,which were isolated from the rhizosphere of a healthy individual in an infected field,significantly elevated(P<0.05)root mycorrhizal colonization,root biomass,fruit yield,and total K acquisitions of pepper and further significantly decreased(P<0.05)blight *** to the feature of enhancing disease-suppression by AM symbiosis,both *** and *** were confirmed as MHB strains ***,*** had a stronger performance in directly accelerating mycorrhization,while *** was also an antagonist to the pathogenic ***,*** with the independent disease-suppression function was not an MHB strain *** redundancy analyses demonstrated that when AM fungus was present,root mycorrhizal colonization replaced soil pH becoming the main factor affecting pepper Phytophthora ***,*** and *** seemed to have the value of preparation and application in the future to help AM symbiosis against pepper Phytophthora blight.

FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3(FLT3)is a viable and important therapeutic target for acute myeloid leukemia(AML).FLT3 internal tandem duplication(FLT3-ITD)mutations have been identified in approximately 30%of AML patients,and are associated with unfavorable prognosis,higher risk of relapse,drug resistance,and poor clinical *** FLT3 inhibitors have demonstrated promising efficacy,they cannot cure AML or even significantly extend the lives of patients with FLT3-ITD *** is partly because of poor water solubility,insufficient membrane penetration and short half-life of small molecule ***,the presence of enzymes like CYP3A4 in bone marrow accelerate the elimination and metabolism of FLT3 inhibitors,resulting in low plasma concentrations and side *** we report the erythrocyte membrane-camouflaged FLT3 inhibitor nanoparticles to enhance FLT3-ITD AML ***,we physically coextruded red blood cell(RBC)membrane vesicles with nanoparticles derived from FLT3 inhibitor F30 to obtain F30@RBC-M,which exhibited comparable potent FLT3-ITD inhibitory effects compared to free F30 in vitro,while displaying a higher potent antitumor efficacy in xenograft models due to the prolonged circulation ***,administration of F30@RBC-M significantly extended the survival of mice in a transplanted mouse model than F30 free *** findings suggest that RBC membrane-coated nanoparticles derived from FLT3 inhibitors hold promise as a tool to enhance the therapeutic efficacy to treat FLT3-ITD AML.

Fenton reaction centered ferroptosis-apoptosis synergetic therapy has emerged as a promising tumor elimination ***,the low intracellular Fenton level and accumulation of therapeutics at the lesion site greatly limit the efficacy of ferroptosis *** overcome these two bottlenecks,an inhalable metal polyphenol network(MPN)-hybrid liposome,encoded as LDG,was proposed for enhancing the intracellular Fenton reaction level by co-delivering the ferroptosis inducer dihydroartemisinin(DHA)and the ferrous ion(Fe2+)donor *** synthesized LDG had excellent nebulization performance which significantly improved the accumulation in the lungs,about 8.2 times of intravenous *** terms of anticancer mechanisms,MPN raised the intracellular level of Fe2+by constructing iron cycling in the weakly acidic environment of *** by Fe2+,DHA with peroxide-bridge structure underwent a high level of Fenton-like reaction,promoted the production of intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS)and induced strong ferroptosis while cooperating with *** exhibited extraordinary antitumor ability in an orthotopic lung tumor model,whose tumor inhibition efficiency was 1.53(P=0.0014)and 1.32(P=0.0183)times of the LG group(liposomes coated with gallic acid(GA)-Fe MPN)and LD group(liposomes loaded with DHA),respectively,showing the strongest anticancer *** conclusion,the constructed MPN-hybrid liposomes could be a potent custom nanoplatform for pulmonary delivery and underscored the great potential of ferroptosis-apoptosis synergetic therapy.

Risk Factors Asscociated with Hypokalemia during Postanesthesia Recovery and Its Impact on Outcomes in Gynecological Patients:A Propensity Score Matching Study

Objective:This study aimed to explore the risk factors and outcomes of hypokalemia during the recovery period from anesthesia in the gynecological ***:This retrospective cohort study included 208 patients who underwent gynecological surgery at our institution between January 2021 and March *** were collected for each patient,including demographics,disease status,surgical data,and clinical *** bowel preparation,postoperative gastrointestinal function,and electrolyte levels were compared between the two groups using propensity score matching(PSM).Results:The incidence of hypokalemia(serum potassium level<3.5 mmol/L)during the recovery period from anesthesia was approximately 43.75%.After PSM,oral laxative use(96.4%vs.82.4%,P=0.005),the number of general enemas(P=0.014),and the rate of≥2 general enemas(92.9%vs.77.8%,P=0.004)were identified as risk factors for hypokalemia,which was accompanied by decreased PaCO_(2) and *** were no significant differences in postoperative gastrointestinal outcomes,such as the time to first flatus or feces,the I-FEED score(a scoring system was created to evaluate impaired postoperative gastrointestinal function),or postoperative recovery outcomes,between the hypokalemia group and the normal serum potassium ***:Hypokalemia during postanesthesia recovery period occurred in 43.75%of gynecological patients,which resulted from preoperative mechanical bowel preparation;however,it did not directly affect clinical outcomes,including postoperative gastrointestinal function,postoperative complications,and length of hospital stay.

Weighted sum power maximization for STAR-RIS-aided SWIPT systems with nonlinear energy harvesting

The conventional reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS) is limited to reflecting incident signals,thereby imposing constraints on the placement of the transmitter and receiver, which hinders achieving comprehensive signal coverage across an entire area. This paper investigates a simultaneously transmitting and reflecting(STAR)-RIS-aided simultaneous wireless information and power transfer(SWIPT) system with a nonlinear energy harvesting model under three different RIS transmission protocols: energy splitting(ES),time switching(TS), and mode switching(MS). The objective of this paper is to maximize the weighted sum power(WSP) of all energy harvesting receivers(EHRs) while ensuring fairness in the collected power among them. This is achieved by jointly optimizing the transmit beamforming at the base station(BS)and the transmission and reflection coefficients at the STAR-RIS, subject to rate constraints for information decoding receivers(IDRs), transmit power constraint at the BS, and coefficient constraints of each element at the STAR-RIS corresponding to the three protocols. Solving this optimization problem poses challenges because of the complicated objective function and numerous coupled optimization variables of the ES STAR-RIS. To address this complexity, an efficient alternating optimization(AO) approach is proposed as an iterative solution method that achieves suboptimal results. The AO algorithm is then extended to MS STAR-RIS and TS STAR-RIS. Specifically, for MS STRA-RIS, binary constraints in the STAR-RIS coefficient optimization subproblem are handled using the first-order approximation technique along with the penalty function method.
