BACKGROUND Acute decompensation(AD)of cirrhosis is associated with high short-term mortality,mainly due to the development of acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF).Thus,there is a need for biomarkers for early and accurate identification of AD patients with high risk of development of ACLF and *** triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1(sTREM-1)is released from activated innate immune cells and correlated with various inflammatory *** To explore the prognostic value of sTREM-1 in patients with AD of *** A multicenter prospective cohort of 442 patients with cirrhosis hospitalized for AD was divided into a study cohort(n=309)and validation cohort(n=133).Demographic and clinical data were collected,and serum sTREM-1 was measured at *** enrolled patients were followed-up for at least 1 *** In patients with AD and cirrhosis,serum sTREM-1 was an independent prognosis predictor for 1-year survival and correlated with liver,coagulation,cerebral and kidney failure.A new prognostic model of AD(P-AD)incorporating sTREM-1,blood urea nitrogen(BUN),total bilirubin(TBil),international normalized ratio(INR)and hepatic encephalopathy grades was established and performed better than the model for end-stage liver disease(MELD),MELD-sodium(MELD-Na),chronic liver failure-consortium(CLIF-C)ACLF and CLIF-C AD ***,sTREM-1 was increased in ACLF and predicted the development of ACLF during first 28-d *** ACLF risk score incorporating serum sTREM-1,BUN,INR,TBil and aspartate aminotransferase levels was established and significantly superior to MELD,MELD-Na,CLIF-C ACLF,CLIF-C AD and P-AD in predicting risk of ACLF *** Serum sTREM-1 is a promising prognostic biomarker for ACLF development and mortality in patients with AD of cirrhosis.

Images at 20 cm and the Spectrum Index of NGC 2997

We present total intensity maps of the galaxy NGC 2997 at frequencies 1435.1MHz (λ21cm) and 1652.4MHz (λ18cm) observed with the Very Large Array (VLA). The high spatial resolution allows us to distinguish two dominant arms. Using multi-frequency data, we separate the thermal and non-thermal contributions to the radio emission. The thermal emission is about 35% of the total emission at λ3 cm. We use it to estimate a space-averaged thermal electron density, (ne) - 0.049 cm-3. The spectral index map shows that the optical arms and the central part of the galaxy have flatter spectra. We also determine the flux densities of 22 radio sources in the field-of-view of 25'.

Kinematics of the high-excitation HH 890 jet in the Rosette Nebula

Photoionized jets immersed in HII regions display special properties, which made them a distinctive category of Herbig-Haro （HH） flows. Detailed studies of such jet systems became one of the key issues in our understanding of jet production and evolution. HH 890, initially called the Rosette HH2 jet, is the second photoionized jet discovered in the spectacular HII region of the Rosette Nebula. Contrary to conventional impressions of a jet, its discrete components are found to be unexpectedly broad and spatially detached from the proposed energy source. The jet displays additional unusual features which point to the disputable nature of the system. Here, we investigate the kinematics of the jet through high-quality echelle spectrograms. It is distinctively resolved into a fast component with a mean approaching velocity of-39 km s^-1 with respect to the systemic rest frame and a slow component with radial velocity centered at -9 km s^-1. The slow component indicates an apparently larger dispersion in radial velocity in various emission lines and is likely dissolving at roughly the speed of sound, which favors a photoevaporated origin. The [SII] doublet ratios indicate an electron density of -1.1×10^3 cm^-3 in the collimated jet and ,-9×10^2 cm^-3 in the HII region. This, along with the diffuse appearance of the extensive part of the jet, leads to a dissipation of the jet in the fully ionized medium of Rosette. In addition, time series of photometric observations provide evidence for remarkable light variations of the energy source. Its amplitudes of variation amount to 〉 1 mag in both R and I, which is commensurate with the young evolutionary status of the source as indicated by a red, late type optical spectrum.

Effects of Ion Temperature and Inertia on Kinetic Alfvén Waves

Kinetic Alfvén wave (KAW) has been an interesting topic for discussion extensively in the fields of labora-tory, space, and astrophysical plasmas. A general dispersion equation is derived from the exact two-fluid model in thisambient magnetic field. For the short wavelength cases of kλi >> 1, where λi = vA/ωci and ωci are the ion inertial lengthand gyrofrequency, respectively, our dispersion relations are appropriate for discussing effects of the ion temperatureand inertia on KAWs. The present results show that both the ion temperature and inertia can affect considerably thebehaviors of KAWs in propagation, resonance, and polarization. In particular, our results may be a great help to un-derstanding some salient features of the low-frequency (in comparison with the ion gyrofrequency ωci) electromagneticfluctuations frequently observed by the FREJA and FAST satellites in the auroral zone of the Earth's ionosphere andmagnetosphere.

Effects of heavy ions on kinetic Alfven waves

Kinetic Alfven Wave (KAW) is one of the low-frequency electromagnetic fluctuations that are identified extensively in space plasmas by in situ observations of satellites and has been an interesting topic for discussion widely in the fields of laboratory, space, and astrophysical plasmas because of its potential importance in plasma particle energization. Some satellite observations show that the number density ratio of the oxygen ions to the ambient plasma is 30% similar to 50%, sometimes, even as high as 80%. In this paper, effects of heavy ion species on KAWs are studied in a low-beta plasma. The results show that heavy ions not only considerably reduce the propagation speed of KAWs, but also remarkably influence the parallel component of perturbed electric field of KAWs (to the ambient magnetic field). The ratio of parallel to perpendicular components of perturbed field decreases (or increases) with the heavy ion abundance for KAWs dominated by the electron inertial length (or by ion acoustic gyroradius). In particular, the resonant condition of KAWs with thermal electrons is modified by the heavy ion species.

最近提出的进化强化学习(evolutionary reinforcement learning,ERL)框架表明了利用进化算法提高强化学习的探索能力对性能提升的好处。然而,现有的基于ERL的方法并没有完全解决进化算法中突变的可伸缩性问题且由于进化算法本身的限制使得ERL解决问题的速度较为缓慢。为了使算法每一步的探索都被限制在安全区域中且能在较短的时间内收敛,运用元学习的思想,预训练一个初始的种群,这个种群只需要经过几次进化就能得到任务中不错的效果。将预训练过后的种群用于处理任务,在此过程中,利用敏感度调整种群突变的范围,限制种群在安全区域内进行突变,确保种群的突变不会带来无法预料的后果。该方法在来自OpenAI gym中的五种机器人运动中进行了评估。最终在所有测试的环境中,该方法在以ERL、CEM-RL以及两种最先进的RL算法、PPO和TD3为基线的比较中,取得了具有竞争性的效果。

Transition Metal/Lanthanide-Nitrogen Double Bonds Co-stabilized in a Carbon Cage

Metal−nitrogen double bonds have been commonly reported for conventional metal complexes,but the coexistence of both transition metal−nitrogen and lanthanide−nitrogen double bonds bridged by nitrogen within one compound has never been ***,by encapsulating a ternary transition metallanthanide heteronuclear dimetallic nitride into a C_(84) fullerene cage,transition metal−nitrogen and lanthanide-nitrogen double bonds are costabilized simultaneously within the as-formed clusterfullerene TiCeN@C_(1)(12)-C_(84),which is a representative heteronuclear dimetallic nitride *** molecular structure was unambiguously determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,revealing a slightly bentμ2-bridged nitride cluster with short Ti−N(1.761Å)and Ce−N(2.109Å)bond lengths,which are comparable to the corresponding Ti=N and Ce=N double bonds of reported metal complexes and consistent with the theoretically predicted values,confirming their coexistence within TiCeN@C_(1)(12)-C_(84).Density functional theory(DFT)calculations unveil three-center two-electron(3c-2e)bonds delocalized over the entire TiCeN cluster,which are responsible for costabilization of Ti�N and Ce�N double *** electronic configuration of Ti4+Ce^(3+)N^(3−)@C_(84)^(4−)is proposed featuring an intramolecular four-electron transfer,drastically different from the analogous actinide dimetallic nitride clusterfullerene(U_(2))^(9+)N^(3−)@C_(80)^(6−)and trimetallic nitride clusterfullerene(Sc_(2))^(6+)Ti^(3+)^(N3−)@C_(80)^(6−),indicating the peculiarity of 4-fold negatively charged fullerene cage in stabilizing the heteronuclear dimetallic nitride cluster.
